HOPPY SPRING

Hello, I have just enough time for a quick post before I jet off to work! Today we are sponsoring A Spoon Full of Sugar, so please be sure to pop over to their blog to have a look at this week's challenge. You can win a Super cute Rachelle Anne Miller stamp from Stampavie, the new Hoppy Spring.
I also wanted to show a card I made for my friend's Daughter, Evie. She was 3 on Friday and just loves cake and Dog's!
Odd combination maybe, but I thought the perfect stamps to use would be Tilda with Puppy and the Love Muffin, and I was right, she loved her card! (She actually has a look of cute little Tida-lol!)
Thanks for looking, Katie.

PINK TILDA

I have been saving a few chipboard shapes for ages, only I'm not sure why! So I decided to dig them out and have a play, and created this handbag shaped card using Magnolia's 'Pink Tilda/ Ballet Princess' stamp.

I covered the chipboard shape in decorative paper (both sides) and added a concertina of folded card stock at the back to support the card and to write a message.
The front was decorated with a horizontal strip of ribbon for Tilda to sit on, and embellished with Prima flowers and a princess crown charm.
I also added a few spare ribbon strands to the handle to finish. I chose to use a Pink and black colour combo again, and love the effect they give - they are really bold and eye catching! This pink Tilda looks slightly more grown up to me, more of a sassy teenager! And for every Pink Tilda bought, a donation is made to the Pink Ribbon charity.

Thanks for looking, Katie.

DISPLAY!

It has been a busy week getting ready for our show on Sunday, at Barnsley's Metrodome. We have been try to get some new display cards and craft creations made up for the show, and this has led to minimal blogging (apologies for that!). I thought I would quickly show one of the cards now and try and pop back later with more.

For this card I have used Tilda with Hearts, and she is a real sweetie! The ribbon and flowers are from Prima, and I just love the blue brown colour combo!

Off to work now, thanks for looking, Katie.

HOW TIME FLIES!

Today's post is a quicky! Tomorrow my friends eldest Daughter will be 7, and I really don't know where the time has gone. I started my full time job as a cake Decorator just over seven years ago, when my friend Steph went on Maternity leave and now her tiny baby is a gorgeous seven year old!
Phoebe's card has been made using Tilda with Lilacs and Tilda's swing (both from Magnolia). I have also added a 'Happy Birthday', which is a High Hopes stamp, and a number seven, stamped using the Penny black number set. I finished the card with a couple of Prima Obsession flowers and a Dragonfly charm.

Have to dash, we have a stall a the 'Max Paper Craft' show, in Sunderland tomorrow and there is plenty still to be done, hopefully ending with a hot bath and an early night, but I think I will just have to dream on that one, lol!

Thanks for looking, Katie.
