Top 10 Food for Muscle Builder (6): Eggs

posted by my-blogmedia | Wednesday, November 26, 2008 | , ,

Hi my-blogmedia readers.

Wanna be a muscle builder?. Remember to pay attention of what kind of food we should eat. Here are the top 10 food that suit for you. Have a body building and have this food.

6. Eggs
The old school of thought was that you should eat egg whites rather than whole eggs in order to get the protein without the added cholesterol. But recent studies have proved that the fat in the yolk is important to keep you satiated, and the benefits of the minerals and nutrients in the yolk outweigh its cholesterol effect. Eggs deliver the most nutrients for the fewest calories and provide the most satiety per calorie consumed. Plus, eggs contain choline, a B vitamin that studies have linked to improved brain function. "Eat three or four servings a week for breakfast or as a protein alternative at other meals," says Bowerman.

Top 10 Food for Muscle Builder (3): Nonfat ricotta

Hi my-blogmedia readers.

Wanna be a muscle builder?. Remember to pay attention of what kind of food we should eat. Here are the top 10 food that suit for you. Have a body building and have this food.

3. Nonfat ricotta
"Men don't eat the 16 ounces of protein they need every day, and this is a great substitute if they don't like cottage cheese," says Dr. Dansinger. Made from whey, this soft cheese is rich in amino acids, which speed muscle recovery after a workout. Flavor it with jam and spread it on a cracker, or put half a cup in a blender with skim milk and fruit for a post-workout, cheesecake-flavored smoothie. It also tastes great on its own with olive oil and fleur de sel.

Top 17 Home Products Innovation Winner (10): Torque

posted by my-blogmedia | Sunday, October 05, 2008 | ,

Hello, my-blogmedia readers. We meet again. Here we are posting the winner of product innovations that might be usefull for you.

Honorable mention: Torque
As many multisport athletes can tell you, dealing with the studs on cleats is a real pain in the neck. You can use the same pair of shoes for soccer, golf and baseball, but you'll still need to swap out the studs — and each type of stud requires a specific wrench. With all the studs and wrenches, an athlete's equipment bag can start to feel more like a plumber's toolbox.

Matt Dean, a junior at Purdue University, has the solution. Inspired by the hassles he experienced as a competitive high-school player, Dean created Torque, a universal wrench for removing, storing and reinserting the studs on cleats. Torque fits the stud styles for all three sports, and with storage right inside the compact wrench, Torque also solves the problem of misplacing the small studs.

Top 10 Food for Muscle Builder (2): Grass-fed beef

posted by my-blogmedia | Wednesday, September 17, 2008 | , , ,

Hi my-blogmedia readers.

Here is another top 10 food that suit for you to support your body building program. Have a nice tray and enjoy.

2. Grass-fed beef
Nothing beats pure protein when it comes to building muscle. The problem with most store-bought beef, however, is that the majority of cattle are grain fed, which gives their meat a relatively high ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids. That, in turn, contributes to inflammation. The fatty acids in grass-fed beef, on the other hand, are skewed toward the omega-3 variety. Such beef also contains conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which studies have shown help reduce belly fat and build lean muscle. "Shoot for two six- to eight-ounce lean cuts [e.g., flank or tenderloin] a week," says Bowerman. "But don't grill it. Charring is carcinogenic. Roast or pan sear."

Arsenal sign new Portuguese younger player !

posted by my-blogmedia | Thursday, July 31, 2008 |

Hi readers, it seems that Arsenal will have younger player for this season. Let's wait and see his performance.

English side Arsenal have signed Portuguese midfielder Amaury Bischoff. The youngster will be making his move from Werder Bremen in Germany.

Bischoff, currently 21 years old, was born in France and received most of its youth training at SR Colmar and Strasbourg before joining Bundesliga side Werder Bremen in 2005.

It took until the past season for the player to get in action for Werder, being subbed on in the 74th minute of a UEFA Cup match with Celta de Vigo.

Earlier this month, Bischoff announced his departure from Werder and not much later, he revealed that a transfer to Arsenal was likely.

Although having played for France's U-18 team, Bischoff later opted to represent the Portuguese Under-21 team.

Liverpool Signed Robbie Keane

posted by my-blogmedia | Tuesday, July 29, 2008 |

Hi readers, Fernando Torres will have a tandem in the near future. Can Liverpool win the league match this year?. We will see then.

Liverpool signed Robbie Keane from Premier League rivals Tottenham on a four-year deal, a statement on the Anfield club's website. The Republic of Ireland striker underwent a medical at Liverpool's Melwood training ground on Monday and the 28-year-old was then given the all-clear to move to Anfield for a fee of 19 million pounds (38 million dollars), rising to 20.3 million (40.6 million dollars) dependent on bonuses.

Keane scored 15 league goals last season and his move to Liverpool could now see him partner Fernando Torres up front with Reds boss Rafael Benitez looking to increase his strike power in a quest to bring the title back to Anfield.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy was far from happy at the way in which Liverpool had signed up his club captain and Keane, in a statement, did his best to soften the blow by saying: "I would like to place on record my thanks to the board, players and fans of Tottenham for the past six years, which were the best and most enjoyable of my career to date.

Earlier, an angry Levy said: "I was incredibly disappointed when I first heard, not only that Liverpool had been working behind the scenes to bring Robbie to Anfield, but that Robbie himself wanted to go and he submitted a transfer request to this effect.

"I have already made my opinion clear on the nature of this transaction. I don't regard it as a transfer deal - that is something which happens between two clubs when they both agree to trade - this is very much an enforced sale, for which we have agreed a sum of 19 million pounds as compensation plus a potential further 1.3 million pounds in additional compensation."

But Levy did say Tottenham would not pursue their official complaint to the Premier League, having been angered by remarks from Benitez after Liverpool acknowledged the way its website reported those comments was inappropriate.

Keane, who has also played for Inter Milan and Leeds, could link-up with his new team-mates on Tuesday in Spain, where Benitez's side are currently on a pre-season tour, and make his debut for the club friendly against Villarreal.

Ronaldinho moves to AC Milan

posted by my-blogmedia | Wednesday, July 16, 2008 |

Hello football maniac, Finally AC Milan signed Ronaldinho as the new player for this year transfer session. Here is the detail.

Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho agreed to leave Barcelona, where he was deemed surplus to requirements, and sign for AC Milan in a deal reported to be worth 30 million dollars.

"AC Milan and FC Barcelona have reached an agreement for the transfer of Ronaldinho," said a Milan statement released on the club's official website.

The Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Milan will pay Barcelona 18.5 million euros (29.5 million dollars) for the World Cup winner with the figure likely to be increased by performance-related bonuses.

The news of the deal was a bodyblow to English Premier League side Manchester City who had offered 32 million euros for the two-time world player of the year.

Ronaldinho, who was not wanted at the Nou Camp by new Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola following a dip in form last season, scored 70 goals in 145 appearances for the Spanish side.

Meanwhile, Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti is looking forward to having Ronaldinho in his team as the San Siro giants aim to bounce back from their disappointing 2007/2008 season which saw them finish in fifth place in Serie A and miss out on Champions League qualification.

He added that the team will line-up so as to make best use of the Brazilian and his international teammate Kaka, with the pair playing behind either veteran Italy international striker Filippo Inzaghi or teenage Brazilian sensation Alexander Pato.

"We will play with a 4-3-2-1 formation. It's a model that has worked well for us and brought us great satisfaction. It's our trademark and it will be again this year, with or without Ronaldinho. Our only objective is to win playing good football. This is Milan," he added.

Having won two Champions League titles, 49-year-old Ancelotti said that returning to the pinnacle of the European club game was the team's priority.

"We start the season wanting to improve; being out of the Champions League is hard to take, therefore we will do everything to return there as soon as possible."

Peter Crouch completed his Transfer to Portsmouth

posted by my-blogmedia | Monday, July 14, 2008 |

Hi readers. Here is the news about previous Liverpool and England player.

England striker Peter Crouch completed his transfer from Liverpool to FA Cup winners Portsmouth . Crouch agreed a four-year contract with Harry Redknapp's side, who are believed to have paid Liverpool a club record 11 million pounds (13.7 million euros) to secure his signature.

The 27-year-old can't wait to link up with Redknapp for the third time in his career, having played under him in his previous spell at Portsmouth in 2001-02 and also at Southampton.

Crouch was unable to hold down a regular place in the Liverpool team during his time at Anfield, so the prospect of being a key player with Portsmouth was a major factor in his move.

"The chance of regular first team football was part of the appeal. I know I'll have to work hard to prove myself in training, but I believe my best years are in front of me," he said.

Redknapp, who will pair his new signing with England team-mate Jermain Defoe in Portsmouth's front line, was surprised he had managed to tempt Crouch from Liverpool and admitted the signing showed how far his club has developed.

Crouch becomes Portsmouth's fifth England international and Redknapp believes Fabio Capello will be a regular visitor to the south-coast next season.

"When you look at our team we have David James, Glen Johnson, Sol Campbell, Peter and Jermain Defoe," he said. "We have five players Fabio wants to keep an eye on this year."

The former Brazilian and Portuguese national coach reacted strongly to reports that had said that he had advised Ronaldo to leave Manchester United for Spanish champions Real Madrid.

Scolari added that he knows that the strong – willed Ronaldo has a strong mind and that he is fully capable of making up his own mind.

He concluded that with or without Ronaldo Manchester United will be hard to oppose in the Premier League this season.

Euro 2008: Spain is the new Champion

posted by my-blogmedia | Monday, June 30, 2008 |

Congratulation for Spain !!.

They finally got the Euro 2008 Champion title for this year. After 44 long years - virtually as long as the trophy drought still afflicting England - Spain finally threw off their chains on Sunday in winning the European Championship, beating Germany with a Fernando Torres strike.

A final appearance in Euro 1984 had been the closest a football-obsessed country had come since - old political rivals and neighbours France proving too strong.

On that occasion their chief tormentor was Michel Platini - so it was appropriate that the man who is now president of UEFA should hand over the winners' medals.
"Forty four years later, we did it again! It's the best day of my life," as Cesc Fabregas put it as Spain finally hit the jackpot after numerous promising showings in lower age-group competitions.

Now it has belatedly moved the same way at international level, away from Italy, Germany and a France side who bested Spain in the second round of the last World Cup after the latter's typically fine start.

The sporting "black legend" began a long time before that, following a 1934 World Cup loss to be precise to, who else, the Italians.

In 1962, it seemed a team with the likes of Alfredo Di Stefano on board had to have a good chance of glory but the Real Madrid legend picked up an injury and another chance of glory went begging.

Then the 1964 Euros - when finally silverware arrived via a 2-1 win over the Soviet Union on home soil for a team coached by Jose Villalonga.

That win, until Sunday, was the exception which would prove the rule for 44 years - back to when grizzled current coach Luis Aragones was a sprightly 26-year-old.

Euro 2008: Spain Goes to Final after beat Russia 3-0

posted by my-blogmedia | Friday, June 27, 2008 |

Hi, readers. Luis Aragones along his troopers has a fantastic match result.

Finally, Spain are through to the final of Euro 2008 following a very convincing 3-0 win over the Russians in the semi final on Thursday.

The Spaniards were the stronger side in the first half but never created a one hundred percent chance. And there was bad news for the Iberians as star striker David Villa pulled a muscle in his upper leg when taking a free kick and had to come off.

His replacement Cesc Fabregas though, proved to be of great importance in the second half and improved the connections between midfield and attack.

The deadlock was broken in the 50th minute when Andrés Iniesta sent in a low pass for Xavi Hernández to put the ball between goalkeeper Akinfeev's legs.

And things got more certain for Spain in the 73rd minute. Fabregas found substitute Guïza with a great looping pass to beat the defense, and Guïza lobbed it over the goalkeeper to double the lead.

Things were really in the pocket for the Spanish when David Silva converted a Fabregas cross in the 82nd minute to make it 3-0.

Spain have three days to prepare for their third ever European Championships final, which will be played against Germany on Sunday.

Euro 2008: Germany Goes to Final after beat Turkey 3-2

posted by my-blogmedia | Thursday, June 26, 2008 |

Wow, Germany comes as the first finalist for Euro 2008.

Germany are the first team to qualify for the final of Euro 2008 after a 3-2 win over Turkey in a more than entertaining semi final clash.

The Turks were the stronger side in the first half and got their reward when Ugur Boral opened the score in the 22nd minute. Kazim hit the crossbar - for the second time in the match - but Boral netted in the rebound.

But Germany reacted soon as Bastian Schweinsteiger converted a cross from Podolski just four minutes after the opening goal.

It took until the 79th minute for the scoreline to change as Miroslav Klose took advantage of a mistake by Rüstü and headed home for 2-1.

But the Turks did what they have been doing so often in this tournament, and scored a late equaliser. It was in the 86th minute when Sabri served Semih near the German goal and the latter pushed the ball past Lehmann for 2-2.

Germany did not allow that equaliser to affect them though and showed that their trademark - scoring in the last minutes - is still theirs.

A great German attack in the 90th minute eventually enabled Philipp Lahm to slam the ball into the net and take Germany to the final.

On Sunday in Vienna, Germany will meet either Russia or Spain to decide who is to lift this year's European trophy.

Euro 2008 Flash News: Spain beat Italy and go to Semifinal !!

posted by my-blogmedia | Monday, June 23, 2008 |

Hi all, finally Spain go to Semifinal after beat Italy 4-2 on penalties kick. Here is the report.

The match here on Sunday finished 0-0 after 120 mostly dull minutes and then Spain goalkeeper Iker Casillas saved penalties by Daniele De Rossi and Antonio Di Natale as Spain won the shoot-out 4-2.

Donadoni had claimed he was proud of his players and said they had done all they could have but the FIGC president refused to back him publicly.

"I had already talked to Roberto Donadoni before this game like ... and we had already established that after the game we will assess together the outcome of the European Championships," he said.

"So for the next few days we will meet and discuss what's going to happen.

"Tonight (Sunday) I want to thank the team and head coach because although we lost we have certainly done Italian football proud.

However, when pressed on giving a definite answer on Donadoni's future, Abete side-stepped the issue.

"I can say that in the next few days we will meet and talk about it.

"Today we've gone out so in the next few days we will retrace our steps and discuss elements and specific incidents.

Euro 2008 : Russia beat Holland 3-1 and go to semifinal !!

posted by my-blogmedia | Sunday, June 22, 2008 |

Wow..!!, Great match that Russia won the match. It is a fantastic result.

Russia beat 1988 champions Holland 3-1 after extra-time in their Euro 2008 quarter-final here on Saturday.

Two goals in extra-time - from Dmitri Torbinsky and Andrei Arshavin - sealed a deserved victory for the Russians, whose coach Guus Hiddink is a former Dutch national coach.

Arshavin extended Russia's lead in the 116th minute - for his second goal in two matches - after Dmitri Torbinsky had restored Russia's lead in the 112th minute with his first goal of the tournament, though, an earlier booking had ruled him out of the semi-final.

Roman Pavlyuchenko had opened the scoring in the 56th minute - his third goal of the tournament. However, Ruud van Nistelrooy equalised for Holland in the 87th minute - his second goal of the tournament and taking him equal with Dutch legend Johan Cruyff on 33 career international goals - to make it 1-1.

The winners play either Italy or Spain in Thursday's semi-final in Vienna.

Euro 2008 Flash News: Turkey goes to Semi Final !!

posted by my-blogmedia | Saturday, June 21, 2008 |

Bravo Turkey !!.What a heroic match for them. See the quick report of the match.

A dramatic equalizer by Semih Sentürk helped Turkey move on to the Euro 2008 semi-finals after a 3-1 penalty shootout win, following a 1-1 draw with Croatia on Friday evening.

Croatia started brightly and nearly went in front in the 19th minute as Ivica Olic took a cross from Luka Modric, but his sliding shot hit the crossbar and the rebound was headed over by Niko Kranjcar.

Turkey came close on 38 minutes when Mehmet Topal blasted a 40-yard shot just inches wide of the far post with Stipe Pletikosa at full extension, but it went to half-time scoreless.

Croatia were easily the better team in that half and should have gone in front on 70 minutes as Ivan Rakitic blasted one over the top in space in the area.

Eventually it went to extra time, and Turkey improved and Semih hit a shot from the edge of the area 10 minutes in that didn't miss the target by much, but it was Croatia that would strike.

In the 119th minute, Rüstü Reçber went to play the ball in the area, but a Croatian player beat him to it and crossed to the center where a grateful Ivan Klasnic headed home.

It appeared to be heartbreak for Turkey, but as they have done twice before in this tournament, they struck late, Semih firing home from 20 yards in the second minute of added time - of which there was schedule to be one - and the ball beat Pletikosa to send it to penalties.

Luka Modric missed the first penalty and Ivan Rakitic followed suit with Croatia's third, leaving Turkey up 3-1 after three rounds. Mladen Petric then stepped up, but his shot was saved by Rüstü sending Turkey through to the semi-finals to face Germany.
