Katie and Outside Fun

Good morning!
We have had some very exciting news
this pass week.
Our middle son Robin and his girlfriend Summer
are now engaged.
It brings us so much joy and honestly
something wonderful to plan and look forward too.
The weather has been beautiful.
On Father's Day we were able to have a
picnic with my dad and enjoyed it.
We are kind of having a mini heat wave here.
Everything is getting really dry.
So if mother nature was inclined to have it
beautiful during the day and rain at night. I wouldn't be opposed...LOL.

We have a brand new and fun filled challenge for you
We are on Challenge #407
and Kelly would like to see
some Outside Fun.

Our wonderful sponsor for this week is Laurie Furnell Ink
Our prize is 2 digi sets

The image, I used today is one from
Thank you so much for letting
me high light this image.

This image reminds me of playing on the farm
with the cats and I did accidently pull some
pretty flowers out of the flower beds for
my grandma. It was so much fun to chase the butterflies
and to climb the trees.

The image below was colored using Copic Markers.

The stitched layers were made using My Favorite Things
Rectangle Stitched Dies.
The pattern paper is from Doodlebug
A butterfly punch from Martha Stewart
Paper from Stampin' Up.

We would really like it if you came to join us this week.
I look forward to seeing what our challenge of Outside Fun
inspires in you.

Thank you so much for joining me today!
Wishing you a beautiful day!

Hugs,

Give A Girl The Right Shoes

 Good morning to you!
It is hard to believe that in just a few days
July will be half over. *shocking*
We had a lovely weekend spent with family,
enjoying each other and missing our loved ones
that are watching us from heaven.
We celebrated two beautiful young woman who are
now high school graduates. We are so very proud of them.

Today, is my day to pick a stamp set to high light
Wise Woman is what I chose to work with.
I adore this set with all of the different sentiments.
Now I am a shoe girl but sadly only have a few pairs of
beautiful heels; that I am unable to wear now. *sigh*.
I love people watching for dress shoes.
There are so many cute/beautiful shoes.
On the card above, I stamped the sentiment and image.
Then stamped the shoe separately and fussy cut it out to pop
it up in the center.
Some circle dies, pattern paper, butterfly punches
and woo-la the card was done.

Please join us from Monday - Friday on our blog.
We have inspiration for you on these days.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
Wishing you a very happy day!

Hip, Hip, Hooray!

 Good morning!
My card today has me feeling like
some spring colors are needed.
We are still getting snow the last 5 or 6 mornings; up to about 5cm
It is all melted by the afternoon, so things are
really starting to green up.

The stamp set, being highlighted today
is
Isn't the sentiment and design around it just amazing!

Which has made the roads very, very icy.
The weekend was full of volleyball
it has some highs and lows but in the end was successful.

Today, is The Project Bin Monday for me.
My latest creation is

Peppermint/Celebrate The Season

Good morning! I am super excited to bring my new creation to you for Season's Greeting Christmas Challenge. It run's the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays, Always Anything Goes with an optional twist. You can choose to use the twist or just share what you made with us.

I will share a Christmas creation with you every 4th Tuesday.  I am part of Team Koala along with my other fabby Koala Team. Now I can really and truly start making my Christmas cards for the end of the year.

My card above was made with an image I won from C.C. Designs release several months ago. Peppermint is such a cute image. She is just adorable and so much fun to color up. I did decide to use the twist which was a challenge for me but I loved it. Never thought to put these colors together. Hope you like my card too.

Recipe:
Stamps: Peppermint C.C. Designs, So Many Scallops Stampin' Up
Paper: Stampin' Up: Cucumber Crush, So Saffron, Blushing Bride and Watermelon Wonder, Whisper White and Spectrum Nior paper.
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento, So Saffron
Accessories: Martha Stewart snowflake punch, Stampin Up 1 1/4 inch circle punch, Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder. Copic Markers, Gems from Your Next Stamp.

I would love to enter my card into the following challenges:
Hiding in My Craft Room - Challenge #290 - Any Holiday (Christmas)
