Design Team Delights for Challenge #33--BELIEVE

First up I want to apologize for the fact this post is coming out later than I'd normally publish it.  Sadly, I have been trying to get to it since 3:30 this afternoon (it is now 5:47).  Every time I'd think, "oh, I've got to go and get that done", something else would distract me and I'd get waylaid.  Now with just 10 minutes left before it is supposed to be posted, I'm in a bit of a time crunch.  Man, I'm apparently the queen of procrastination today, on a day where I can't afford it--I've still got three posts due tomorrow to get done.  What do they say about the 'best of intentions'?  Oh well, I am here now so let's get on with it! :)

It is time to share our favourite entries for Challenge #33.  As always, in each challenge you, the readers, get to voice your opinion by voting for your favourite and so it is only fitting that my Design Team get to do so as well.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to join along our Path during the month of December for Challenge #33Check out the entries that really caught our attention...
AJ--chosen by Pat...

This is what Pat had to say:
"My DT Delight is AJ.  I love that side easel card and her design and coloring are fabulous."

To see the details of AJ's creation and read more of what she had to say click HERE.
NanaConnie--chosen by Katrina, Desíre and Julie...

Katrina said this:
"My DT Delight is NanaConnie. Those mice are delightful skating around and the sentiment "Believe the Christmas Magic" is so perfect with the sparkle!"

Desíre had the exact thing to say as Katrina did, only adding this statement:
"...And of course the traditional red and green Christmas colours is very striking."

Julie had this to say:
"My DT Delight is NanaConnie as well. Her card is delightful. She wanted to make it look like a package, and she definitely accomplished that. Plus, her image is adorable!"

To see the details of NanaConnie's creation and read more of what she had to say click HERE.
Helen--chosen by Suze...

Here is what Suze had to say:
"My DT Delight is  Helen. I love that the traditional image is centre of the card and then framed to highlight the image. A beautiful CAS card."

To see the details of Helen's creation and read more of what she had to say click HERE.
Steffi--chosen by Sandy...

Sandy said this:
"My DT Delight is Steffi.  Her card has a spirit feel to it and brings a smile to one's face."

To see the details of Steffi's creation click HERE.
This time around I personally didn't have a favourite--it was too hard choosing among the four entries so they are ALL my favourites!  Each one has something unique about it that I love.

NanaConnie's card is just so cute and I love her sentiment.   Christmas is definitely a magical time of year where one can easily believe in so much beyond the ordinary.

AJ's card is lovely too.   Her inside sentiment reads, "It was the simple gift of love that changed the course of the world." These beautiful words that expound on what Christmas is really about, touched me.

Helen's card may be clean and simple but it is still impressive.  I love the focus on the image and of course her great sentiment.  Can you imagine a world with peace?  Even for just one day?  What a glorious world that would be.

Finally that brings Steffi's card.  I love the fun and festive design and of course the red, white and touch of gold--perfect for the Christmas season.

Creative Congratulations to all of you!

Thank you to everyone who played on our Pathway during the month of December.  As always we greatly appreciate you sharing your incredible talents with us.

For our DT Delights chosen for this challenge...

  AJ, NanaConnie, Helen, and Steffi

You are all entitled to one image of your choice from our on-going sponsor...

If you are familiar with the Creative Bug Digital SnapShots store, PLEASE NOTE THAT THINGS HAVE CHANGED.   Unfortunately, the website is no longer available.  As such I created a page on the originating blog that lists all of the images available.  Please click HERE to check out the image previews.  I have tried to arrange them into general categories.  Due to the nature of some of these images, they have been repeated in certain applicable categories.  Be sure to click on the watermarks to bring them up into the lightbox for better viewing.  Once you've made your decision, please send me the name of the one image you want and let me know which section it came from.

Additionally, you are entitled to the special Challenge #33 DT Delight Badge. To claim both your digi and the badge (or just one or the other), send your requests to popwinners {at} gmail {dot} com (be sure to replace at and dot with the appropriate symbols) or by clicking HERE to bring the address up in your email program, with the subject, "PoP#33--DT Delight Badge and/or Digi Request".   I'm always running rather behind these days, so your patience is appreciated.

Our special yearly prize package will also still be taking place.  Remember, if you are chosen as a DT Delight during any of our challenges, your name will be entered into a draw for some digital goodies.  You get one entry per choice; so, if two members picked your card, you will earn 2 entries, three members 3 entries, etc.  The winner at the time will be notified by email.   The next draw will occur sometime in the summer of 2016.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope to see you all tomorrow on February 1st, when we will be back with the start of Challenge #35.  We hope that you will join us then to learn what the newest theme will be.

And look at that--thankfully I'm not too late getting the post out, just 45 minutes ish.  It could have always been much later so that is a positive blessing in itself!  See you again soon!

Challenge#33--BELIEVE: Midway & Voting Reminder

Hello everyone! We have reached the midway point of Challenge #34. The theme for this challenge is all about the importance to BELIEVE in something or someone.

Most of us live in societies that allow us to have our own belief systems.  We are very lucky indeed compared to many people in other parts of the world.  Our forefathers fought for our rights and we must not disappoint them.  Find something you can believe in.  Whether it is something within yourself or something much greater, we all need something to latch onto and believe in, in our lives.

Anyway, it is time to get on with our midway!
Here are the watermarks and links for the wonderful images that the team worked with for the midway.

Also, I know that the participants would love for you to go and pay them a visit.  Remember we're creating a Path of Positivity to follow one project at a time and we'd love to see you somewhere on that route even if it is just by leaving a comment on an entry from someone who has touched you somehow with their project and/or post!

Challenge #33--BELIEVE: December 7th to January 3rd

Hello and welcome to the final challenge of the year!  It is amazing to know that almost another full calendar year has gone by.  Thank you for all of your support during 2015 and I hope that we'll see some of you more often in 2016!

This time around, for Challenge #33 the theme is "BELIEVE".  Show us your interpretation of what the concept of believing in something or someone means to you.  You can make any sort of project and/or post as long as it is positive in nature and relates to the theme.

It isn't important what you believe in, only that you believe in something outside of yourself.  The great thing about the concept of believing in something or someone, is that it can cover such a wide range.  You may simply believe in the immediate people around you.  Knowing that your family and friends are there for you and have your back no matter what.  Or, your beliefs could extend well beyond your inner circle to an acceptance of a higher power that takes care and watches over you and your loved ones.  Believe in the magic of Christmas or just believe in magic period!  Show us what you hold dear to you, what you trust as absolute in your life.

Is there someone that you should be saying thanks to that has stuck by you, that believes in you unconditionally?  Or maybe you could let someone know that you believe in them and will stand by them through thick and thin.  Since the holidays are fast approaching, it is the perfect time of year to create a Christmas card focussed on the idea of belief.  Whatever route you choose to take, we look forward to seeing your interpretation on this month's theme.

Don't forget when you link up your project and/or post, to please leave a comment letting us know how your creation relates to the concept of belief if it isn't readily clear within the design itself or clearly written somewhere else in your post.  Remember, the creation must be positive/inspirational/motivational AND adhere to the theme of belief in order to be considered eligible for this month's prizes.  While you may easily see how belief relates to your creation, it may not be as apparent to me or the DT members.  That is why we ask that you clarify it somewhere, whether here or in your blogpost.  You can simply write a sentence at the bottom of your post next to the link up for this challenge, if it would be easier.  We just need to know how your project ties into the theme.  Letting us know, clears up any ambiguity that may exist.

This month's guest sponsors...

This month we have two returning sponsors!

Here is a refresher on what  Pickled Potpourri Designs is all about...

Pickled Potpourri Designs (www.PickledPotpourri.com) began in 2013 as an offshoot of Red Rubber Designs (www.RedRubberDesigns.com),  a rubber stamp company. But not all images are destined to become rubber stamps, so Pickled Potpourri was created to offer quality digital  papers, printables and stamp designs to inspire and enable everyone to create art!

We feature old favorites from The Angel Company (which closed its doors in August 2011), as well as new, original collage designs. You'll find a potpourri of images in a wide range of styles to enhance your papercrafting, scrapbooking and other artsy projects at Pickled Potpourri!
