Lili of the Valley Sneak Peek 5

Before I start with todays cards I would like to tell you about some exciting news I had this weekend, Mary and Andrea aka The Ribbon Girls asked me to join their design team of course I accepted, who wouldn't, the offer came as a complete surprise especially as I have lost a lot of confidence over the past couple of years, so a big thank you to Mary & Andrea.  I cannot wait to get started and to be working with such a talented Design Team.

This is sneak peek no 5 of the soon to be released Lili of the Valley stamp collection this image is called "In The Shed", when I first saw the image I thought it would only be appropriate for mens cards, but after thinking about it, there are lots of us Ladies who love gardening and a shed isn't a male domain any more.

I have used:
Noor Designs Uk - Joy Craft Cutting & Embossing Die -  Butterfly Edge Die
Bird House Die - From Stash

Copics Used:
Shed: V12, V01, V000, V15, Greens: YG25, YG23, YG21, YG17, G21, YG97, YG93, Greys: C05, C03, C01, C00, Blue B41

Now for my Male version:   The papers are from my stash but I know they are from the now discontinued Lili of the Valley "Antibellum",  the sentiment is from Sentiment Sheet 103 - Sweet & Simple.

It's a Boy

Morning, this will be a quick post, yesterday I decided to catalogue my Lili of the Valley stamps, being as I almost have every stamp every released from the first original Jasmine & Oliver Stamps to the newest release its taking rather a long time, but I am sure it will be worth it in the end.

I came across this image, "Cosy Pram", which I don't think has ever seen Ink, so had a break from sorting out to make a quick card.  What with the fabulous Lemoncraft Paper Pad "Tiny Miracles", and the sweet image I didn't think this needed to much embellishment, just a bit of Lace, Ribbon and a few pearls, with a couple of diecuts, well for me thats not much embellishment.

I have coloured the image with Copics, and added some Polychromos Pencils on the Pram, Teddy and Blanket.  I used the Joy Craft Cutting & Embossing Butterfly Border Die which has been cut twice once in white card and once in paper from the Lemoncraft Pad,  I then cut it down into individual butterflies and arranged them around the image, I have also cut 2 Doo Hickey Labels and tucked them behind the image.

Material Used

Copics Used:

Skin E11, E21, E51, E53
Blues: B02, B00, B0000  + Light Pathalo Blue PC Pencil
Browns: E53, E51, E50, + Burnt Siena PC Pencil

Well back to cataloguing who knows what other forgotten stamps I may find.

Have a good day all

Feeling A Tad Grumpy Today

Morning Peeps, before I start I must tell you its not me who is grumpy its the little fairy who is throwing a strop.  This is a Digital Image from Paper Shelter -  A Little Bit Grumpy, she reminds me of Lucy when things don't go her way, I bet you all know a little girl like that.  The sentiment is a wooden Stamp I bought ages ago and I'm not sure where I got it from, I have a few more like this with really brilliant kids saying.

As you can see this weeks obsession is coloured hair, might try Aqua next.  Have managed to use a few more of my enormous stash of Magnolia Papers

Copics were used again to colour her with a touch of Polychromos pencils here and there, think I am getting the hang of Copics again, I must admit I nearly threw in the towel when I first started but glad I persevered.

Lots of embellies and a couple of dies used, I also tucked some, pink tulle, that I found in my ribbon box, behind the image.  The Butterflies  and sentiment were edged with Green Copic pen using the chisel end.

Material Used:

Magnolia Papers from Stash
Sentiment Stamp from Stash
Green Flat Back Pearls from Stash

Copics:
Skin: E11, E21, E51, E50, R20
Hair: R85, R83, R81
Dress: YG17, YG03, G20, R83, R01, RV0000
Wings: BV02,BV01,BV00, BV000

That your lot folks, have a good day

Your a Star - Inspiration for LOTV Facebook April Card Challenge

Well this time I have made sure I get the LOTV  Facebook April Card Challenge right and have used 3 COLOURS, Lilac, Aqua, Ivory.   I do hope you have time to pop over to  facebook to find out more about the challenge and join in with us this month.

For a change I used H20's to colour todays sweet image, and tried to go a bit vintage, I was a bit heavy handed with the distressing of the fabulous Butterfly Border, and couldn't find my Tim Holtzs distressing tool anywhere, so I used the blade of my scissors to distress the papers it could be better but I will persevere with trying to do vintage as I love the look.  A doily cut from Joy Craft Cutting & Embossing Butterflies Dies has been tucked right behind the Aqua backing papers.  The papers are really old Magnolia 6"x 6" sheets, the Ivory lace is from my stash, I have added a little Stardust Stickles to the edges of the flowers.

Here is the recipe with links:

Didn't realise how many embellies I used, just got carried away.

Anyway time to get on with some serious stamping thanks for visiting
