Hi there,

Today's card is for the colorQ challenge from my friend Arielle - go and check out her gorgeous inspiration photos!!! Just eye-candy-yummyness!

And for this week I decided to stay away from my beloved PTI stamps - that was hard. I still haven't had the time to just sit down and play with them ***sniff***.. But I got two new sets from Claire from Waltzingmouse Stamps and I LOVE them. And Claire is the sweetest person ever, that's for sure.

Back to the card - I used a total of 4(!) different stamp sets from 3 (!!!) different companies, yeah to me! ;) And yes, I gave up and used one from PTI :) - couldn't resist. Can you say I'm addicted? NOOOOO!
The layout is from CCEE#1034 - I think I will used this one a lot in the future.

Thank you for stopping by today and stay tuned - tomorrow I have a card (actually 2) that will meet a lot of challenges ....
Hugs Tanja

cqc#46 - Fabulous Day

look at this inspiration photo from Arielle's colorQ challenge!!!!
When I first saw it I fell in love. LOVE this soft and warm colors - reminds me of my Mom baking in the kitchen on a spring morning ... *happy sigh*.... No, I'm okay - not enough sleep, but well :)

Yeah, not enough sleep because I sat at my desk literally for hours, padding my goodies from PapertreyInk and others too and starting to play along with some stamps, flipping through some magazines for some more inspiration, even strolling the internet for some more ideas and then I sat at my desk and ..... nothing - I had a ton of ideas but nothing happened!!!! A good friend of mine told once that I should start just playing with the things and not just focussing on the result. I think I will start trying that right away, Arielle!

But now to today's card.
I dry embossed the vintage cream cardstock with one of the embossing plates - from PTI. I always can't remember their names. I think I need to go figure the out and then add them to their bags ;)..
The scallops were made with the Big Scallop Die from PTI. I stamped the flower from "Up and away" (PTI) in each scallop and added a little bit of stickles. The sentiment is from "Signature Greeting" and the little background from "School Time" stamp set (all PTI).

So, gotta go - laundry is calling my name :::rolleyes:::. Since we are back in Germany the laundry here on the Hartmann ranch has nearly doubled due to the fact that rainy days make mudd and boys LOVE mudd, got me?

Thank you for stopping by today
Hugs Tanja

ink: baja breeze, basic black, Versamark

others: ribbon from my stash, embossing plate (?), orange stickles, rhinestone stickers Kaiser Crafts

SOTC - christmas in summer

Hi there,

the kids are in bed and hubby and I want to enjoy the evening/ the quiet-time so just another short post today.

After the move and finding most of my supplies I re-started to participate in the swaps from our sisterhood - girls, you are the best friends a girl can have. Even with 4000 miles between us :))

This month theme was something like christmas in summer and this is what I came up with ...
I'm still on the lookout for some nice and pretty simple ideas for cardmaking because I'll start giving classes beginning by the end of September (boy, wish me luck - still not sure if I'm the right person for this :)). So, whenever you have created something that would fit in this category please drop me a line - it would be very much appreciated :)

Thank you for visiting today - have a great weekend y'all
Hugs Tanja

cqc#44 - another cas card

Hi there,

Gotta run - appointments with hair dresser and back-to-school shopping with the kids (rolleyes)

WOJ - so cute

Hi there,

I was in a need of a birthday card for a friend here in Germany and I wanted to show her what I'm doing in my leisure time (what the heck is it???). And I wanted to ink up some more goodies :) I love the cuties from Whiff of Joy.

And I had so much fun trying to figure out how to use the Copics again. I still need to learn how to shade, right?
I even colored one of the flowers in yellow with my Copics :))

Do you know the feeling? You are sitting on your desk searching for the right paper to match your inspiration and you just can't cut into your new paper stack? Just sitting there and enjoying the paper - how silly is that? Well, that's me - exactly. So I figured I need to work on this issue. So for this card I just grabbed the "Garden Variety" from Basic Grey and used as much of it as I could ... at least tried to :)

A huge thank you to all you folks who are visiting me here and leaving comments - that is so truly appreciated.
Hugs Tanja

Hi there,

we ares still buried under tons of things that need to get packed away.... But well, it's kind of an early christmas - you find things you've never known you had 'em ;).

I managed to sit down and play a little bit with some goodies that I couldn't touch in the US anymore before the move. Actually I'm playing the whole week long already but still haven't found a good place to take the pics ..... (insert rolleyes here).
