Where to Get Facial Treatment in Seoul?

Hello everyone!

I went to Hushu Clinic to try out their facial treatment’s package last spring (April 2016). I’ve been wanted to try out Korean style aesthetic care so I thought I should try it. I have to say it’s the best facial treatment I’ve ever tried! Ok first of all, my last facial treatment in Malaysia was like more than 5 years ago. So, I’m not really sure if many of the facial treatments we have in Malaysia right now have been upgraded. Anyway, you can compare what I’ve received with the one you do in Malaysia if you want but do know that Korea is known for its best Korean cosmetics & surgeries. *grin*

Let’s start with the environment. My friend said customer service in Korea is no joke. I guess most of them are right. The condition and environment of the clinic is so comfy and relaxing. The staffs are nice and throughout the facial process they kept asking if I’m fine and did the facial massage softly.

At the waiting area.

Makeup room

Pretty lighting and hallway I just had to stop and took a selfie lol

Then, I began the session by cleaning up my makeup (they did this for me nicely) and scanning my bare face through a machine to see my skin type. This one is amazing! The name is VISIA for skin analyzer. It’s a whole face scanning where it’s automated and it tells your skin type precisely like what the major problem your skin has and even your skin age compared to your own, literally age! How cool is that?

The VISIA machine

Details

So my age is 23 but my skin age is 20 <3 <3 <3

The price for VISIA is only KRW10,000. YESS! *vomit rainbows*

The machine itself didn't tell (obviously it can't talk) you directly but you saw your skin type through the images and percentages as shown above. Then they took me to the aesthetic doctor who explained everything to me. Even if you don't wanna do the treatment, I think it's worth to know your skin problems but of course, why come all the way if you don't try? *raise eyebrows*

After scanning my skin, I began the treatment. The clinic receives many clients from Islamic countries and they are aware of what we can and cannot do like "NO surgery", no exposing of hair etc which I think is very considerate of them to do so. :)

They are very generous with the amount of moisturizer they massaged into my face. I dozed off because of the comfortableness. Oh you can tell? LOL.

Ok. Now I know many of you are curious to how much it cost by now.
Roughly, they have a few packages like acne, peeling, moisturizing etc.
The one I tried were aqua peeling (for pore problem) and intensive + moisturizing care if I'm not mistaken. The price would cost around KRW150,000 to KRW400,000 per session. I think almost the same price in Malaysia but better facilities and service I guess. ^^

If you’re interested, you can email them to know the exact price and make an appointment!

Five (5) FAQs

Salam & hi. ^_^v

Can’t believe it’s the last day of February. I promised myself to update at least once a week but look what is happening again. *sigh* Mana pergi resolutions 2016 mu itu puih.

Disebabkan nak jugak update blog, kali ni Fad nak buat entry pasal frequently asked questions (FAQ) on my personal ig, @snfad_diela. Dalam BM lah pulak kali ni ek. Hee

1.       Macam mana kenal dengan Kim?

Ok. >.< So boleh baca lah kat link sini ok. So jangan *nyanyi lagu Nurul Ajai keliru*

2.       Mertua macam mana? Mak mertua garang macam dalam drama tak?

Alhamdulillah dorang okay je. Walaupun dorang tak berapa faham pasal Islam tapi dorang tak menentang apa-apa.

LOL

4.       Best ke kahwin orang Korea?

*ROTF* Kalau tau orang2 yang intercultural marriage yang kahwin dengan lelaki Korean ni, dorang ada satu stereotype phrase/warning which is “Korean man is a good boyfriend but a bad husband”. Sometimes when Kim being a Korean, dia kiss pipi lah ke apa in public memang buat orang double take and stare lah LOL

5.       Kafad belajar mana?

Sekolah tadika kemas – SK Batu Belah, Klang – SK KGV, Seremban – SMK Rantau Panjang, Klang – SMK KGV, Seremban – Foundation in TESL, UiTM Shah Alam – Degree in TESL, UTM Skudai (until now). Dah macam nak tulis resume pulak rasa. Sebab ayah orang nogori, ibu plak jowo, so masa sekolah tu selalu pindah2 ke Klang/Seremban. Masa degree kat UTM, Fad diberi peluang oleh UTM International untuk buat summer school program kat USA (2 months) and then exchange program kat Seoul (one year). Yang ni mungkin cerita entri lain ek?

Oklah. Cukup dulu sampai sini. Dah masuk March dah pun. Masa mula menaip tadi tengah February lagi cisss -.- Insyaallah kalau Fad rajin nanti update FAQs Part 2 pulak (tu pun kalau ada yang nak baca lah post takde gambo cenggini haa.
Semoga bulan ni lagi baik dari bulan sebelumnya. Take care! :D

Culture Exchange in Korea Through Arts

Peace be upon you. Helloooo! ^^

I'm back! These few days have been waaaay hectic due to the beginning of spring semester. Anyways, I wanna share one of my favourite activities while I'm staying here. It's no other than FREE activities in Seoul Global & Cultural Center!

They never disappointed me with their prepared, fun activities for visitors and expats in Seoul. During the previous winter vacation, I gotta try painting class & dyeing class there. Check these out!

Visit their FB here.

Another attempt.
Besides the enjoying the activity, you will meet other international expats/visitors. Time to throw away that socially-awkward-manner of you.

KOREAN PAINTING CLASS

This is definitely my all-time-favourite class so far! I love playing with colours so this is what I enjoyed so much. I remembered how I love to buy colouring books when I was a kid only it's on a traditional Korean fan this time. *ear-to-ear grin*

Before & sample.

Mine is on the left side.
Besides these art classes, I've tried their Advanced Hanji class and other once in a while events they had at the center like traditional music concert and cooking class (trust me, I had so much fun every time). In fact, if you're a K-pop fans and love to dance (or even think of losing your weight by a fun activity), thery're having a K-pop dance class every Wednesday for only KRW5,000.

205 Days of Marriage : Twitter Thoughts

Assalamualaikuuuuum.
Hello!

I can't normally write an entry in the blog whenever I want to do so, I usually tweet few things happening once in a while - randomly or when something I wanna remember happen. Then, I thought this blog must be updated before I'm gonna be busy when the spring semester starts (I promised myself to write at least once a week but look at what's happening lol). Here goes...

Thought #1 : Adapting with new life

I never planned this. It just came out one evening when we're doing our work. LOL

Kengkonon sweet ah nak seprais buat kimbap sambil tunggu kat pintu "Yeaay, abang dah balik" *sambil tadah sepinggan kimbap*

Honestly, I started learning how to cook after I got married. Sebelum kahwin memanglah ada masak megi, air, mi sedap, nasi goreng, sardin, spageti, tapi tu pun tak berapa nak terel. Bila dah kawen baru lah menggagau wasap ibu and semorang yang ada kat wasap list tanya resepi. Masak kari je pon.

First week kat Korea, 4x masak beras Korea baru jadi cantik nasi tu.

Sebabkan oppa dah pernah belajar kat Malaysia setahun, dia memang suka makanan Malaysia (or semua makanan pun dia balun kot). Jadi resepi selalu tukar tukar. Korean, Malay, Western atau lauk-campak-gaul-rasa.

Paling aku suka. :3

Not surprising. We always spend hours in PSZ, UTM back then.

Selain nak menyesuaikan diri dengan life baru sebagai isteri, semua benda mesti kena share. Mesti.

Thought #2 : Miscommunication

We speak English (most of the time), Korean and Malay in our daily conversations. Sometimes, because of the different culture and proficiency that we have, we can't understand one another. Bagai ayam dengan itik.

Sometimes, we're trying so hard to remember new words (Korean for me, Malay for him)...

Thought #3 : The unexpected reactions

There's always a lil' surprise every now and then.

Di suatu malam selepas team Korea kalah Asian League.

Sudah semestinya dia tak faham tapi dia suka repeat after 2 3 perkataan last yang dia dengar.

To pray Isyak together - obviously bukan dari Korean drama.

Thought #5 : Homesick

Being away with my family for a really really long time, kengkadang memang sedih and rindu walaupun dah kahwin. Kalau masa belajar jauh jauh kat Seremban dulu ke or even masa dekat UTM Johor, tiap minggu kalau boleh nak balik Klang.

Walaupun dia tak reti nak cakap "atototo bucuk bucuk rindu rumah ye", he'll be there trying all his might to persuade me dengan kata janji manismu. Kalau dia nyanyi, confirm boleh terkeluar isi perut aku mengekek sebutan pelat dia tu.

Apa apa pun alhamdulillah. Orang selalu kata "susah wei kahwin bangsa lain/orang luar ni" tapi tiap tiap perkahwinan pun ada pasang surutnya, ada ujian, rezeki yang dah ditetapkan untuk masing-masing. Kan?

Terima kasih :')
