Last week I had observed how the sun hits these trees in this conservation land close to my house , and where these vibrant colors were showing , than I did like the cook Emerald Lagasse
I kicked it a notch! pastels is a good medium for this , it is a pastels are pure pigments , and will last forever ,
Again today was a beautiful day the big clouds in the sky were just beautiful !

My daughter who lives in South Carolina was not able to come for the holidays , we sure missed the family, this tree made me think of her and my grandchildren ,when I was there in March I was fascinated with these huge trees with moss all over , they are so interesting in shape .oil on linen 10x14 copyrighted 2008

Morning Sunrise
Too cold to walk today , 0 degree and Clancy is not too happy, he is looking out the window, the sun is coming up and this is what I see out of my window. I actually did this a few days ago before my grand children got up , otherwise they would of been all over my pastels.

Winter apple trees
Winter today! but we already had five storms. I am exhausted from shoveling ,one thing the landscape looks like a picture post card.
We live close to some apple orchard, so here they are
