Just Magnolia and Wags ‘n Whiskers DT Cards
The challenge on Just Magnolia this week is Hot and Spicy – now you can interpret this as you wish, either Hot as in summer, weather, colours or Spicy as food, colours, or both together. Don’t forget that you can combine our challenge with any other challenges of your choice as long as the main image on your creation is a Magnolia stamp you will qualify to be in the draw for the fab prize. And remember NO back linking, new projects/cards only please.
I have gone for hot as in Summer but have used red as a Hot colour too. Sweet little Tilda is sitting on her sugar sack keeping cool eating her lolly and waiting for Edwin, how could he resist her looking as pretty as this. I NEVER use copics to colour Tilda but after seeing some of the beautiful cards made by my fellow DT members I thought I would give it a go and I am quite pleased with the result, may have to do this again. The sentiment and Sugar sack are both Magnolia Stamps the Paper is also from Magnolia. The White medium Curly Rose, Red Cherry Blossom and small white tea roses and rose buds are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Now for my other DT Card
This week's challenge is hosted by ubber talented Melanie and her challenge is: Handcrafted Embellishment!!
Get creative and get crafty this week!!
Just remember that you must use a Wags 'n Whiskers stamps to be entered into the drawing for ONE FREE WAGS 'N WHISKERS STAMP OF YOUR CHOICE!!
Back to Distress Inks for this card, I love this sweet Sister Image from Wags-n-Whiskers these little girls are based on Nikki’s 2 girls Zoe and Hannah and it makes me smile every time I look at it. The papers are from DCWV Linen Closet and they are just Yummy!!!!!, the Handmade element on the card are the flowers. The little Adage ticket is by Tim Holtzs.
Thanks for looking

Lili of the Valley Challenge
I cannot tell you how much I have been looking forward to today just to share with you the awesome new images from Lili of the Valley, I don’t know how they do it but each release just gets better and this one really is a stunner, It consists of 4 Girls, 4 boys, 2 babys and 2 Get Well images so everyone is covered here, I must say the Boys images really fill a gap in the market they are perfect. They will be released at Midnight on 1st June and I don’t expect them to stay on the shelves for long, all overseas shipping has been reduced to £3.50 and its free shipping for orders over £25. The Lovely Kind Laila and Lisa from LOTV have also been really generous and given Lili of the Valley Challenge a complete set of stamps to offer as blog candy the candy is only open until Midnight on Saturday 29th May so hurry over to the Lili of the Valley Challenge to enter and be the first to have the complete set.
For this weeks Challenge we also have another of Bev’s awesome sketches and everyone of the DT’s cards features a different Sneak Peek of the new Images.
I think this little baby is my favourite it is so easy to colour but so effective. I have used my copics again and the gorgeous Bearly Mine digital download papers that are my new favourite buy. I have also used the medium Cream Curly Wild Rose, Blue and White Cherry Blossom and blue tea roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. The sentiment which I think is just perfect for this image is by Whiff of Joy .
I am sure you would not mind me showing you another sneak peek, this one is A Get Well Image
I don’t like the look of the Carrot medicine the poorly bunny has to take, bless him. More papers from Bearly Mine Designs and Roses from Wild Orchid Crafts and the image is again coloured with copics. I will be posting lots more sneak peek during the next week. Don’t forget to pop over to the challenge blog and join in the Candy and hopefully join us in this fortnights challenge.

Celebration
By now I should be confident when I have to do a scheduled post but I still worry, so I hope this works. This week on A Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge we are celebrating our 2nd Birthday so the theme is CELEBRATE, we have lots of cards for you to see on the blog including cards from Zoe and Hannah the very talented daughters of Debbie and Nikki who started this great challenge and also from lots of our previous GDT, lots of candy too so don’t wait pop over and join in with our celebration, this week our challenge runs for 14 days so you have plenty of time to create something special.
You all know how daft I can be sometimes and I read the challenge as celebration not celebrate so I thought I would be different and make a Wedding Celebration card doh!!!!Anyway Debbie was kind enough to include it . I have used the beautiful Whiff of Joy Wedding Carriage image and have used Distress Inks to colour. The Papers are by Basic Grey and I have stamped and glittered Stemplglede Grunge Hearts on to the paper then added Glamour Dust to them, the word stamp is LOVE by Penny Black, the blue flower is from Magnolia and the Cherry Blossom and Rose Buds are by Wild Orchid Crafts .
See you tomorrow

Sundays Child x 2
I thought I would have a little me time again today and use some of my stamps that have never seen ink, I think I may have to go and have therapy for this stamp addiction I have, along with my backing paper addiction and my many other craft related addictions :).
I did manage to get a bit of blogging done today but then the Sun came out and the gardening called, it was nice though because I managed to get Mum out in the garden with me and I am sure it did her good, hopefully I should get a whole nights sleep as she even asked to go to bed. Tomorrow I am off to a little Craft Fair in Biggin Hill with my good friend Lin, but I am hoping not to spend much maybe a couple of Nesties!!!!!!!
Anyway down to todays cards, as you can see I am still in love with these fabulous papers from Bearly Mine Designs, Donna was a naughty girl and e-mailed me that she had two more downloads on there well need not tell you what happened. I have used Distress Inks to colour this gorgeous Belles ‘n Whistles Cupcake image here are the colours used.
Flesh – Tattered Rose, Antique Linen, Trousers a mix of Shabby Shutters and Bundled sage, Hat and Apron – Antique Linen Blouse Flowers and Cupcake – Victorian Velvet, Hat Antique Linen. Re-inkers from Crafters Companion.
Martha Stewart Punches were used for the Butterflies and Border, and the swirls are a stamp from Stempleglede which are now available in the UK from Quixotic Paperie Yippeee!! of course the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I am entering this card for the Sketch Saturday Challenge this week, thanks for the lovely sketch.
And here is my second Sundays Child
I am entering this card for the Cute Card Thursday challenge which is another fabulous sketch by my lovely teamie on LOTV Caz thanks hun it was great to work with.
And yet even more Bearly Mine papers (expect to see a lot of these in the next few weeks). The image is from Stampavie I am pleased to say that Crafters Companion will soon have the latest collection for sale on the website. I have again coloured with Distress Inks
Flesh – Tattered Rose and Antique Linen, Ribbon, Blouse and Flowers – Milled Lavender, Trousers – Antique Linen, Dog and Hat – Frayed Burlap
Lots of Glamour Dust added on this one, don’t you just love the colour of that large rose from Wild Orchid Crafts it matches the paper perfectly.
A long post again, hope to get more blog hopping done when I get back from Biggin Hill I really miss you all and your creations. Have a fabulous Sunday

Pretty in Purple
The forecast said it was going to be very warm this weekend, well here it is quite cold and misty so I am hoping the mist will soon disappear and sun come out.
This weeks challenge on Penny Black Saturday Challenge is LOTS OF DOTS:
as always it is up to you what you create....a card...altered art..scrapbook layout etc...the only RULE being that you use at least ONE PENNY BLACK IMAGE... LARGE SENTIMENT OR STICKEROO and at pains of sounding like a long playing record...please do not enter cards with another manufacturer's image and just a small Penny Black sentiment....it isn't fair to all the lovely folks who do abide by the rules.
I have used one of the Older PB images for this card, I love here chubby little knees. She has been coloured with Copics and the spots on her dress have been glittered with Glamour Dust. The gorgeous papers are from Donnas fabulous new Download paper releases from Bearly Mine Designs, there are 3 sets Gingham, Dots and Flowers and every single paper is scrummy. Don’t the Wild Orchid Crafts roses go well with this image.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend

Frantic Friday
JUST MAGNOLIA CHALLENGE
This week we are sponsored by the lovely Tracy of Dies to die for.
Our challenge this week is a sketch provided by Jane. You can rotate and or flip the sketch, as long as we can still see the basic sketch on your creation. Don’t forget that you can combine our challenge with any other challenges of your choice as long as the main image on your creation is a Magnolia stamp you will qualify to be in the draw for the fab prize. And remember NO back linking, new projects/cards only please.
The winner will be chosen by Random Generator next week so to be in the running all you need to do is ensure you have at least one Magnolia image on your card and link your card (not your blog) in Mr Linky and have your card posted by 8pm UK time next Thursday 27th May.
This is one of those cards that I am really really unhappy with, but I just have not got time to do another one, I don’t know what it is about this card UI dislike so much!! but it certainly doesn't do justice to Janes lovely sketch.
I have used magnolia papers and distress inks, I think it must be the colours I don’t like, you know me a real pastel girl, and I also creased the waterproof paper when I was try to shape Tilda. Wild Orchid Crafts flowers have been used as usual, and I cannot get enough of the Martha Stewart Star Punch, I lurve it.
WAGS N WHISKERS CHALLENGE
It is my turn to host the challenge this week so I have chosen the theme "Just Good Friends". You can either make a card using one our images with two characters, or you can just make a card for a friend. I am leaving the challenge open to interpretation. Just remember that you must use a Wags 'n Whiskers stamps.
Distress Inks have been used again for this one and also the obligatory Wild Orchid Crafts roses. The papers are from my scarp drawer and the Martha Stewart half daisy punch has been used for the borders. I think this is my favourite of the new Wags N Whiskers release and that Ice cream looks so scrummy and just what I need up here in the eves where I am absolutely melting.
