Look at me...............I'm back again with another post!!! It won't last - lol!!!
Today I thought I'd share a card that I created a lot earlier in the year for my demo at The Glitter Pot before they closed their doors - do you ever get the feeling that I spell 'death' to our local craft shops!!! (They all close on me!!!!)
Anyway here is one of the cards that I did for this demo using a fabulous Penny Black cling stamp called Divine for the main image. The supporting imagery came from a Penny Black clear stamp set called Sprigs and the little words and butterfly are from another Penny Black clear set called Snippets which is just full of really handy small sized font words - just perfect for squeezing into little spaces!!
The colouring was done using a combination of Copics and Distress Markers - I just love the texture that can be created by combining them.
For added interest I cut up a Flourish die by Penny Black and glued little pieces of it where I felt I needed some decoration and that's it!!
See you next time.............

Christmas Spectacular
Well it seems that we are fast approaching the last weekend of September which means that it is nearly time for The Glitter Pot's Christmas Spectacular Weekend (28th and 29th September) where there will be 9 demonstrators showing you all sorts of different card making techniques.
I for one will be there along with Jenny Mayes, Julie Hickey, Gilly Haigh, Alison Moore, Alexandra Kamann, Jane Gill, Jackie Huckstepp and Paula Pascual so there will be lots going on!!
Above are the cards that I will have on display. I have taken a break from Colouring With Copics and will be demonstrating with IndigoBlu's FlitterGlu and Flakes - just LOVE this product. The glue makes gilding so easy.
So if any of you are planning on visiting The Glitter Pot next weekend I hope you'll stop by my table and say 'Hello'.

A Day At The Glitter Pot
So tomorrow I will be at The Glitter Pot all day teaching a couple of classes based on Copics. So in honour of that I thought I'd show you a card today that I made when I was demoing Copics last month there.
The background paper is a double-sided one by Imaginisce called Frilly Floral and as you can see I punched one of the panels with my favourite Martha Stewart edging punch - Floral Lace. The flowers were made using EK Success Retro Flower punches - I just love these and use them all the time!
The main image is called Kira With Flowers and I stamped her with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and coloured her with my Copics. The wording was taken from my Fancy Flourishes stamp sheet and I used Diamond and Platinum glitter glue to add some sparkle to the card and image.
COPIC COLOURS
Basket - E47, E43, E31 and E50
Flowers and leaves - Y15, RV25 and RV21
Clothes - R37, R35 and R32
RV25, RV23 and RV21
Grass - YG67, YG63 and G40
Background - B02, B00, R00, BG000 and 0
All materials used came from The Glitter Pot.
For those of you that have booked on the classes..............I'll see you tomorrow!! Personally I can't wait to see how the new premises are shaping up as it has been a few weeks since I was there now.

I don't know if you have heard but this week The Glitter Pot moved into their new premises and they are now located in Burgess Hill. Click here for the proper details! As everything is very new at the moment I will be demoing there tomorrow (Saturday) instead of taking my classes. So if anyone fancies stopping by to check out their new venue please stop by my table and say 'Hello'! I will be demoing with the Copic markers from 10am-4pm. That is of course if I haven't melted by then!!

How Long Does It Take To Put Up A Christmas Tree??
Hi Guys. You won't believe this but yesterday it literally took me all day to put up and decorate our Christmas tree!! This year we went ahead and finally bought a new tree as our old one was well and truly past it. Last year we had a real one but this year with all the upheaval that is currently going on with our extension we decided to have an artificial one for this year. So about a week ago we went out and chose a new tree. Well yesterday when I opened up the box I discovered that you have to assemble this tree branch by branch so that was my first challenge!! Actually I've got to say that once I'd sorted out all the individual branches it was quite easy to do - it just took a long time spreading them all out as I was going! My next challenge was putting the lights on it - I always find this the hardest bit as I either have too many lights at the top and run out before I get to the bottom of the tree or I find I haven't got enough lights at the top of the tree and have loads at the bottom so it normally takes a couple of attempts for me to get it just right!! Anyway about four attempts later the tree finally had it's lights on and then when I stepped back and looked at the tree I realised that this tree required thicker tinsel than what we normally use on our trees so it was then a mad dash to the shops to try and find some thick silver tinsel. About 90 minutes later I was back home armed with my tinsel and could then begin decorating it. My final challenge was then threading up some new baubles that we bought last year so that I could actually hang them on the tree which was a really fiddly job!! Anyway tree is now decorated complete with a couple of presents under it too. I did take some photos of the tree which I will load up so you can see it but unfortunately the photos that I took don't do the tree justice at all as it is far prettier in real life!! So with all this tree decorating I just didn't get chance to blog yesterday!
As you already know I was at The Glitter Pot on Thursday teaching a couple of classes and I had such a nice day there so a huge thank you to the ladies who were on the classes for making it such a pleasant day. One of the ladies brought along a card for my competition and also presented me with a present at the end of the day for under my tree!! I won't embarrass the lady in question by naming her but she knows who she is and once again I send a huge thank you to her as it really made my day. Whilst I was there I badgered the rest of the ladies on my class too about sending me a card so I'm hoping that they too will enter the competition. I have had a few cards turn up for this and it has been soooooooo nice opening them up and seeing your wonderful creations! And just before I departed The Glitter Pot I was presented with another present for under my tree - this time from the owners. Then when I got home I found a couple of cards waiting for me too so all in all I had a wonderful day and really felt in the Christmas spirit!

A Sneaky Peek!!
Tomorrow I am off to The Glitter Pot where I am teaching all day so here is a little taster of what we will be doing in the afternoon. This cute little bear is by Penny Johnson and I just LOVE it!! Both classes are Copic marker based and there are still some spaces left so if anyone lives close enough and fancies forgetting about Christmas for a few hours(as neither of the classes are Christmas based) then please do come along. It really would be lovely to see you.
I've decided to move the details of my Christmas Card competition to the top of my sidebar so that my recent posts are more clearly visible. Fear not the competition is still open - you just need to click on the DVD picture to bring up all the details. So far I have only had a few cards come through the post and I really would like lots, lots more so please do enter! Besides at the moment you stand a really good chance of winning!! My aim is to have a room full of beautiful handmade cards so please do join in.

How Cute Are These??
Morning Guys. Just a relatively quick post from me today as I still have loads of prep to do for tomorrow. Meanwhile I thought you might like to see a sneaky peek of one of the cards I will have with me at The Glitter Pot tomorrow. Aren't they sweet?? They are from one of the Popcorn Bear un-mounted stamp sets that The Glitter Pot sell and have been coloured using Copics and of course I'll be showing exactly how I achieved this effect all day tomorrow so if anyone feels like stopping by and having a chat I'll be pleased to see you!!
(Pssstttt........by the way don't tell Bryan or Carolyn but I have actually stamped out multiple images of them for myself as they may well appear on some of my Christmas cards this year!!)

Busy As Usual!
Today I have been busy printing out project sheets for my classes tomorrow at The Glitter Pot. Apparently both the morning and afternoon classes are full so I will be in for a hectic day!! I will have a day filled with cuttlebugging as in the morning we are making cards using the Cuttlebug and Coredinations cardstock along with some sanding blocks and in the afternoon we will be double embossing using 2 different embossing folders in the Cuttlebug.
I must admit that I don't get the most out of my Cuttlebug ordinarily, as I can go for weeks without using it! So I really enjoyed creating the cards that I made for tomorrow as it made such a nice change for me. There is still lots of stamping involved too though!! I will load up the cards next week sometime for you to see.
In just over a months time I will be back at The Glitter Pot again - this time on a Friday (24th July). I know that there are currently still places available for this so if anyone fancies a day, a morning or an afternoon of crafting you know what to do! Click here for more details.
Meanwhile I must get back to finishing my latest project for Craft Stamper. Can you believe that we are already working on the October issue - it means it won't be long before the Christmas stamps come out to play!!

Still Busy!!
Morning everyone. Still really busy here trying to get those stamp sheets completed so this will be a short post again!
My thanks to everyone who posted a comment on My Secret - they were all really helpful. Once I have got my act together a bit more I will sort something out regarding a 'giveaway' so do check back in the next couple of weeks!
**********************
I haven't posted up any cards for the last couple
of days so finally here is the other Magenta one that we did on the shrink plastic class at The Glitter Pot.
By the way don't forget that next Saturday I will be demonstrating shrink plastic at The Glitter Pot's Spring Spectacular so if anyone has any problems regarding shrink and lives close enough to Scaynes Hill do pop by and I will do my best to help you!
Right then. Back to those designs...........................

Magenta Flower
Hi guys. Thanks so much for those lovely comments that you left me on yesterdays post. It absolutely makes my day when someone bothers to respond to my posts so thank you!
The card I've uploaded today was one that I
made last year for a shrink plastic class I took at The Glitter Pot. The little images at the base of the card were stamped onto frosted shrink plastic, coloured in and then shrunk to add as embellishments. Both the main image and the little shrunk images were from an un-mounted stamp set by Magenta. The flourishes you can see are from a clear set by Hero Arts and the wording is from Francoise's Tiny Phrases clear stamp set all of which can be bought from The Glitter Pot.
I hope you like it!
