Beautiful Friendship ♥︎

Hello, sweet friends! I hope you're having a blessed week. I'm popping in today to share a card celebrating the gift of friendship. Truly the friendships are the sweetest and loveliest part of the crafty journey. I made this to ensure a crafty pal knows just how much she is treasured by me and all who know her. ♥︎
Nature's Garden is one of the newest Crafter's Companion collections and to say I am enamored would be an understatement. It is endlessly beautiful! The Cottage Window is exquisite in design and I couldn't resist tucking a sweet kitty within it. (The kitty is from the Create-a-Card Fireplace Accessories Christmas set.) The sweet birdie and smallest butterfly are also from the Cottage Window. I love the little added elements that come with it. And oh how pretty are the papers in this collection! So much to love.
The floral arrangement is comprised of the four Stamp and Die flowers in the collection. They are stunning and perfectly represent ever-blossoming friendship love. I used Harmony Quick-Dry Ink Pads for a tonal design. The Doily Border is my new favorite border! I suspect you will see it regularly. ;) I layered two Beautiful Butterflies atop it for a double dose of whimsy.

The Friend sentiment is from the Gemini Grand Decor set, which came with the Limited Edition Gemini Junior that was recently on HSN. My precious hubby blessed me with it, for which I am grateful. ♥︎

Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a sparkly day! ♥︎

Nautical Adventures

Hello, dear friends! I am fluttering back into this crafty community (consistently!) for good, which I have missed so dearly while balancing health situations. I am delighted that Crafter's Companion is keeping me on for another term and blogging will be a larger part of it this time!

I am celebrating with Sara's newest Signature Collection: Nautical!
This fun collection was on HSN last week! For my first card, I drew and cut sailboat layers the best I could as I have such an affinity for shaped cards of this sort! I used an abundance of goodies from the collection, which I will list below. The papers are beautiful, as are the stamps and dies. The charms are amongst my favorites. Truly this collection is a stunner.
For my second card, I showcased one of the beautiful embossing folders. After embossing the Ship's Anchor with watercolor paper, I inked around the anchor with Harmony Ink Pads in Aqua Blues, after which I added a few splashes of water. To highlight the anchor, I inked over it with Precious Metals Midas Ink Pads. To keep the spotlight on the folder, I simply used the lovely coordinating twine to secure my sentiment.

I had a blast creating with this collection and will certainly be playing with it again soon, as there are so many inspiration goodies in the set! It makes me excited for summer adventures. :) Thank you for visiting and I wish you a beautiful day!

Love and Birthday Cards

Happy Tuesday, sweet friends! I hope you're having a beautiful week. I'm popping in to share two sweet little cards with you!♥️

Next Tuesday, March 5th, is the next HSN Craft Day, which means a plethora of new Crafter's Companion goodies will soon be launched!
There are lovely sets of new Circle Stamp and Dies, which I adore for their whimsical nature and versatility. :) For my With Love sample, I paired the new set with Vintage Tea Party paper. I stamped the hearts in gold because you all know I treasure hearts of gold. The sentiment is layered upon a Scalloped Edge Circle Nesting Die.
The pretty frame for my card is actually the decorative panels to the Ornate Circle Accordion Die. I thought it would make an ideal border for a loving sentiment, so I used pearly paper from the Parisian Pearl Card collection. (This is my favorite pearl pink ever!) The frolicking butterflies are from the Flutterby Create-a-Card.
I love birthday cards, so I was excited to play with the Happy Birthday set! I colored up the cupcake with Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers, adding a few peach pearls to the frosting. The papers are from the Sew Lovely paper collection, which I continue to reach for on a regular basis. CC has such pretty papers. :) The sentiment is cut with a gorgeous CC teal pearl paper. There are nine(!) Stamp and Dies, each one perfect for so many occasions.

Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a sparkly day. ♥️

Sweet Sentiment Cards

Hello, sparkly friends! I hope your week is off to a beautiful start.♥︎ I'm popping in with two little cards today.

Tomorrow is the big day on HSN when a plethora of new Crafter's Companion goodies will be released! I am super excited about the new sentiment dies. They are gorgeous and make a lovely card all on their own.
Not surprisingly, one of my favorites is With Love. You know my sappy heart, after all! I adore the elegant curlicues and sweet hearts nestled within. My butterfly is from the Flutterby Create-a-Card set.
Isn't it dreamy? I paired it with the Vintage Doily die from the Vintage Tea Party collection (split in quarters to use as corner detailing) and a Decorative Ribbon die on top from the Sew Lovely collection. Once again I have used sweet papers from Sew Lovely.
Also new is this beautiful way of expressing gratitude. I paired it with one of the loveliest pieces of paper from the NEW Roaring 20's paper pack! There are gorgeous areas throughout every sheet of 12x12 paper. I offset a shadow layer of my sentiment since I used it without the background outline die. I couldn't possibly cover up this gorgeous paper.
Requiring only the simplest embellishing, I cut out a sweet fluttery friend from one of the sheets and added a touch of lace on top. Oh the joy of crafting again.♥︎

Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a sunshiny day. :)

A Crafty Return (and exciting news!)

Hello, sweet friends! I cannot thank you enough for the love you have shown me over the last 8.5 months while I was away. I treasure you and have missed this precious community. It has been a tumultuous year but I am thrilled to return to my beloved crafty space.

My crafty return comes with exciting news. I am honored (and stunned) to be joining the Crafter's Companion Design Team! Color me sparkly! I adore this company for countless reasons that go far beyond the inspiring products they create. It honestly is nerve-wracking to start this journey after being away from crafting for so long, but everyone has been so encouraging. I love this team already.
Next week is a huge week for Crafter's Companion, with a plethora of new releases! Sara (the creative mastermind behind CC) will be on HSN throughout the day on November 6th to pique your creativity in the loveliest ways. It's hard to choose favorites but Enchanted Forest may win with the most magical goodies!
Along with that bountiful collection, there are also necessities such as new nesting dies. I have used the Scalloped Circles to make a card in the sweet cathedral window technique. Isn't it just darling? They are often placed like a square, but I've tilted mine and layered Scalloped and Stitch Edge Squares beneath.

The gorgeous paper is from the Sew Lovely collection, a recent launch that I love! The beautiful sentiment is from a previous CC Subscription Box, which comes your way each month with a new theme/technique. This stamp is from the Stamp & Die box, which I have anchored with the new Scalloped and Stitch Edge Hearts. My sunshiny solid paper is their dreamy pearlescent luxury cardstock.

I am elated to be back to the crafty world and look forward to sprinkling your blogs with sweet sunshine. I have missed encouraging you and being blessed by your masterpieces. Thank you for your patient love and for never, ever giving up on me. Sparkly hugs to all!

Magic of the Moment

Hello, precious friends! I hope you're having a lovely weekend. I'm sharing a soft and sweet encouragement card on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog today.♥︎
A crafty friend of mine is a tough stretch, so I created this card to encourage her to embrace every tiny bit of magic she can find. (We do make the most wonderful friends in this community, don't we?) How I treasure these beautiful Wild Orchid Crafts flowers! Every card is an indoor garden for the special recipient.♥︎
I combined pink and white blossoms, which sparkle with a touch of Glamour Dust paint. A vintage crown pin (on special!) is nestled within. The dreamy papers are from Maja Design's Sofiero collection.♥︎
White Cotton Lace adorns the sides, while White Net Lace ruffles across my floral arrangement.♥︎  The lace floral corners are from my stash. I wanted to add softness to my bouquet without adding leaves, so I tucked in a few lace roses (inspired by my sweet teamie Evgenia!).
I pray this is a ray of sunshine in my friend's life. Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a beautiful day!♥︎

Congratulations

Hello, treasured friends! I'm posting on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog today, sharing a celebratory card for a precious new baby. ♥︎
Soft and sweet is my favorite combination for baby cards (and all cards!), so I incorporated several Wild Orchid Crafts trims for supreme sweetness. ♥︎ The darling papers are from Pion Design's Theodore and Bella.
Ruffle trim flutters along the bottom, which I've topped with a gorgeous flat-back pearl sting. Up top is a pretty eyelet trim, which I truly adore. The curved border is a Marianne Design die. For extra ruffles, I crinkled up white vintage seam binding for my primary floral arrangement. ♥︎
Have you seen the gorgeous metal embellishments in the store? I fell in love with the heart charm set (naturally!) and adhered one with pink Divine Twine. ♥︎ It's a lovely touch of pink and gold to my neutral palette card.

Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a beautiful day! ♥︎

Sweet Pink Birthday

Hello, sweet friends! After a bout with the dreaded flu bug, I am back in action and will be sprinkling your blogs with love later today! I hope you are healthy and happy.♥︎ I am posting on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog, sharing a sweet pink birthday card.

Blossoming in love for the special day, my bouquet is filled with roses, sweetheart blossoms, rosebuds, and gorgeous tulips. Oh the beauty of WOC.♥︎
I combined Pink Mist and Mixed Pink flowers for a variety of pink shades, nestled alongside pure white beauties. ♥︎ The dreamy papers are from Maja Design's Sofiero collection. I kept the framed design mostly open because it's just so lovely.. I envision it as the butterflies dancing around a sweet scene, with darling rosebuds sprinkling atop the birthday girl.
The bow is made with lovely Pink Tulip seam binding and my sentiment is trimmed with White Net Lace. (Yes, I have an affinity for doing that.) ♥︎ The pretty frame is Tutti Design's Butterfly Oval, which makes my heart happy.
Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a beautiful day! ♥︎

Joy and Laughter

Hello, sweet friends! Happy New Year! I'm posting today on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog, sharing a sweet little card. I adore WOC purples so much that I couldn't resist making a card to coordinate with my previously posted tag.♥︎
The pastel lilac Cherry Blossoms pair so beautifully with the deeper purple of the English Rose and Gypsophila. The largest flower is the stunning Chelsea Rose, one of my favorite additions to the WOC store last year.♥︎ My papers are from LemonCraft's Violet Silence.
Sweetheart Blossoms (and Minis!) trail up the side, while a sparkly Bead Berry Spray adorns the bottom. Nestled within are the most darling leaves, touched with sweet pink love.♥︎
A heart crowns my Anna Griffin sentiment, as elegant as it is heartfelt.  The pretty frame is from Sue Wilson's Lauren collection, which was a beautiful gift from a sweet friend. All of my flowers have been trimmed in Glitter Paint for sparkle.

Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a lovely day!♥︎

Snowy Christmas

Hello, sweet friends! I hope your week is off to a sparkly start! I'm posting today on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog, sharing a snowy Christmas inspiration.

I used Foamiran for my poinsettia, which has a lovely soft effect; perfect for a peaceful Christmas. :) For a festive pop of red, my poinsettia is centered with a red bead berry spray.♥️
Cascading from either side are babies breath fabric flowers. Their wispiness and pearly elegance make my heart dance! Although the white option is currently out of stock, the pale blue is available and would be stunning for wintry Christmas creations.♥️
I created a ruffly lace snowdrift, lined with my favorite flat-back pearl string, before nestling in a Wycinanka chipboard Christmas tree. Self-adhesive pearls were sprinkled atop.♥️The sentiment is from My Craft Spot (no longer in business), which is cut out with a Spellbinders banner die and trimmed with lace.
Tucked within my floral arrangement are pearl snowflakes and frosted berries. The sparkling iciness of winter is magical.♥️The pretty papers are from Pion Design's The Night Before Christmas.
Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a beautiful day. :)♥️

Beautiful Friend

Hello, treasured friends! I am posting a friendship card today on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog, which features Foamiran flowers. This is my first time working with them and I enjoyed it immensely.♥︎
For my first try, I used Rosy Owl-Heart Flower dies with pink and purple foam. I am eager to experiment with coloring white foam, but I do love these vibrant shades of pink and purple. They are pure happiness.♥︎ My chippies are from Wycinanka, while my papers are from LemonCraft's Tiny Miracles. Oh how dreamy they are. ♥︎
The large flowers are centered with white and pink bead berry sprays, while the smaller flower nestled between them is centered with pearl stamens. I incorporated lovely flowers of pink, purple, and sunshiny yellow into my arrangement.
Tucked within my flowers are my favorite leaves... the light green and baby pink combination makes for the sweetest foliage possible.♥︎ Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a beautiful day!

Celebrating Love

Hello, precious friends! I hope you're having a beautiful day. I will be visiting you this week, which fills me with endless joy. I'm popping in with a quick post, as I am on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog with a sweet little love card. ♥︎
Blue and pink is one of my (many) favorite color combinations, so I topped my Maja Design sky blue paper with sweet pink and pristine white. Wild Orchid Crafts pinks are irresistible. ♥︎ My chipboard sentiment is from Wycinanka.
Gorgeous Pink Mist Cottage Roses called to me for this occasion. They are exceptionally beautiful, especially for a romantic card. Nestled amongst them are a variety of flowers, blossoming in love. ♥︎ Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms are too adorable for words, so I tucked in a few.
A stunning Filigree Metal Corner brings a touch of shiny elegance, while Pink Tulip vintage seam binding adds a ruffle of softness. ♥︎ The darling butterfly is a Sue Wilson die.

Thank you for visiting and I wish you a beautiful day! ♥︎

Shine Like the Stars

Hello, dear friends! This will be short and sweet today, as my weekend began in the hospital and I am quite sleepy! I am grateful to share that I am on the proper path to finally heal. Thank you for sticking with me.♥︎

I am posting on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog today, where I combined a simpler card design with my first use of 'cookie cutter' metal dies. The gorgeous Crafter's Companion Flutterby frame cuts from within, which caused me to pause a few times to situate myself. ;)
My encouragement card features stunning Autumn Blossoms, fluttering atop the prettiest leaves and ruffles of seam binding.♥︎ The papers are from Maja Design's Vintage Romance.
The amazing Anna Griffin sentiment granted me another opportunity to use the pearl stars I love so much! Aren't they beautiful?♥︎
White embellishments are pure magic in their sweet elegance.♥︎
Thank you for visiting and I wish you a sparkly day!♥︎
