The Book Elf - Thank you

Good morning!
Hoping you are having a good week so far.
May is just flying by.
We celebrated our anniversary this past week
and we had a long weekend.
Who doesn't love a long weekend?
It has been very hot and windy
so many fires in our province.
Praying for gentle rains that will help
with all of the fires.

We have a brand new challenge for you
for challenge #495
we would like to see Fun Fold cards

Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is
Prize: 3 Images
The Book Elf is the image being high lighted on this card.
It was colored using Copic Markers.

Fun fold cards are great. It has been a while.
The fun fold I am sharing with you is called a W Easel Card.
My image is probably a little bigger
than it should be but it still works out.
You use a 4.25x11"
Score at 5.5"
Score at 2.75"
Then you fold it to the inside.
or you fold it in half and then fold one piece in half again.

It was so much fun to color up this image.
I adore books and absolutely love
to read outside in the summer, especially while camping.

One of my dream spots to read would be to have a
spot with pillows and a bench around
a tree with lights, a good drink and then relax.
Just read until my heart is content.

The stitched dies are from Gina Marie Designs.
The two punches with the sentiment are from Stampin' Up
The thank you stamp is from Stampin' Up
Paper is from Stampin' Up.

Please be sure to join us over at Creative Knockouts
for our Fun Fold Challenge.
We would love to see you creations.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
Have an amazing week.

For Someone Special

Good morning to blogger land!
It sure has been a busy few weeks
for us with our families.
Two special highlights for me in the last couple
of weeks is:
1. I got to see my many of my aunties/uncles,
it has been way to long. Every minute counts.
2. My husband, friend Helen and I have
all started swimming again.
It absolutely feels great. In the last month, I have
been able to accomplish all my goals in the pool.
10 years ago before my accident,
I was swimming 44 lengths with very good speed.
Even though, my speed is not there, once again
I am able to swim that many lengths.
My goal will be to reach 1 mile which is 64 lengths.
Onto why you are really here:
