The Last of The Summer Wine (well, watermelon)

So we're almost at the end of August and before my Whimsy  cards move to Autumn/Halloween and Christmas (shhhh) I thought I;d share one last summer card.  I decided to try and give Millie a watermelon base with a bite taken out of it, I had to use scissors as the cardboard didn't taste very nice!

First Day

Hello.

Well that's it, the silence is golden. The children are back at school. Not that they're that noisy tbh but there is a certain silence descends when they go to school for the day, it's a pity I have to go to work and I can't make the most of the quiet...

This is the card I made for Scott starting S1. I've used a Polkadoodles image and kept the card fairly simple. I've simply used the school colours to back it.

This is a card I made recently and it's certainly the biggest card I've ever made (well, I made two A4 cards at the same time so the other one is still to come!). I have tried to grunge the background up a bit using some stamping in blue and black. Although it was quite daunting at first actually I got quite in to filling a big card!

Poor Little Nameless Blog Post

Just a quick post tonight. Loads to do!

This is a birthday card I made for my friend to give her wee girl - so that's two cards down, one still to show you.

I've used the lovely Maddie Shy Curls from Polka Doodles and I've paper pieced her top and hat. I'd quite like to have paper pieced her trousers too but I didn't have enough black card!
