Slider Treat Box

What do you do with a Christmas Poinsettia after Christmas?  My plants usually die after all the pretty red flowers fall off.  I've heard you can put them in a closet and they will bloom again, but the way I take care of flowers... if I put it in the closet.. it will BE there, DEAD, and lifeless until next Christmas!  I would never remember to water it.  Out of sight... out of mind!

SO, this brings me to my next Christmas project... the Christmas Poinsettia Slider Treat Box.  At least THIS poinsettia won't die!  Here's my project:

A note pops out of the other side when you pull open the box
I added some more green leaves..

Merry Mojo

I'm planning ahead for July's stamp class!  When i saw this week's Mojo sketch I automatically knew what I wanted to do.  This card will fit right in with my July's class because we will be making Christmas cards.

Here's my card:

MOJO246 Sketch

The candy is stamped from the Sweets for the Sweets set and I used the markers (Cherry Cobbler & Gumball Green) to color direct to the rubber, huff, then stamp.  Punch out using the 1 inch circle punch.  Using mini glue dots, adhere the candy to back of some buttons.  Cut small slits all the way around the outside of the buttons, and wrap the cardstock over the edge of the buttons, and around to the sides.  I didn't use any additional glue to hold them on because i wrapped them in clear cellophane

Please do let me know if you have any questions!!
