Swarovski Delivery

Sorry guys been real real busy with the shop, the shop as its summer tourist season, Docrafts work, design team work and most of all learning to drive......I know it has taken me long enough but I am finally getting it done and things are going brilliant I'm pleased to say :D

I've taken delivery of some beautiful Swarovski Wild @ Hearts beads :) they are so beautiful :D
To top today off my Docrafts design team kit arrived today as well which is fantastic but has a smidge of Chr*****s in there!!!

Finished work :D

Finally finished a bracelet I have been playing with for over a week :D I just love the mix of colours, I'm not normally a blue person but the shine and mix of those ceramic beads is yummy!!!

Jewellery Making Again

I've been at a bit of a loss with my jewellery making but I've managed to find my mojo this week and get some done and so far so good :)

Jewellery Mojo

Where the heck are you?!?!? I am in bad need of creating new jewellery lines for the shop but can't bring myself to take anything but a bracelet :( I did manage a necklace from some of the new stock that arrived last week, but other than that nil!! I'm going to trail through Pinterest and hope to find something to get the jewellery juices going :D

Creative Expressions Calling Card Challenge

 Life started out boring with these three kraft storage stacking tubs from Do-Crafts. The top black small was turned upside down and painted black with Tim Holtz cracked paint, the second I coloured using a Stazon Red ink pad and just wiped it all over the tub until it there was no kraft colour showing. The last which was the most fun was a bit of what I call decoupage, images where slapped on with pva in a totally random fashion and then left to dry completely, then I used Tim HoltZ walnut distress ink pad to colour the edges and add a little aged effect

 I found a little red satin ribbon in my collection but it was a bit too in your face so I ran a black Stazon in pad over to tone it down and then added it around the black top box to make it look a bit more like the hat.

I recently took delivery of these wonderful playing card rubber stamps, they where actually the reason behind this creation and my love of Alice :D To be honest there is nothing special going on with them, they where stamped coloured using my Copics and then I added 3-D clear glass over the red hearts and then on the back an ATC stamp(forgot to take a pic to show soz) To make a place for the cards to stand I didn't want to cut into the box so I had some cute teapot and teacup charms which where stuck down, with Pinflair silicone glue, side by side but with enough room to slide the playing cards in & the three cards where then glued together and added when the glue had dried.

I am actually really rather chuffed with the result and had peeps wishing to buy it :D

Precious Metal Clay

I got some new clay in the other day & seen as it was raining today I had a lovely play, I really ordered the clay to do a couple of Precious Moments Fingertprint Pendants for customers but I fancied experimenting as its a lovely material.

Lush Beads Arrived At Cullen Crafts

Took delivery of some truly beautiful beads this week :) Its busy busy trying to keep up with my beaders appetite but also means we can bring you lots of great new beads & the best bit is seeing my beaders get all excited about the new stock(I have to be pc by saying beaders as I now have quite a few men making jewellery!!)

You don't really get a great idea of how wonderful the colours are in this range as ,y pics aren't the best lol

Below pic is a before and above was the result of me having a play, they are 20mm so make a great size pendant when top & tailed with some Tibetan silver findings.

Below is the smaller size, just as vibrant but ickle & cute!

Cullen Town Hall Charity Night & Wire

We held our first Ladies Pamper evening last Tuesday and it was a great success!! We had a great crowd out to support us and they all had a fab night being pampered from :-

Our final total has still to be sorted as there are bills still to be paid but we think we raised over £600 on the night :)

It was a lot of work and stress but we got through it with the Cullen Golf Club and in fact we are looking to sort another for the guys who couldn't make it so watch this space :D

I am in the middle of sorting the shop and the Craft Fair this weekend before going on hols but I did manage to get a play in. I am right into wire but really don't have time to make anything other than Tiaras so when I saw a pic of a wired birds nest in a mag I fell in love and just had to try, I am really chuffed and to my amazement it sold within 10 mins lol I have treated myself to some sterling silver wire to try it again, I think it would just set off the pearls better.

There is a fab mix of colours, metal findings, lampwork, foil, acrylic and glass beads you best be fast thought as I expect they wont last long :)

We are quite simply bursting at the seams with stock at the moment & had to ship in three more stands to cope with it all

Finally I thought I'd share my latest order with you, I truly fell in love with this piece when it was complete, it is made with lush Pacific Ocean Swarovski Crystals and looks so much better in real life :)

Mojo Rising

Finally I am getting back on the mend and so it seems is my mojo, thankfully!!!
I'm trying to get some stock made for the Cullen Craft fair in July plus I'm off on mu hols straight after so I need to make sure the shop is well stocked before I head off or my Mum will not be a happy Mummy lol

On the note of my wonderful Mum I want to give have a massive shout out, with uber pride, for being successful in her interview today for Head Teacher at Glass Primary!!

Right that's over back to business, the shop has taken delivery of three new stands which are currently being filled with tons of great new products-BEADS_RUBBA_KITS!

Gorjuss Girls Necklace

I decided to have a play today with some of the Gorjuss charms I made the other week, I just love how cute they look in the little frames :)
I tried many way to get pics but my iPhone just ain't great lol so you'll have to trust me when I tell you its Gorjuss!!

Cupcakes

Hope this finds you all well, I haven't been up to much creative wise as the shop has been manic with customers and beads and ordering lots of lovely new stock :)
As you can see I had a play with my beautiful cupcake beads, I am really into pins at the mo but the above didn't last long as I ended up taking off the bead and just hanging it on a chain and I'm afraid to say it looks a lot better on its own lol

Cupcakes Anyone!!!

I took delivery of the most lushest handmade beads i have ever seen, from the very talented Laura Sparling!!! She inspired me to create some jewellery today and I came up with a use for some little picture charms I found in my stash from years ago :)

Here are my little ladies all glossed up and ready to go.........

......this is what I came up with, I had planned to make a charm bracelet but when I was looking for the bits I came across the pins :) I rather like it but I think I'll change the Swarovski heart to blue to match her coat and I am sure I have a little toadstool that could be used instead of the skull, but then again I like skulls :)

Handmade Tiara's

I've had a couple of Tiara orders come through and felt i should get a bit of practice in before I make them just to get back into the swing of things again. I just had some free play and ran a bit wild and now my fingers are red and sore lol but I'm pleased with my efforts.

Jewellery Making

I started this while away over Christmas, I look a huge back of supplies with me so I could play when the kids where tucked in bed but never managed to even complete this lol
I decided to a tutorial I was given on pearl stringing, boy it was tricky when you aren't in your own workroom but we get there and couldn't go any further because like a muppet I forgot to put claps in with my supplies :(
Anyhoo this was some real sweet rice pearls, with some cute Bali Silver Celtic spacer beads and a lush Swarovski Crystal pendant, all from the shop supplies and the tiny little silver spacers where purchased in Bristol
. I'm actually really pleased with it but as always my photography isn't the best and it looks way better real life :) only issue now how much to charge lol

Dust is everywhere!!!

We are currently in the middle of our renovations and by heck we have mess everywhere!!!!!

Business as normal though I am happy to say, not much crafting being done as I'm busy with my lovely customers and fulfilling my orders :)

We have yet another bead order due in hopefully next week but I'll keep you informed and I'll share the pics of the fabby new studio x

Tiara Heaven!!!

This flower and I have a love hate relationship- My customers love it and now I hate making it!!! It never plays the way I want it too LOL

An old fav but it don't half kill the fingers making it LOL

I loved the lines on the button and wanted to see the mix of feather, crystal & metal, not to struck on it myself but it has been popular.

Free Styleeee I love how the wire is very forgiving and I can let myself play :)

This one was inspired from the clients shoes from my fav shoe store Schuh, Swarovski Crystals all the way for this lady!

These pearls have been in my stash for years and years as I vowed I'd never make a pearly necklace, a real one off.

Freshwater coins came in on an order and they are so beautiful I felt something plain and simple was called for to show off their stunning colour.
