| Compound Word Puzzle by: Carl's Corner |
In order to keep my student's accountable, I created a recording sheet. This is how it works...
- There are 6 bags with 8 different compound words in them. You can see the drawings of bags 1, 2 and 3 on this side of the recording sheet (see picture)
- If the student starts with bag#2, they write the compound words in the area provided for bag#2.
- They continue to put the puzzles pieces together and writing the compound words next to the bag they are using.
- The picture on the puzzle piece makes this activity self-correcting!!!
The students love to see the picture come together!
