I kept thinking that my green drawers were not being utilized to it's fullest potential. I mean, how much space do Nestabilities need??? I know people keep them in CD jewel cases...so why not store them in a CD wallet! It's compact, all in one place, a SPACE SAVER and easily portable. I got the magnetic strips at Wal-Mart. They came in packages of 18 self-adhesive strips for only $0.88 each. I cut several pieces of cardstock to fit into the CD wallet sleeves.
You have to use two strips of magnets to hold your Nesties securely. I organized them according to their compatible sized scallops.
I printed out labels for each one for easy reference. After completing the wallet I totalled 19 sets! I also left a few CD pages empty for new Nesties that I just ordered...can't wait to get the brand new ones in!!!!
I ordered the Wizard after seeing the Spellbinders ladies demonstrating it! It gives you a nice CRISP impression every time! I had been using my Cuttlebug and I thought it did a great job cutting and the embossing is pretty good, BUT after seeing how the Wizard embosses the shapes, I feel there is no comparison! I just have to have it! And HAVE I WILL...how much longer, Kelley?!?! LOL! I can already here her telling me "Patience, my little monkey".
I just can't believe how awesome this is. I'm definately going to organize mine this way too! Right now I just keep putting them back into the plastic pkg. they came in and they shift all over the place. What a wonderful idea!
ReplyDeleteCan you do that for me? You are so funny, my little monekey!
ReplyDeleteSuper great idea! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeletelove this Lorelie! I wasnt sure what u meant when u first told me..I will definitely have to get this done! tfs!
ReplyDeletethis is a great idea I have mine in CD cases and it holds them nice but it takes up space where your idea just put them all in one wallet

ReplyDeleteGreat idea, thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteawesome idea. I really need to do that too!
ReplyDeleteWow, TFS!! I would like to get mine out of the CD cases also. I have never been happy with that storage concept. But I'm wondering, did you have some sets that didn't fit in the CD wallet? I have the long rectangles and the mega nestabilities. Would they fit? I would really like to find a solution that works for all my Spellbinders dies.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for sharing!
Lorelie...please let me know how the Wizard is to use, i.e., is it THAT much better than a Big Kick..We have a rubber stamp show coming to Albuquerque, 15 March and the wizard will be there and for $99, I want to know for sure!...I'm going to set up the spellbinder CD sleeves like you have posted here!..mine are still in the original packing!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea. I took it one step further and used a larger CD Folder and added all my Cuttlebug folders. This is popping at its seems now. Gotta love Nesties!
