Easter Sunday

We had a very fun Easter this year! The morning started with the Easter bunny paying a visit to our home leaving baskets for Laney and Ellie. Then we went to have breakfast at Br and Rachel's home. They cooked up some really good pancakes, bacon and homemade strawberry preserves. Afterwards we went home to let Ellie nap. Meanwhile I took a nice hot bath while Justin and Laney went on a bop bop ride. (the mini bike) Then after getting all dolled up we went to my parents for a kid crazed afternoon! My parents had 14 of their 22 grand kids together. We had an egg hunt and hid over 200 eggs! The kids had so much fun. Then we had our traditional leg of lamb Easter dinner (my favorite meal of the WHOLE year) and hung out watching the kids play. It was so fun to listen to them interacting and playing. Justin had them all playing relay races and double dutch jump rope!

Thanks Mom and Dad for hosting a wonderful Easter!

A day at the park and a few cute pics

Here are some fun pictures we took from last weekend. It was beautiful weather and we enjoyed it outside!

Another birthday celebration

On Laney's actual Birthday we took her to Build-A-Bear. She had the best time with this. She picked out a cute pink bunny with Daisy's on it. I always let Laney pick what she wants for dinner on her Birthday and this year she picked breakfast for dinner. Justin bought her some pink flowers and brought them home to her after he got home from work. He is honestly the best Daddy ever! He loves his girls so much and makes them feel so special. She got to open one more gift from us that I saved for her real birthday. We bought her her very first bikini! She has been asking for one, so I figured it would be a fun gift for her. She also got a little porcelain girl holding a #4. She loved this special little gift to keep on her nightstand with all her other treasures. Laney, we love you so much! Never forget it! Happy Happy 4th Birthday!

My Laney Bug is 4!!!!

It's hard to believe that we have been parents to our funny girl for 4 years now! Laney has just grown into this loving, fun, energetic, sweet, thoughtful little lady. This year after much thought, she chose to have a vintage Barbie party. It was so fun for me to decorate this party. I made a barbie doll cake, chocolate cupcakes, pink lemonade, white and pink animal cookies, black, pink and white pom poms, banners, a barbie pinata, jumper and a big photo #4 of pictures of Laney growing up. Whew! IT was adorable and I have to say thanks to Erica one last time for ALL the help she gave me a few days before. Enjoy the pictures!
