Its half term, which means lie ins whoooooop, lazy pj days whoooo, Although I do want to get the kids out and about in some fresh air, I love the Autumn, my fave time of the year, the colours are amazing, and its the official countdown to Christmas :)
I hope you all have a restful week if you are on half term

Today IS the day Leann will share these fab NEW NEW pens with you :) 10AM on Hochanda, I'm all set with a cuppa and record button, might even crack open a packet of biccys

This is another scene from Make it Crafty, this image was the second image I coloured up with these markers and I was blown away how easy the blend on them is.

This image is from Mo Manning, how cute is he! I used more of the vintage tones in this one

This one is another from Delicious Doodles, its one of my fave Christmas images ever, I adore it!

I really hope you have a GREAT Friday

Tomorrow, Tomorrow...

Is only a heartbeat away...........

I am too excited, I mean REALLY!
Did someone say NEW PENS...................
AT 10AM TOMORROW with Leann on Hochanda
Oh Yes indeedy!

3 days in a row, I feel like I have all my ducks lined up lol! Hope you are all well :)

Leann will launch the fantastic NEW Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens over on Hochanda, and there is a discount if you are a Freedom member, and and and........ you wait till you see this babies in action, I mean seriously they are so cool!

The are dual ended, 1 end a fine nib for all your detailed work, the other a glorious brush nib for just about everything else! I'm a bit of a geek, I like the feel of these pens I mean the casing lol, so smooth, and I love the colour. Talking of which, the colours! OMG - Wait till you see them, there are some absolute corkers! the vintage tones are my fave :)

Here are a few samples from me :)
I have used the brush nib only to colour these - Happy Days

This image is from Delicious Doodles. I believe the sentiment is from Whimsie Doodles, although not 100% sure. I love how easy it was to create the sky.

This image is from A day for daisies, and I wanted to add a blue tone to her hair, I love using greys to shadow my pinks too

This scene is from Make it Crafty, I adore the scenes, but I'm always to anxious to colour them, but I just had to with these pens, I was trying to create a sunrise.

Honestly tune in to the shows, you will learn heaps :)

Until next time

I have 2 projects to share today :)
Using the gorgeous Colourista colouring pads, honestly these blew me away, the Glitter and the Foil what an amazing invention for colouring!

The first is a hanging plaque, I brought in a cheap shop and decorated it
I coloured elements from the A4 Colourista Glitter pad and the 5 x 7 Colourista glitter pad, cut them out and shaped the flowers, I used the Colourista colours to colour with and the shine you see in the photo has had no enhancement, it is the pure glitter! The pens blend magically over it! and the bestest bit is the glitter stays put! you are not covered in it from colouring! The more I colour over Glitter the more I become addicted to it!

The second project I have to share today is the fab Foil pad :)
Oh me oh my
The resist from the foil on this I love, its almost like you try to make the foil disappear but it is not having it and shines through, I adore this pad, and wanted to do something a little different than traditonal colouring, so I got out my sparkle pens and washed over the sheet with water then dripped ink directly from the pens onto the sheet, love it!
I just love the effect! I think I will be doing a few more like this, one of my fave things to do with sparkle pens lol

I kept the card basic as the images says it all :)

Thanks so much for popping by today - I really hope you enjoy the hop - don't forget to leave a comment for prizes :) yay

We also have a WATCH PARTY event happening on Facebook - do join up :) its FREE and FUN

Your next stop is my loverly Friend Bianca

Oh Christmas Tree...

How loverly it is to see thee...

I really need to get myself into full Christmas mode! I have been making Christmassy items for MONTHS, but nothing for myself argh! I even have my Christmassy playlist on my Ipod and have been rocking around my Christmas tree in my chair :)

I really loved this card I made, its quick, simple and easy and I have made a little tutorial for you on the Spectrum Noir website on how to create it - Coming Soon :)
I think I may well end up doing a few more like this over the coming months :)
I create the tree branches using aquablend pencils and sparkle pens, the lights I used the baubles from Sara's Luxury Christmas range - Avaliable in the Crafter's Companion store, and I added a little white gel pen to them, matted and layered with card and it makes a real quick card :)

The sparkle pens add a gorgeous touch of glitter (not that this pic picked it up!)

First Biccys - Now Cake...

Gosh I am proper spoiling you this week!
Good job its virtual eh!

Today I have a Verity Rose make to share with you :)
Its a scrummy one too - cake - and not just any cake - CHOCOLATE cake
yes please nom nom
This was a project I made for the fabulous Verity Rose Collection from Crafter's Companion :) you will find all things Verity Rose in the Crafter's Companion Shop
This was so much fun to make, I used centura pearl then made a cake slice from it - I actually made a whole cake - but it was absolutely HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE so I opted for the 1 slice instead! Love that you can actually pop something inside if you want too. For my base I used an upside down paper plate, I covered it in doilies (these ones are from Sara's love range) I then used some coloured centura pearl and some dies from the verity rose collection to decorate.

NOM NOM NOM
I screwed some little bits of coredinations card up to create crumbs

The candle is from a local supermarket pack, and I added a bow to the back

I was so super chuffed with this fork and spoon, they are plastic and I covered them in silver gliding wax, they looked so good! and real! The sentiment and image are both Verity Rose
Isn't she gorgeous! This is Cupcake - A girl after my own heart lol - tea n cake yep!

Fairy Lovelyness...

Its just another manic Monday oooooooooh
but its not because its a Bank Holiday here - yeeeeeeeee
That would mean I am probably still sleeping as this post gets scehduled lol - heck I earn that sleep so much lol - school runs do an arf kick it out of you!

Today I have a sweet fairy to share with you :)
This image is from A Day for Daisies and is pure gorgeousness!
I mean real gorgeousness!
This is also one of my design team makes for Spectrum Noir, if you head on over to the blog :) I'll even show you how to colour this lovely up with Aquablend pencils
http://www.spectrumnoir.com/african-american-skin-with-aquablend-pencils/
I wanted to keep this very clean and simple - I used contrasting kraft card and black card with some of Sheenas whte card embossed with the textures elements rain folder (fast becoming one of my go to's that is)
I coloured her up with aquablends - if you have not tried these I really really rate them, they are so easy to work with and the colours are just delish - you can find out which colours I used over on the Spectrum Noir Blog

Backgrounds with refills...

YEP!
I know, who knew you could create backgrounds using your spectrum noir refills!
Well not me lol
That was until I saw a fab tutorial over on the Spectrum Noir blog from one of my lovely teamies
http://www.spectrumnoir.com/grid-background/
So easy and so clever, I actually had so much fun doing this!
So I placed a piece of sheena's white stampin card down, and picked up some refills, I then squirted colour onto my cardstock, and then once I'd had my fill with that, I squirted the colourless blender in places, which spreads the ink and kind of bleaches it too - total amazeballs - watching it looks like cauliflowers blooming or something nice like that! I then cut them down to squares to fit my card design, see super technical NOT!

A Close up - I'm a nerd but I find this so so cool!

Now for the mega annoying part - I can't find my colour list at all anywhere - GRRRRRRR
SO SO SORRY
This cracking image is from Mo Manning it reminds me of many people! some people who fill their cups with coffee, others tea and the sly (but clever) few who use vodka hehehehe

Have a good day
Until next time

Oh me Oh my...

I have not blogged in FOREVER!
I am so sorry, I have been slowly beavering away behind the scenes with some exciting NEW releases that I can show off to you soon and then trying to crack on with my own personal makes for Birthdays etc... I don't think I have stopped yet lol

But that means I have heaps to share if I can manage to type up some posts :)

It was my loverly hubbys Birthday last week and this was the card I made for him, using this super cute image from Mo Manning, Its also one of my design team cards for Spectrum Noir - I was heavily inspired by the Kalina's Shades of Grey Tutorial over on the Spectrum Noir Website
I do love the monotone look and was really pleased with the end result of this :)
I wanted to keep the card very simple. I used the disress textures embossing folder on white card and inked the edges with a little black ink. I cut a circle from a die and embossed it with the Grande dots folder from Crafter's Companion, I used a tiny little bit of silver gliding wax. The lettering are Die'sire 1 inch letters which you can find on the Crafter's Companion website.

Hiya Monday again

I'm actually hoping I achieve a lot :D fingers crossed

Today I have a card to share using a gorgeous Mo Manning image
I have also done a tutorial for the background of this image - keep an eye out on the Spectrum Noir blog for the tutorial - whilst you are there you will find HEAPS of fantastic tutorials from my teamies for you to try - they really are amazing!
Another card I wanted to keep pretty simple as there is so much colour in the image. I used one of the new Textures elements folders, I think waves and covered it in some distress ink and spray and sparkle - avaliable from Crafter's Companion, I then embossed a piece of black card and covered that in spray and sparkle. I used Black card as I wanted a real contrast.

Verity Rose with No Lines...

Sunday! Oh my gosh can you believe this next week sees us into MARCH!!!!!!!
MARCH?!
Is it me or are these weeks whizzing by!

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK
So I tried the No lines technique - I think I'm pleased lol, however I do think I need a ickle bit more practise!
I have to cards to share today using this technique on both, I used a fineliner around the eyes, and I do believe I stuck my tongue out for concentration lol. I think these two girlies are my fave from the whole Verity Rose Collection!

First up is the beautiful Starlet
Isn't she just gorgeous. To create the no lines effect, I inked her up and stamped her a couple of times on scrap and then stamped her onto smooth card so you could barely see her - I needed my glasses on! ha

I used the embossing folder and cut away the debossed parts, which I then mounted the remains over my coloured image on my card, I also used some of the Starlet accessory dies and stamps and some Sparkle pens to colour those. The papers are from the collection too

She does make me smile :)
I decided to change her colour palette up and use some of the papers that match Cupcake, they all mix and match so well! the flamingos I stamped and cut using the dies.

Verity Rose...

HAPPY FRIDAY

Oh I am so super excited to share this Verity Rose Collection with you
It is amazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzing!
and so full of everything and it all co-ordinates together - oh you'll just love it
Sara Davies will be on Create and Craft tomorrow morning with this stunning range :)
In the meantime you can check out the teams fab makes over on the Facebook pages and for everything else Crafter's Companion head to the shop :)

So whilst I was wasting *cough* hours away on pinterest, I saw this card fold and thought, hmmmmm I love that and have to try it! fab idea :) Thankyou for the tutorial!
http://stampingwithbelinda.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/double-diamond-fold-card.html

This little cutie is called Sunbeam
Do you know what she has her own little collection of Sunbeam goodies too!
yet she still co-ordinates perfectly with every single item in the collection
I coloured her up and mounted her using 3d glue gel onto the embossed centura pearl panel, the sentiment belongs to her collection, as do the shells which I stamped on centura pearl, then I used the matching die - YEP! Matching dies! no more fussy cutting! so you guessed it, these are a total winner in my book! the gorgeous papers are from the collection and I used some matt black card stock

Isn't she just gorgeousness!
