I'm trying to use up the ripened bananas in my house and came up with the idea to add in walnuts to make a Banana Walnut Chiffon Cake!

Kueh Kodok (Deep Fried Banana Balls) 炸香蕉丸

Kueh Kodok (Deep Fried Banana Balls) 炸香蕉丸 is a popular snack commonly sold at Malay stalls. My aunt used to make these yummy snacks for tea-break whenever I stayed over at their house during the school holidays in my younger days.

Banana Walnut Cake

Banana and nuts are one of the perfect match when it comes to cakes. I baked a batch of Banana Walnut Cake using Chobani's greek yogurt that has less than 0.5% fat and Medella's Organic Premium Coconut Cooking Oil over the weekend and it was well received by the family.

Peanut-Butter Banana Smoothie

After making the Nutella Peanut-Butter Banana Smoothie previously, I decided to try making another smoothie without adding nutella as I was curious how it would taste.

Greek Yogurt Banana Walnut Bread - Chobani Greek Yogurt

This super healthy Greek Yogurt Banana Bread is made without any addition of butter or oil.

Yes, you heard me right...No butter or oil.

Wait a minute! Wouldn't the cake be dry? On the contrary, it is not.

This is yet another loaf cake I've made adding Chobani Greek yogurt to give it the moistness and softness I love like the cake here and here, sans the butter .

Frozen Strawberry Banana Yogurt Cupcakes - Chobani Greek Yogurt

This is another icy cold dessert made using fresh fruits and Chobani Yogurt. Instead of the usual popsicle molds or ice cream tubs, I've made them into small ice cream cupcakes! These will surly be a hit during this festive season!

Banana Walnut Bread

Banana and Walnut...one of my favourite combo in a cake. This is another yummy cake baked for gathering with friends during the long Singapore Jubilee weekend.

This is a very simple loaf cake. It's basically a mix wet ingredients to dry ingredients cake and involves minimal washing.

Banana Chiffon Cake

What do you do with ripened bananas? I used them to make a Banana Chiffon Cake using the technique borrowed in making Basic Sponge Cake here and here and also the Pandan Chiffon Cake.

This is definitely one of the lightest and softest banana chiffon cakes I've eaten!

Frozen Banana Nutella Yogurt

The weather is just hot, hot, hotter. I've made another batch of cold snack for the family using ingredients available in the house - Frozen Banana Nutella Yogurt.

Not only does it score high in taste and nutritional value (well, it's banana and greek yogurt!), it is also super easy to make! Just throw everything into the blender and blend. Yes, it's that easy! It's totally optional but I've also added some banana chips to give this frozen yogurt an extra texture.

Nutella Peanut-Butter Banana Smoothie

This is the first day after a sad week of national mourning for the demise of Singapore's founding father, Mr Lee Kuan Yew.

Till now it's still difficult to accept that he is gone. For the past week, the nation was united in grief and there was an overwhelming outpouring of grief, sorrow and sadness over his departure. Many braved the elements to pay their respects at the Parliament House, where Mr Lee's body was Lying-In-State, while many more paid respects at the various tribute sites to thank him and also wish that his soul rest in peace as he re-unite with his beloved Mrs Lee.

Nutella Swirl Chocolate Banana Muffins

Other than a small batch of blueberry muffins, I also baked a batch of these fragrant and yummy muffins for my girl's gathering with her pre-school friends over the weekend. It would have been my usual chocolate banana muffins except that I decided to add in some nutella swirls to the muffins this time round.

Blueberry Banana Smoothie

Smoothie is a nutritious and refreshing beverage where fruits are used as the base and blended together. It is not only a great, refreshing and nutritious beverage on its own, but also a fabulous and convenient meal replacement

Banana Walnut Cinnamon Cupcake

I always love the combination of banana and walnut. So when I saw this post on Cinnamon Banana Walnut Cake, I immediately bookmarked the recipe. Instead of baking a cake, I adapted Happy Home Baking's recipe into Banana Walnut Cinnamon Cupcakes so that it's easier to distribute to my girls' classmates for their pot-luck party.
