More from Scotland

Everything in Scotland seemed to be at a distance, including these Dotterel.
We had to climb to the plateau on Cairn Lochan at approx. 4000 feet.
It was hard going and took about 7 hours for the climb up and down.

Scotland

This is the Mountview Hotel which is a dedicated birders hotel and a picture of Aviemore station which must have one of the best backdrops around. And finally, we entered the Heatherlea Highland bird-race and along with our two team members, Mike and John, we won with a score of 92 and to prove it here are our certifates and a picture of John with our prize, a tee-shirt each! So now we can say, been there, done that, got the tee-shirt.
