The End of 2012

The end of 2012 was a bit of a rough one for me.

Between getting the plague that would not go away, work, and having a dear friend diagnosed with breast cancer I was not much for keeping up with my blog.

I am ready for 2013 to turn everything around and focus on the fun in life.

Before I leave 2012 behind though there are a few last snapshots I have to share with you.

Getting Stuffed

We all know that Pinterest leads to amazing things by now, but this might be my all time favorite find.

The only thing I could love as much as my favorite pup Dorothy Mantooth would be a stuffed animal that looks just like her.  That is exactly what The Shelter Pups do.  You send in a photo of your furry child and they will create a little stuffed doppelgänger for you. Not to mention with every purchase you can help donate to a local shelter of your choice.

Perpetual Panic

So here is a little inside information onto my true personality...I am a constant worrier.  

The things I worry about though are really rather ridiculous.

I usually think someone is breaking into my house.

I am pretty sure I will always be late even thought I tend to be early.

I constantly think Dorothy Mantooth might stop breathing in the middle of the night.

I always think that someone is following me in a parking garage.

I assume I order every sectional going the wrong direction.

The last point is a constant stress in my work life.  Have I ever ordered a sectional going the wrong direction?  No.  Does that stop the intense panic and worry the night before an install?  No.  Will it ever?  No.  Why?  Now I think if I am not worried, that will be the time I should have been worried.

Ugh.

My poor husband. 

Does anyone else feel this way?

The Workings of My Weekend

I spied Disco Rocks at the Pacific Design Center.

Visited (stalked) my Chloe crossbody.

Avoided pants.

Trolled stores for dishes for my mother.

Gave Dorothy a new friend aka Lampchop.

Sadly, Lambchop did not have a lovely weekend.

Happy Wednesday
