Docrafts & Gorjuss Girls

Just wanted to share my favourite make from my last Docrafts Demo at Howdens Garden Centre Inverness :D The ladies are always so lovely to demo for and seen as it was the last round with the latest Gorjuss Girls I thought I'd do something altered.

I used a little wooden blank with hinges on each side which allows the side panels to fold in, due to my flower positioning it can't but it comes in enough for it to stand in its own.

I applied a coat I've gesso all over then used the new spray micas from Docrafts, stamped the background using Gorjuss Fox Stamps, made the flowers using coffee filters the spray inks again and copics and then added a beautiful Gorjuss Decopague Girl from one of the card kits. 

I'm so chuffed how she turned out, she's going pride of place in my shop & there may even be a class in it <3

Knitting & Design Team Shout

Cards have taken a back seat for a few days as I have been knitting socks!!! I knitted myself a green pair-above, and I'm now in the middle of a pair for my sweet cheeks. I didn't think I would manage it but they are megga easy & if i can do it anyone can

and some stamping bella's that I had pre coloured, I just lurve the girls they are uber cute. I heard through the grapevine singles are being made available to buy at the end of the month and they new artwork for the second set have been sent to Funky Kits wooooohooooo the second set is supposed to be better than the first it that is al all possible!!!

Another Gorjuss Girl

I couldn't help but play with the girls again today, I just love how fantastic this ickle cutie looks in greays & black. I can't explain it but I'll try the detail in these stamps are great for colouring with copics especially if your not good with the shading, the detail is there to guide.
No doubt I'll be playing tomorrow too, I am really looking forward to the next set!!!

Sympathy Cards

I always find these a struggle and unfortunately they are one of my main sellers, this week especially I had to make a few for family. I am pleased how they turned out though I tried out my new Marthar Stwart punch that cuz sent over from the States, it is such a great punch and I hope to be using it a lot.

Home Alone :)

Well my kiddies are away for the first time with Hubs to check out his new flat in York so I am on my lonesome :) Not that I'll notice it much as I'm working LOL Got some playing done yesterday with my new blooms, I'm mad with myself I didn't order more of them, never mind.

We had the first Jewellery Class last night, we had a real hoot & many lovely earrings where created, role on the next one!

OOOOOOhhhhhhh thought I'd share by birthday prezzie from hubs :) :) isn't it LUSH!! I can now enjoy them every day in my office :) the pic isn't great so I'll try and get a better one!

Celebrating!

I am pleased to announce that I've lost a bit of weight 10lb in four weeks wooohooooo! so to celebrate instead of eating anything bad for me I mad some cards :O) I must admit I haven't done anything drastic just cut out crisps and cheap chocolate and it's worked wonders so far, here are the cards I came up with
