Talking of Gorjuss Girl stamps, today I have a Gorjuss Girl card to share with you featuring Daisy.

Delightful Daisy

Helloooooooooooooo!!  Did you all have a good Jubliee Weekend?

First of all I must say thank you to all of you who came and stopped by my table last weekend - it was soooooooooooo lovely to see you all :)  Thankfully I had managed to finish all my cards and here is one of them -

For this card I used the Gorjuss Girl clear stamp set called Daisy which was coloured using Copics. The background paper is Magnolia (Pink Magic Bubbles) which I stamped and embossed using a white pigment inkpad and white detail  embossing powder using different stamps from the Hobby Art Just For You clear stamp set.

Here's a closer look at Daisy for you.

The markers I used are as follows -

Skin E000, E00 E02, R20
Hair C1, C7, C9
Flowers – Y21, YG23
Clothes – BG90, BG93, BG96, C1, C7, C9, Y21, W1, W3
Background – W1, W3, W5, BG90, G40, G82

Other products used and are available from The Glitter Pot are -
Nestabilities  - Labels Ten
Magnolia Die – DH004Leaf and Swirl
Martha Stewart – Deep Edger Punch/Floral Vine and Monarch Butterfly
Ribbon and self-adhesive pearls and crystals
Stardust and Tiara glitter glue

On Wednesday I popped out to The Craft Barn to pick up my products to use for their Extravaganza Weekend and you'll never guess what stamps I am using .............................................................................................................  GORJUSS GIRLS!!!!!  LOL!!!  They are different images to what I was using at The Glitter Pot though :)

It looks as if there will be lots of Gorjuss Girl cards appearing here for a little while ;)

Merry Christmas!!!

Hi everyone!  I just want to take the opportunity to wish everyone who stops by a very Merry Christmas and to thank all of you who have become followers and an extra special thank you to those of you who have left me comments this past year - I do so enjoy reading them!

So sorry that I haven't been blogging as much recently - I'll try to do better next year!!  I've still got loads of Christmas cards to show you so you may find that I post a few of them up over the next couple of weeks!

This particular card was one that I made for The Craft Barn's September Extravaganza using one of the fantastic Gorjuss Girls stamps!  The background around the stamp was created using a Katzelcraft flourish stamp and a Stampendous snowflake and for the background of the card I used the Papermania Snowflake embossing folder along with that same flourish stamp.  The snowflake embellishments are a mixture of a Woodware snowflake punch, a Martha Stewart Glacial Snowflake punch and a Marianne Design Creatables die.

The image as you've probably already guessed was coloured using Copic markers and the background around her was done using my Watercolour Resist technique with the markers. (See the December issue of Craft Stamper!)  All products used on this card came from The Craft Barn.

Have a great Christmas everyone and once again thank you for following my blog and leaving me wonderful comments - I truly appreciate all your support.

A Christmas Bumble Bee!

Hi guys!  This is one of the cards I had on display at The Craft Barn's Christmas Extravaganza Weekend using the Bumble Bee Gorjuss Girl!  I decided that if I coloured her in non Bumble Bee colours she could then double up as a fairy for Christmas which I think works quite well!!

For the card itself I used a white Pearlescent Bazzill panel which I embossed using a Papermania Snowflake embossing folder through my Cuttlebug, tore some Nitwit Christmas background paper and then stamped and embossed the Katzelcraft Flourish stamp around the edges of the card using a silver inkpad and silver detail embossing powder. Then I edged the panel using a red Copic marker.

For the Gorjuss Girl panel - I stamped her with Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto smooth white card (that The Craft Barn sell for Copics) and used my Deckle Edge Nestabilities Rectangles to die-cut her. I stamped and embossed snowflakes around her using Versamark and Crystal embossing powder and coloured her with Copic markers.  The words (from Woodware's Must Have Christmas Words clear stamp set) were stamped using Tuxedo Black Memento.  The snowflakes were done using the Martha Stewart Glacial Snowflake punch and the self-adhesive 5mm pearls were coloured using a red Copic marker.

Here's a closer look at the Gorjuss Girl so you can see the colouring a bit better.

Copics used were -
Skin - E11, E00, E000 and R20 for blush
Hair - 100, C9, C7 and C1
Dress and socks - R59, R37, R35, R32, YG95 and YG91
Wings - B00 and B000
Ground and background - W3, W1, BG10 and B000

All materials used are available from The Craft Barn. By the way some of the Copic colours I've listed are only available in the Copic Sketch markers which The Craft Barn now sell but haven't yet put online.
