HOPPY SPRING

Hello, I have just enough time for a quick post before I jet off to work! Today we are sponsoring A Spoon Full of Sugar, so please be sure to pop over to their blog to have a look at this week's challenge. You can win a Super cute Rachelle Anne Miller stamp from Stampavie, the new Hoppy Spring.
I also wanted to show a card I made for my friend's Daughter, Evie. She was 3 on Friday and just loves cake and Dog's!
Odd combination maybe, but I thought the perfect stamps to use would be Tilda with Puppy and the Love Muffin, and I was right, she loved her card! (She actually has a look of cute little Tida-lol!)
Thanks for looking, Katie.

HOPPY EASTER!

Congratulations to Amy (http://amyscraft.blogspot.com/2009/03/spoon-full-of-sugar-little-gem.html) who won last weeks A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge, your prize of Sporty Edwin is on his way! This weeks challenge is for Easter Creations, and I have used this as inspiration for today's card.
I have used 'For You' from Ladybug and Friends for my image and coloured with water colours. I layered the image onto pastel coloured card, and added ribbon and an embossed flower from Prima to finish. I love these super cute Ladybug stamps, they are so detailed and versatile and just wonderful to colour.

Thanks for looking, Katie.

STYLISH MISS!

March is proving to be a very busy month, and the past week has been no exception. It was 'all go' with birthdays, catching up and celebrating. Yesterday was my Mother-In-Law's and I made her a card and matching gift bag with the Miss Anya set from 'The Greeting Farm'. These cuties flew of our shelves in the blink of an eye last week, but we have more coming soon, along with some of the wonderful new releases.

I chose the Miss Anya with shopping bags for my card and bag, and went with a bold Pink and Black colour scheme. I have used the fab sketch from last weeks Cute Card Thursday for the layout of the card, I loved the idea of putting the image on a tag!

I added a Sizzix swirl and Prima flower for extra embellishment, and added stickles to the swirl and image for sparkle.

I decorated the inside of the card using a few scraps of paper left over from the front.

The gift bag was made from a 12x12 sheet of double sided card stock, wrapped around a square tray I had made from card. I stamped Miss Anya on a Nestabillitie Heart and layered her onto the centre of the bag. I finished with a wide ribbon wrapped around the base, and added ribbon handles to the top.

Tomorrow we are sponsoring the 'A Spoonfull Of Sugar' challenge again, so please check back for the details of the challenge and to find out what prize can be won.

We are also holding a stall at the Maxx Paper craft show in Barnsley's Metrodome this coming Sunday, so if you are free it would be great to meet you!

Thanks for looking, Katie.

A SPOON FULL OF SUGAR CHALLENGE

YE-HAW! We are once again sponsoring the fantastic Spoon full of Sugar challenge.
This week the challenge is to design a card following this great sketch by Tina.

Our card has been created with the stamps we are offering for the prize: High Hopes 'Cowgirl Candice' and 'Howdy Pardner' sentiment.

This is such a fun stamp and suitable for Children and Adults alike.
Candice has been coloured with water colour pencils as has the other stamp used: High Hopes 'Watering trough'. To follow the sketch, she has been mounted onto Prima double sided card stock in 'Angelique - Angel Breathe' and 'Whisper 2 - Adored'.

To add an extra bit of Cowgirl splendor, we have attached a Cow boot charm onto a strip of ribbon for a final decorative touch!

The winner of the challenge will be announced next Tuesday, so Keep checking and good luck to everyone who enters!

Thanks for looking, Katie.
