Time for a new challenge Sweet Stampin' and this time our theme is Gingham/Tartan/Plaid.  Now I seem to have gone a bit overboard this time but I decided just to show all of the cards I made that showed lots of different cards.  We have Christmas, Autumn and a retirement card!

A few birthday cards I made last year all featuring a football shirt.  I am not keen on either of these teams as we're a Hibernian supporting house!

The first one is my favourite.... but only cos it features Hibs in the cheeky sentiment.  They all feature the same football shirt from Just Inklined.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Morning all, it's Saturday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin'.

Now I like watching most sports (apart from synchronised swimming, not keen on that), not so great at the taking part but in this house both boys are involved in sport so I've gone for two cards featuring their sport of choice.  With Scott it's football (although to be fair, he'll have a go at most things) and this is is birthday card from back in June.

So this happened this week - the boys are back at school after 7 weeks holidays.  This is the last first day at school card where they will both be in it.  And just yesterday Craig was appointed Vice Captain of the school! Definitely a proud mum.

Let's Hear It For The Boy

Morning, a wee Sunday earworm for you....

So it was a friend's big birthday through the week and his wife had arranged all manner of surprises - a video with lots of folk (some famous, some not so) and the music playing in the background was Let's Hear it For The Boy.

There was a surprise party on Friday (although it also contained a suprise gig by one of the birthday boy's favourites Findlay Napier). A good night was had by all.

Seems like a good day to share this. It's the Grand Prix today in Abu Dhabi and one of my friends is there and it's her birthday today (although this isn't her card!)

The Best Day?

Is Monday the best day? I'm not so sure....

So following on from the card I shared yesterday - this is the birthday card I made for the person who ordered that one! This one was from way back in February.

I used a fab Just Inklined stamp and didn't really add much to it - the paper is MME and it's a chalkboard set so I just added a sentiment which I embossed in white.
