How to Draw Daisies You Tube Tutorial by Conie Fong

Hi friends!  I made this card a couple of months ago before I had major surgery but I didn't have time to post it then.  Conie Fong has a You Tube video tutorial channel where she shows you how to draw this lovely image, along with some other fabulous simple images by her.

Conie converted this image to JPG format for the Design Team members so that they can colour it and show you how pretty and cheerful it is.  Here is my DT card:

I used Copic markers to colour this lovely image.  The sentiment is computer generated.  If you would like to learn how to draw this image, you can then share it on Conie's Facebook group called Draw with Conie.

Thanks for visiting.  Until next time, Lori xx

Rose by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps

Hi friends!  I hope you are all well.  Two weeks ago, northern United States experienced a dangerous arctic blast.  I nearly fell out of my bed when I woke up one morning, checked my phone, and saw that the temperature was -20 degrees.  Yikes!  Luckily, the temperatures warmed up considerably.

This week's theme on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog is:

LACE and/or FLOWERS

These are two of my favourite embellishments and so I included both on my card.  I used the gorgeous Rose image by The Paper Shelter Digital Stamps.

I used Copic markers to colour this beauty.  The lace was originally white but I dyed it yellow with Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels.  The flowers are handmade.

If you would like to see more inspiration by the other Design Team members, please visit The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.  While there, how about joining in the fun?  There are some wonderful prizes to be won.

Thank you for visiting.  Have a lovely day.  Hugs, Lori xx

Garden Bouquet by Conie Fong

Greetings friends!  For those of you who celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday, I hope it was an enjoyable and happy day.

Today, I am sharing my inspirational DT card featuring Conie Fong's gorgeous "Garden Bouquet" image.  This lovely image also comes with a second image called "Bootiful Bouquet".

I coloured the image with Copic markers and Polychromos pencils.  Then, I decided to fussy cut the image.  It's been raining and dark all day today so it was a bit hard to take a good photo.  The card does look considerably better IRL.

I thank you for stopping by.  It's very appreciated.  Have a lovely weekend.
Hugs, Lori xx

Purple Balloon by Ching-Chou Kuik

Hello everyone!  Hope your weekend was nice.  My weekend was rather trying because we had an ice storm on Friday, then quite a bit of snow, and three power outages, all on the same day. Crazy! The ice storm covered every single branch.  It was incredibly beautiful.  When the sun finally came out for a bit, everything was sparkling.  Afterwards, it snowed.  What a breathtaking sight!  A winter wonderland, for sure.

My DT card today features the lovely "Purple Balloon" image by Ching-Chou Kuik, found here:
