Thank You!

After winning all those lovely paper pads after being the "Star Letter" in the Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine, I just had to say "Thank You" with one of my cards didn't I.  Being brung up wiv manners this is typical of me!

I found this gorgeous piece of backing paper in a parcel sent from the lovely Gill.  I'll have to find out where she got it as it's just perfect for so many cards!!!  I got the felt flowers as a bargain from a cheapie shop.  They are very well made and I couldn't believe it when I saw them so got a few colours all at the same time!

I backed the butterflies with vellum and coloured it with my Promarkers to match the paper.  I can post this as I've already sent it off to the Editor.

I hope you like it too.

Enjoy!

WOYWW 153

Not quite on my workdesk, but on my work tray!  Here's one of the cards I made from all the glittery sparkly silver stuff last week.  I kept it plain and simple - this is the "Thank you for the invite card" and the actual wedding card will be shown later.  I now have another wedding coming up soon so that's another card to make.
Look what arrived in the post for me yesterday!  Aren't they so gorgeous!!!  It was a competition I'd entered and forgotten about - chemobrain again!
Here's part of my work bed - one clever lady Laura spotted the rainbow coloured image on my previous WOYWW so here are the ones I've completed ready for the animal charity Summer Fayre.  They are called "Scrapito" and I admit to having had them for a while, so I thought it was about time I made them all up.  They are confusing when you first read the instructions, but once you've done that, it all makes sense - believe me!  There was enough items in the card to make three complete cards, however with my crafty head on I realised I could make something with the negative images too so I made another three cards.  If there's a way, I'll find it!

Also a BIG BIG BIG THANK YOU to Gill, she sends me cards regularly for the cancer charities and has now made some fantastic cards for the animal shelter too, most of which are animal related!  I took a huge big box over to them the other day and they were delighted!  "Are they all for us?" the lady asked, "Yes, 100% of what you make is yours to keep, these are donated from me and my crafty friends!".  They also loved the hand crocheted blankets (slowed down now due to a lack of wool sadly) and are going to sell them at the Summer Fayre too which is nice to know.

Well, I'm off to the hospital again today - this time it's not for me though - so I can relax and go to the Coffee Shop!

Enjoy WOYWW!

WOYWW again....

Hop on over to Julia's to find out more about WOYWW.  You don't have to have a workdesk to join in, as many of you know, I craft on my bed so here's my workdesk!

Here's my latest creations being made for my animal charity fundraising.  I make most of my cards to help cancer and animal charities.  Of course I also make cards for family and friends too.  It helps to take my mind off my health problems and I just love it!  Always have done and always will I suppose.  A crafter is a crafter forever!

I just love this image of a wedding couple, I like to keep it simple, just alittle colour and some glitter to bling it up (you know me and bling!).  Some other little sentiments hanging around and some gorgeous ribbon I won in a candy a while ago and haven't used yet.  Naughty!

Have fun everyone and looking forward to a sneaky peak around the world!

Enjoy!

Look What I Won...!

These beautiful peel offs came through the door at the weekend.  Aren't I lucky!!!   I know peel off's are out of favour at the moment with a lot of crafters, but I like them, they come in so handy!!!

I'm pleased with them as they will make my cancer charity cardmaking stash go a long way!  They are so intricate and I'm now putting my one grey cell into action to see what I can come up with.

Wish me luck!
