SCMC: Christmas Eve Tilda

It's Friday!
I know everyone is looking forward to the weekend. It's been a crazy week weather wise.
Winter seems to come creeping in too early.

Today, we start another Challenge at Stamp and Create with Magnolia

As I was going thru my colored-images-but-didn't-make-it-into-a card-yet box, I found this
Christmas Eve Tilda from the Winter Wonderland Collection from last year.
She is colored using Distress Ink Reinkers.  I also found a whole sheet of patterned paper that matched the colors I used on the image.

Now it's your turn.  Make a card with  a gift or use Magnolia images for make a package/gift.  It can be  Fall gift or Winter Gifts.  Link up your creations for a chance to win!

SCMC Spring Flowers

It's time for another challenge at Stamp and Create with Magnolia!
Our theme for the next 2 weeks is:

Here is New Year Sakura Tilda from the Winter Wonderland Collection.  I colored her with Copic Sketch Markers. The card panel and the banners/fish tails are from MFT.  Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts which is available at Stamp and Create.

I kept the inside of the card simple using the same dies I used for the front of the card.

Now, it's your turn. Drop by the SCMC blog for more inspiration from my teammates. Link up your Spring Flower creations  for a chance to win!

Peaceful Tilda at SSS

It's a beautiful Sunday here in Chicago and as the piles of snow melt, and I see tiny patches of grass showing and  it reminds me that Spring is just around the corner. Or at least that's what I'm hoping.

Today,  I have a special card for the Simon Says Stamp Blog. I'm so honored to be their guest for today and I am thankful to SSS for inviting me.

I used Peaceful Tilda from the Winder Wonderland Collection and colored her with Distress Ink Reinkers. Here's a closer look at Tilda

The Sentiment is from Ali Edward Bright Ideas. I inked it up using Memento Luxe Toffee Crunch and I embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I used die cut paper flowers for this card. For the small pink flowers, I used MFT Die-namics Mini Rolled Roses

The edges of the card were distressed, painted with acrylic paint the sewn before adhering to the card base. I use a thick card stock or watercolor paper for the card base especially when my card has lots of embellishments.  It helps support the card.

New Magnolia DooHickey Dies available at Stamp and Create

Hi everyone!
I have a quick post today. Have you seen the new

They are now available and in stock at Stamp and Create!
13 beautiful DooHickey Dies.
Plus, they are 10% -25% off!!!

Here, I have 2 simple and easy to make Christmas Tag using 2 of the new DooHickey Dies from the Winter Wonderland Collection.

For the first tag, I used the Ornament Pointy Kit .  This die can also be used as an actual Christmas tree ornament and you can decorate it and hang it on your tree.  And for the second tag I used Christmas Tree Branch. It took me awhile to figure out how to use the tree branch but based on the name, I used it to make half of a Christmas Tree.

These are the DooHickey Dies I used.

I'll be posting a few more as soon as I get a new light box.
(well, I'm still in the process of making it so wish me luck!)

North Pole TIlda

Hello again friends!
The card I am sharing with you today is the one I sent to one of the Magnolia Fans in Facebook.
Francis Weitering from Netherlands was one of the lucky fans to receive a card from one of the Magnolia DT members and I was so excited to send my card to her. And this is what I sent to her.
I used North Pole Tilda from the Winter Wonderland Collection. Colored her with Distress Ink Reinkers and I used some Magnolia Designer Paper to match her outfit.
I absolutely love her hair.  The curly swirls are just beautiful.
The flower are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The pull out tag has the sentiment and I used some Magnolia Christmas Accessory stamps to decorate the tag.

Magnolia Supplies used for this card are the following:

Here's a last look at the card.
I really enjoyed coloring this image as much as I enjoyed making the card.
I hope you like it too.
Thanks for dropping by and have a wonderful week ahead.
See you again soon!

Thanksgiving Sale!

Hello friends!
We have a Thanksgiving sale going on at

Orders placed during this week will ship out on Monday and Tuesday.
The sale runs through midnight, EST Sunday, December 1st.

*~*~*~*~*~*

I also have a simple Christmas card to share.
Just a CAS card but boy, it took me a long time to finish coloring the tree.  Layer after layer, waiting for the layers to dry before adding the next one.  I only used Peeled Paint, Vintage Photo and Scattered Straw for the tree. I used yellow glitter pen for the star and a clear glitter pen around the tree. A wash of Weathered Wood for the background and Frayed Burlap for the ground.

Here's a closer look.
This took me 3 nights to finish. :)

Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving week.
See you again soon.
