New house!

Morning Bloggers!! Tuesday, and boy is it cold!! The weather has turned and I think we have moved from Summer straight into Winter here! Still, we've been lucky the warm weather has lasted this long, so, roll on Winter and wrapping up, thick duvets and hot chocolate!

I spent some time at Sir Stampalot on Saturday, and the lovely Kim Reygate was demonstrating and hosting a Q&A session for an stamping problems. She showed me a fab technique using alcohol inks, which I am dying to try, so watch this space!

Today's card is for one of our male teachers at work who moved into his own house on Friday last week. I gave him his card yesterday when we got back to work, and I'm proud to say he really loved it!

Bottoms Up!

Hello again! Well, we had a fab start to the New Year yesterday, with a leisurely brunch with Graham's sister and family, and then a chilled afternoon at home!

It was also our friend Dave's birthday yesterday, but unfortunately he didn't get his card on time as I had a bit of a senior moment on Tuesday when I posted it, forgetting that there would be no postal delivery yesterday, so hopefully it arrived in the post for him this morning!! We hope he had a fab day, and is getting into gear now for his 50th next year!

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year to everyone, I hope that this year will hold everything good possible and more!

Well, 1st of the month, which means a fab new challenge over at Heck of a Challenge! This month our theme is 'New', which you can interpret how you wish, new baby, new home etc, or even new stash if you had some for Christmas, just let us know what you used if that's the case. You can enter any Craft project and the prize is a £10 voucher to spend online at Every Crafts A Pound or in the actual shop in Heckmondwike.

We have new neighbours across the road from us, and I made them a New House card to welcome them to the neighbourhood. I have had this house die in my box for ages still in it's packaging, unused, so what better time to get it out than now...

Top Tip Tuesday

Hello All! Well, good news all round today! Been to see the Consultant about my skin cancer, and have been given the all clear, which is fab news! Onwards and upwards now!!

I have also been chosen to be part of the team over at Top Tip Tuesday, and today is my first post with them! They are a fabulous group of girls, and I am very honoured to be part of their team!

Turning 1!

Morning Everyone! Monday morning and back to work again! Spent a lovely day in London with my sisters-in-law yesterday, and saw their new house - absolutely beautiful! It's the start of the new term at school, so seven weeks before we finish for Christmas, which means Christmas is only actually seven-and-a-half weeks away!!

Anyway, today's card is not a Christmas card!! My cousin's little girl turns 1 on Saturday, and this is the card I posted to her...

Hello Everyone! Snuggled up under a blanket at the moment writing this - it's miserable and cold outside! Graham is in the kitchen indulging his new passion for baking - he's experimenting with whoopie pies today!! They look yummy, so I'll let you know tomorrow what they were like! It's the baby shower this afternoon, so I'm looking forward to going to that and getting out of the house, as I have serious cabin fever after being home for three weeks! Back to work on Monday, which I definitely think will be a shock to the system!
