Aren't those hexagons neat. Home decor is a snap. After I calibrated my explore to be a able to print the rest was a breeze. I think you will love this feature. Leave a comment and let me know what you think. If there is anything you want me to share with scrappin' Saturdays or something you want to know let me know, so I can do some research and share what I find.

Scrappin' Saturday - Campin Critters

Welcome to another edition of Scrappin' Saturday where we explore the possibilities you have with your Cricut machines. It seems a lot of people I know are using the late summer early fall to do some camping so today we are looking at the Campin' Critters cartridge.
This way too cute camping themed cartridge has just what you need for camping layouts, cards and more. It evens has a few fun 3D projects including a backpack, journal, and tent. On top of these cute critters in camping poses the cartridge includes a sign feature and the badges feature - my personal favorite.
You can do so much with this cartridge and not just for camping. Take a look at how some of the fantastic FCCB design team members have worked with this cart.

Avril (just a few week backs for our camping challenge)

I hope you enjoy this cart and what it has to offer and have a wonderful weekend. Next week be on the look for a new Scrappin' Saturday when Diana.L.takes over. I have so enjoyed sharing these with you over the summer. L.B.

Scrappin' Saturday - Teacher

Welcome to the weekend and this week's Scrappin' Saturday.  For many school is back in full swing or just about to start and that means meeting a new....
TEACHER

How cute are these images that you can be cut with your Cricut?  If  you search for teacher you can find all three (or go look right on the carts listed). You could also create a teacher with those wonderful paper doll cartridges.
Need just the right teacher word cuts and you have several to select from as well.
I know many of you also like to make cards for teachers and the Simple Everyday Cards has just what you are looking for with this cute card.
Remember in Design Studio or Cricut Craft Room you can buy single images now. If you are looking for just the right teacher image or phrase you might want to try one of these.

Here are some teacher projects our Design Team has made:

Hope you have a great weekend and will join us in one of our challenges soon.  I hope you will come back next week for Scrappin' Saturday - Campin' Critters Cartridge.

"An apple a day keeps the doctor away"
"An apple for the teacher"

Of course there are apple images just for back to school:
Also you will find some specialty apple images (how can you not think of apple pie!!)

Scrappin' Saturday - Formal Occasions

Happy Saturday. Today for Scrappin' Saturday I want to explore the Formal Occasions cartridge.  Last Saturday when thinking about images and how sometimes we can not believe where we found them I got to thinking about this cartridge as it has many hidden gems that may not meet the carts overall theme.

Here is how Cricut describes this cartridge: "Whether you’re remembering prom or just a special night out, the Formal Occasion cartridge has the stylized glamour you need."

As you can see the images included range from dresses, flowers and limos to phrases and frames with a bunch of dance themes. I love the potential for titles on this one( a few of them not what you might think to find). Here are a few selections:
For special events or to celebrate the everyday this cart creates some amazing projects. Here are some I found our Design Team has made:

Thanks for stopping in to Fantabulous Cricut today. Right now this cartridge is available for digital download only. I know it could be well used by all.  Hope to see you back here next week as we get ready to give an apple to the teacher or keep the doctor away.

Scrappin' Saturday - You Found it on What Cartridge?

Happy Saturday everyone. Have you ever found an image on a cartridge and were totally surprised by it? You find yourself checking the information just to make sure you have the right cartridge. Well I asked the Design Team this question and here are the results

YOU FOUND IT ON WHAT CARTRIDGE??

Emily said the phrases on Lyrical Letters really surprised her. There are some super cute ones on this "font" cartridge. All the basic thank yous and congratulations are there, but here are some I thought were extra cute.
Next up Karla mentioned a cute cowboy outfit on the Once Upon a Princess Cartridge. Not only this cute outfit, but also several little dolls and other cute dress up outfits that are not what you might think of when you think princess.
Finally are you looking for number written out?  Did you could find them in English and Spanish in the...
Graphically Speaking Cartridge?
It just goes to show you never know what surprises you will find hen looking for the right cut. Of course the searching option in both Design Space and Cricut Craft Room make it even easier to find what you are looking for, but do not be surprised when you find the perfect mirror cut on Kate's ABCs or the right seasonal background on Formal Occasions - recently I found both this way.
Have a great week. Remember you can still join us and our Take Me Out to the Ballgame Challenge ending tomorrow. See you next week when we will explore a cart with a lot of surprise images on it - Formal Occasions.

Scrappin' Saturday - Reading

Welcome to another installment of Scrappin' Saturday. Today we are looking at the theme of Reading.  I know school is right around the corner and you may not want to think about that, but about the full time readers in your life and all  those fun summer reading programs.  Sometimes getting lost in a book is wonderful and there are some cute reading cuts ready for you.
If you want to expand your search to include books you will come up with over 400 cut files (some of these are to create your own mini books). So dive into summer reading - be it at home cuddled up or pool side!
Happy Reading. Hope to see you back next week when we will explore an oldie but goodie - Sweethearts
