Hello bloggers! How are you doing? I hope you are relaxing after the Halloween parties:-)

A few days ago I was inspired to make a layout in antique pink tons. I had a lovely picture of my mom going hand in hand with my boy and the title was inevitable: come with me.
As I didn't have some antique pink flowers and in fact they are quite difficult to find I transformed some nice purpre Prima flowers into a different ones. It was easy: I just painted them with some white primer and then covered them with Glimmer mists and Plain Jane Simply Sheer: I used 4 types of mists to obtain what I wanted: Walnut Gold and Route Glimmer mists and Rosey and Warm Green Simply Sheer. I also used some Tattered Angels Stained Glas to make the messy dots at the bottom of the page. The Paper is from the 7Gypsies collection POSTALE.

I want to remind everyone that I'll have classes in Stavanger, Norway on the 10th of November (Papirfest).

It's your day to shine

Hello everyone! Here si a new LO with a pic of my little one that was taken on his birthday and this is the reason of the title.I love this pic and the person who really shines out of it :-)

I did the page in white style. I used various 7 Gypsies elements like the Postale paper, Postale stickers and some parts of the Metal Hardware from CC.

A good brush with some white acrylic paint and a sparkle of Charcoal Chalkboard are a perfect combination and there are also some Tattered Angels Glimmer Screen signs.

Very short post this time.... More next time :-)

You are so pure

 Hello everyone! A new project..... This is a LO with a photo of my boy that I did some time ago. I love this picture because it express the essence of being a child. I decided to use the image like he is looking down, at the title of the page. I used a Prima trinket for part of the title and make the word "so" from a wire and painted with some white acrylic paint. I also added some painted wire swirls in the centre of the flowers to recall the wire technique of the litle word. For the background I used Simply Sheer Teal and Burlap and for the flowers the Patina and Aquamarine Glimmer mist.

1st day of school

This time I decided to make a LO because I had to capture a very important thing on it – my boy’s first day of school!I love to use the blues and turquoises on the LOs for my son because beside the fact that these are perfect boy colors they have a great airy and fresh effect.  First of all I blended the blue stripes with the Chalk Chalkboard. Than I used the Chalkboard Seven Seas for the background spots combined with the Burlap Simply Sheer to get a pinch of warmness. I colored the frame arround my boy with the Glimmer mist  Aquamarine using a thin brush.

Delicate like bird

 Another day...another LO :-) In the shades of purple and lillac for my mom as they are her favorite colors. A beautiful look chasing the movements of a little birdie. I added a wire swirl in the centre on of the Prima flowers. I used the Glimmer glaze to color the pearls that are scattered over the LO to recall the dotty pattern of the background.

Happy thoughts

Here I am with a new LO. I have to say that with the Canvas Corp papers I have to make some new LO because they are really good and they support paints and glues perfectly. They stay perfectly leveled and creating with them is just so nice. 

This LO is full of turquise shades that are perfect for boy LOs. Flowers however have to be in company of some gears and hardware :-)

Your smile makes me happy

Another LO about my boy who is growing so fast. The title is "Your smile makes me happy" and this is so true. That little sweet teeth soon will be gone and I'm enjoying these last baby smiles that will be replaced by some new ones soon.
A lot of layering in this LO and a lot Of Prima elements and even from recycling the packaging. I also added some 3D dotts at the bottom of the LO for more dimension.

February at Tattered Angels

We are already at my second post for Tattered Angels. It's always a pleasure for me and I hope you checked the Tattered angels site and found fresh news and finally met Jane! Now are inspiration wil be even more intense with three new products line:

Simply Sheer, Baseboard, Stained Glass

In February I did several Valentine's but the most imporatant projects for me are the ones that were made for my two treasures – my husband and my precious little one! I decided to make two soft couscins that represent the tenderness of their love. I took some fabric and sprayed them with Glimmer mist. I used three colors: Red Led, Cranberry Zing and Irridescent Gold. I sprayed them a lot and the on the wet fabric appeared a nice color blending. Than I swewd the cousins and added some details. Each heart has the appropriat intial – Framed font, covered with Chandelier Glimmer Glam.

The second project is a LO and also this one is for my two most presious things. They are always together enjoying boy games and sharing prescious time – they are best buddies!

For this LO I used Island Spring Glimmer Glaze for the base paper to give a profoud frame to the intire LO. For the splashy circle I used just a plate and than sprayed the paper arround it several times and used the heat gun in between the sprays. I also dipped a clean toothbrush in the glimmer mist and sprakle it arround the plate.

My third project was made for my friend’s birthday. It’s a 3D canvas Heart. I love this project because instead of having a flat painting there’s an outgrowing heart. The inside part of the heart is covered with tender flowers that are all covered with Sangria Glimmer Glaze and on them there are lying the names of my friend’s doughters. On the outside of the heart there is a place for some significant initials and dates and other elements. The final cover of the outside world is sprayed with Chalk Glimmer Mist.

Smile, without a reason why...

Here is my new LO. I love this picture of Kian. It's just like I want to see him every day, just smiling, without a reason why.... Nothing is better than this.
I wanted this picture to be sourrounded with light colors to keep it in focus and some delicate embellishments like the Tattered angels Glimmer chips, Tim Holtz grungeboard and other pieces. I teared the paper to make comfort places for the pic and for the title. The edges of the teared paper are treated with water and soaked in Glimmer mist.
