For You

Good Morning! Not sure where February went but now that March is here maybe we will be a little closer to Spring....let's hope. It is freezing here in central, Alberta, Canada.  A balmy -38 with wind chills making it feel like -52. Yuck! On to better news. I am excited to share a new DT creation for Cards Galore Encore Challenge with you!  Glamour Eyes are our sponsor for this month. they are offering 5 Digi stamps and a surprise clear stamp. My creation this month is a tag that I made to go with an afghan (throw blanket) I am currently crocheting. It was nice to have my mom with me as I was making the tag, helping me get my stuff from around the room.  It was fun, one day we will have to sit down and make a card together.  The bright pattern paper reminds me of spring! I kept the lines crisp and clean and used  a dauber to distress around the edge of the tag. A very clean and simple tag.

Ink: Concord Grape 

Markers: Stampin Up - Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo

Paper: Whisper White, Concord Grape and Paper Flower Box Doodlebug Designs Inc.

Accessories: Pearls, whisper white ribbon, elegant eggplant ribbon, scalloped circle punch, tag punch, gem and embossing folder.
