Time for a new challenge Sweet Stampin' and this time our theme is Gingham/Tartan/Plaid.  Now I seem to have gone a bit overboard this time but I decided just to show all of the cards I made that showed lots of different cards.  We have Christmas, Autumn and a retirement card!

Father's Day!

Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Morning all, it's Saturday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stampin'. 

This week our theme is

Chinese New Year 

The brief is either an oriental themed card or one featuring a pig as the Chinese are celebrating the Year of the Pig.

I came across this fab freebie from Avery Elle so I thought it would be perfect and I googled what was Happy New Year in Chinese so fingers crossed it's right! The paper I've used has been in my stash forever and it was absolutely right for this card.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend and are now ready to face another week.

This is a card I made recently and it's certainly the biggest card I've ever made (well, I made two A4 cards at the same time so the other one is still to come!). I have tried to grunge the background up a bit using some stamping in blue and black. Although it was quite daunting at first actually I got quite in to filling a big card!
