That's all from me today.  Enjoy your day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Tea For Two by Conie Fong

Hi peeps!  We had such lovely weather last week.  It's finally getting warmer and the sun is shining.  There are two beautiful trees in full bloom and some pretty ornamental grasses and shrubs right outside my apartment.  I am surrounded by scenic beauty.

My DT card features Conie Fong's gorgeous "Tea For Two" image, found here:

I just love this image because it evokes such happy memories.  I drew the serving tray.  The image is coloured with both Copic markers and Polychromos pencils.  All the flowers are handmade.

I made this card for Conie's current monthly Facebook challenge (theme:  Female/Mothers). Why not join in the fun?
Conie also has a Colouring Only challenge.

Thank you for visiting.  I sincerely appreciate it.  Hugs, Lori xx

Tender Blue by Ching-Chou Kuik

A very Happy New Year to you!  This is my first DT card this year which I made for Ching-Chou Kuik's brand new 2020 monthly Facebook challenge. The theme is "New Year, New Beginnings or New Crafty Stash".
What better way than to start off with a new birthday card, right?  This stunning image is "Tender Blue", found here:
Items for "New Crafty Stash" include the flower die, the vine die, the gold button and coloured seashells.

As always, I used my usual mediums (Copic markers and FC Polychromos pencils) to colour this lovely image.  I made the flower and the pinwheel bow. I cut the frame twice to make it longer than its original size and pieced it together.  And, I added cheesecloth under the seashells.

In addition to a Facebook challenge,Ching-Chou also has a challenge blog.  There are some wonderful images that you can win if you enter either one.

That's all from me.  Thank you for stopping by, and I hope to see you soon.  Hugs, Lori xx

Materials and Tools Used

Foliage:  Memory Box "Small Marianna Vine" die
Flower:   Spellbinders "Succulent and Mum Flower" dies
Frame behind sentiment:  Spellbinders "Inverted Scalloped Square" dies

Pearls, cheesecloth, Prills and ribbon are from my stash.
