Thank you for your support!
Since Judge the Koran Day, we have been dealing with hundreds of negative mails and calls a day and many requests from media.
We have now over 400 domestic and international death threats that law enforcement agencies seem to be ignoring, although we were asked to pass them all on, and have done so.
Our tech experts and firewalls have been fighting off massive cyber attacks from every continent. We are winning!
Our insurance is, once again, to be cancelled.
Our own government has condemned us and is considering criminalizing free speech, selling out our Constitution to coddle the OIC and the UN.
But we are not going away. We are not going into hiding. They will have to knock us all off to stop us! We are doing this for our country, for the nations and people of the world, oppressed under the lies and violence of Islam. It means more to us than our lives.
Come and support us in Dearborn, MI, April 22, in front of the largest mosque in America, where we join OOTD of Michigan and protest Sharia and Jihad, the oppression and violence of Islam. This mosque supports Hamas, Hezbullah, and their backers in Iran. We stand with Israel. Bring any signs and flags you like.
You can continue to support us through our websites: doveworld.org and standupamericanow.org where you can sign up for our newsletter, see our events, press releases and articles, and connect with us on facebook and twitter
Thank you, also, for your prayers.
God Bless you, your families and businesses.
Yours Sincerely,
Dr Terry Jones, Founder and President of Stand Up America Now.

A Note From Pastor Terry Jones: "We Stand With Israel"
I received the following message from Pastor Terry Jones and his organization, Doveworld. No, it isn't a personal communication, just something emailed to supporters. Here it is:

Pastor Terry Jones Burns a Koran, Afghan Muslims Kill 12 in Response
I think I am one of the few people, even on the conservative side, who actually likes Pastor Terry Jones. Jones created quite a furor some months ago when he planned to collect Korans from donors, then burn them in a huge bonfire on his church's property in Gainesville, Florida. Strong public pressure finally dissuaded him not to do so. In spite of this, a Pakistani court issued a fatwa against Pastor Jones, promising around $2 million to anyone who murders Jones. Every time Pastor Jones points out the pure evil of Islam, Muslims rush in to prove that he was right all along.
I am not a fundamentalist Christian [though I do admire Jesus]. I could care less what Pastor Jones thinks about salvation and damnation, angels and demons. But I absolutely agree with him that Islam is completely evil and intolerable. Because of this, I think everyone should burn a Koran. Every time another Islamic atrocity occurs (and they occur numerous times daily), we should mark the occasion by burning Korans.
This week Pastor Jones finally burned a Koran and it was on the news. So some Afghani Muslims attacked a UN headquarters somewhere in that big anus known as Afghanistan, and killed 12 UN workers. They were mad at Terry Jones, so they killed someone else. What a bunch of pure, unadulterated barbarian scum.
Some sites, like Weasel Zippers, tell the truth and say that it wasn't Terry Jones that killed those UN workers, it was fanatical Muslims. Nevertheless, Weasel Zippers and other sites find it necessary to speak ill of Jones before admitting this. Weasel Zippers said:

I’m no fan of the attention-whoring Terry Jones, but he is not to blame for these deaths, fundamentalist Islamic ideology is.Just for the record, I AM a fan of Terry Jones. We need more people who have the courage to tell the truth about the world's most vile religion, and there is no better way to demonstrate that than by burning their unholy book, the Koran. If we must refrain from exercising our rights to free speech in order to appease savages, than we have no business being in Afghanistan.

Ground Zero Koran Burner is Fired from His Job
Via Powerline |
The Dhimmi Enforcers of Sharia have spoken: No one shall show disrespect for the ideology that killed 3,000 people nine years ago. C'mon, that's just so 2001!
The burner was one Derek Fenton, who had worked at New Jersey Transit for eleven years, is now unemployed. I posted about Fenton before I knew his identity here. In my post I admired his courage, considering the hostile PC environment that is New York.
Thanks Derek, for what you did. A curse on the bosses at New Jersey Transit, for their dhimmitude and cowardice.

Sultan Knish: Burn the Koran or the Constitution?
Sultan Knish |
The media's coverage of the 9th anniversary of the Muslim murder of 3,000 people was overshadowed by their panicked coverage of the possibility that Terry Jones, the pastor of a tiny Florida church, might actually burn the Koran. Last week Newsweek ran Fareed Zakaria's piece insisting that Americans overreacted to 9/11. So instead the media showed us where their priorities lie, by shortchanging the dead, ignoring their killers and instead turning the pastor of a small Florida church into a villain for even talking about the possibility of torching a book, whose contents helped inspire 9/11. It's as if on Holocaust Memorial Day, the key topic of discussion was not the murder of 6,000,000 Jews, but a protester who wanted to get his Bic lighter close to Mein Kampf.Read it all here.

Stogie Burns a Koran (Video)
Not to overstate the point, but I did make a YouTube video of the event and may as well post it.
My son filmed it with his new IPhone. The newest model takes excellent videos.
Oh, and I thought of another reason to burn a Koran: it is terribly cathartic for those of us who resent what was done to us on 9/11.

Man Burns Koran at Ground Zero Today (Video)
This man tore out pages from the Koran and burned them at Ground Zero today. The New York Gestapo escorted him from the scene, probably to avoid upsetting Muslims and liberals, both of whom can be violent. Several reporters and/or bystanders shouted taunts at the man, in an effort get him to reveal his name. All they got was a smiling silence as the man departed the scene.
Reader Courtney sent me the link to this video and said:
Thanks Courtney, but I am not in the same class with this guy. Now that guy has balls of steel!

Bill O'Reilly Calls for Injunction Against Pastor Terry Jones
I saw this exchange on television yesterday and can vouch for its accuracy. I found the text of it on the web. O'Reilly is a jerk and certainly no friend of liberty, and this exchange proves it.
...
Bill O'Reilly, host of the O'Reilly Factor on the Fox News Channel, on September 9, 2010, called for the courts to act to shut down the suspended (as of this writing) Koran burning protest by the Gainesville, Florida based Dove World Outreach Center.Pathetic! If O'Reilly has such a dismal understanding of the First Amendment, he ought to cash in his chips and call it a career. Sometimes I'd just like to slap the guy.
O'Reilly made his remarks in a segment with lawyers Lis Wiehl and Kimberly Guilfoyle.
O'Reilly said, "I believe, Guilfoyle, a case can be made here, it was the Supreme Court rul(ing) you can't have a public display that intimidates if the intention of it is to harm. And certainly burning the holy book of more than three million Americans, Muslim Americans, is meant to harm them emotionally and intimidate."
Then to Wiehl, O'Reilly said, "I think on legal grounds Wiehl, correct me if I'm wrong, there is a good case to say, 'you cannot do this because the sole purpose of this is to intimidate people and inflict emotional damage.'"
Wiehl noted the Supreme Court has ruled burning the American flag is legal as a possible reason for no one going to court yet to stop the Koran burning.
O'Reilly replied, "That's true, but I think it should be adjudicated, and they can slap an injunction on the guy and say he can't do it."

Pastor Calls Off Koran Burning?
The breaking news is that Pastor Terry has called off the planned burning of Korans, based on an appeal from the Secretary of Defense.
That's too bad. I was rather looking forward to it.
Intense pressure has been applied to Jones by various agencies: his bank has called the loan on the church property; the church's insurance company has canceled its policy, and the church's ISP provider has removed the church's website. The United States of Dhimmitude is now in full appeasement mode.
In my opinion, the conservative bloggers who denounced Jones are PC-sissified cowards. Meanwhile, the 9/11 Mega-Mosque continues to go forward. I am disappointed in Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer and others; Brigitte Gabriel has lost all credibility with me and I will pay her no mind in the future.
The Koran should be burned, just as Islam must be strenuously opposed without apology. There is no accommodation with this ideology and those who think so are fools, in my opinion.

Pastor Terry Jones's Website Removed by the ISP; His Reasons For Burning the Koran Reprinted Here
Galloping Dhimmitude, the ISP that hosted Dove World (the site of Pastor Terry Jones's church) has removed the website. Now no one can read Pastor Jones's reasons for burning a Koran. However, Lawrence Auster has found a copy somewhere and reprinted Jones's list of reasons. They are reprinted below.
hereligionofpeace.com, Creeping Sharia, Answering Islam, Acts 17 Apologetics, and many more.
Ten Reasons to Burn a Koran - by Pastor Terry JonesHere are some additional thoughts and addendums from Jones's website:
On 9/11/10 we are burning Korans to raise awareness and warn. In a sense it is neither an act of love nor of hate. We see, as we state in the Ten Reasons below, that Islam is a danger. We are using this act to warn about the teaching and ideology of Islam, which we do hate as it is hateful. We do not hate any people, however. We love, as God loves, all the people in the world and we want them to come to a knowledge of the truth. To warn of danger and harm is a loving act. God is love and truth. If you know the truth it can set you free. The world is in bondage to the massive grip of the lies of Islam. These are:
One
The Koran teaches that Jesus Christ, the Crucified, Risen Son of God, King of Kings and Lord of Lords was NOT the Son of God, nor was he crucified (a well documented historical fact that ONLY Islam denies). This teaching removes the possibility of salvation and eternal life in heaven for all Islam's believers. They face eternal damnation in hell if they do not repent.
Two
The Koran does not have an eternal origin. It is not recorded in heaven. The Almighty God, Creator of the World, is NOT it's source. It is not holy. It's writings are human in origin, a concoction of old and new teachings. This has been stated and restated for centuries by scholars since Islam's beginnings, both Moslem and non-Moslem.
Three
The Koran's teaching includes Arabian idolatry, paganism, rites and rituals. These are demonic, an ongoing satanic stronghold under which Moslems and the world suffer.
Four
The earliest writings that are known to exist about the Prophet Mohammad were recorded 120 years after his death. All of the Islamic writings (the Koran and the Hadith, the biographies, the traditions and histories) are confused, contradictory and inconsistent. Maybe Mohammad never existed. We have no conclusive account about what he said or did. Yet Moslems follow the destructive teachings of Islam without question.
Five
Mohammad's life and message cannot be respected. The first Meccan period of his leadership seems to have been religiously motivated and a search for the truth. But in the second Medina period he was "corrupted by power and worldly ambitions." (Ibn Warraq) These are characteristics that God hates. They also led to political assassinations and massacres which continue to be carried out on a regular basis by his followers today.
Six
Islamic Law is totalitarian in nature. There is no separation of church and state. It is irrational. It is supposedly immutable and cannot be changed. It must be accepted without criticism. It has many similarities to Nazism, Communism and Fascism. It is not compatible with Western Civilization.
Seven
Islam is not compatible with democracy and human rights. The notion of a moral individual capable of making decisions and taking responsibility for them does not exist in Islam. The attitude towards women in Islam as inferior possessions of men has led to countless cases of mistreatment and abuse for which Moslem men receive little or no punishment, and in many cases are encouraged to commit such acts, and are even praised for them. This is a direct fruit of the teachings of the Koran.
Eight
A Muslim does not have the right to change his religion. Apostasy is punishable by death.
Nine
Deep in the Islamic teaching and culture is the irrational fear and loathing of the West.
Ten
Islam is a weapon of Arab imperialism and Islamic colonialism. Wherever Islam has or gains political power, Christians, Jews and all non-Moslems receive persecution, discrimination, are forced to convert. There are massacres and churches, synagogues, temples and other places of worship are destroyed.
From Acts 19 (Amplified)Unfortunately for Pastor Jones, several of the people he lists above have denounced his decision to burn the nasty little book.
**** 18Many also of those who were now believers came making*full confession and thoroughly exposing their [former deceptive and evil] practices.
*** 19And many of those who had practiced curious, magical arts collected their books and [throwing them, book after book, on the pile] burned them in the sight of everybody. When they counted the value of them, they found it amounted to 50,000 pieces of silver (about $9,300).
*** 20Thus the Word of the Lord [concerning the*attainment through Christ of eternal salvation in the kingdom of God] grew and spread and intensified, prevailing mightily.
Like the Christians in Acts 19, we are publicly burning a book that is demonic. Many of our greatest supporters are ex-Moslems. They know these evils first hand. We are not, like the Nazis, stealing books, destroying properties or harming any people. We are not Nazis nor are we like Nazis. The Christians in Acts 19 did not go on from their scroll burning to harm anyone. They used the public burning as an opportunity, a demonstration to preach the truth. Only to preach and leave the decision of whether to follow the truth or not.*
Do not forget POINT SIX. Islam (not us) is totalitarian in nature, like Nazism, Communism, and Fascism. This evil nature of Islam needs to be seen. Moslems around the world burn and kill on a regular basis, every week, properties and people. All you have to do is follow the news. The many death threats we are receiving, the warnings about terror attacks also prove our point.*Do Christians make these threats when Bibles or churches are burned? No.
We have fallen asleep since 9/11/01 and have been hoodwinked by the growth of a (for now) non violent Islam. Shall we give in to threats, then, and allow Islam to grow in America unopposed? We at Dove World Outreach Center will not, even if it costs us our lives. For those who support us, we say thank you for standing with us in courage. For those who oppose us, we say wake up and do not give in to the fear and lies!

Some more thoughts:
Are there other dangers and evils in the world? Of course. There are many we could and do address, but at this time we have a vision and a call to confront this great danger. Are there a lot of reasons NOT to do what we are doing? Yes, people have written and called with many reasons. I am sure the great men and women of faith in Hebrews 11 heard and thought of many reasons not to follow God’s word. But they followed God’s word.*
“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1
We are sure that the world needs to see this warning about the teachings of Islam at this time, in this way. We are certain of God’s plan for us here and now.*
For those that argue that we are not qualified to make the assertions about Islam that we do, this is ridiculous. We know what the Bible says about evil and the devil’s work and plans. Islam and the Koran clearly discredits itself. What we say about Islam has been said by many others. We may be the only organization burning Korans, but we are not alone in stating the Ten Reasons why the Koran is dangerous.*
We follow the work of many men and women of courage who are also putting their lives at risk to expose the evils of Islam. Islam simply hates public criticism, whether your burn Korans or not. Some are ex-Moslems, now Christian: Walid Shoebat, Nonie Darwish, Mosab Hassan Yousef, Nabil Quereshi, Simon Deng. Other ex-Moslems are: Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Wafa Sultan, Ibn Warraq, Brigitte Gabriel. Then there are many Christians, Jews and atheists writing, speaking and publishing on websites: Geert Wilders, Mark Steyn, Norman Podhoretz, Chris Logan, David Wood, Robert Spencer, Pamella Geller, Bill Warner, David Horowitz, Daniel Greenfield, thereligionofpeace.com, Creeping Sharia, Answering Islam, Acts 17 Apologetics, and many more.

Auster's Take on the Planned Burning of the Koran
From "View From the Right"
Why Jones is burning a Koran, by Lawrence AusterI do agree with Auster. I think his points above are so important that I decided to reprint them here. You can read the original here.
From the website of Terry Jones’s Dove World Outreach Center, an article dated September 2 on “Ten Reasons to Burn a Koran.” And here is a follow-up: “Five More Reasons to Burn the Koran.”
At the very least, one must say that Jones’s planned act is not mindless. He is performing a certain act, and he has laid out his reasons for performing it. His reasons are that Islam is anti-Christ, anti the West, anti liberty, and anti human decency. His view is that Islam is a danger to everything we cherish and everything we are. By burning a Koran, he is expressing his complete rejection of Islam, and causing other people to think about why he is rejecting Islam. Since I myself believe that Islam does not belong in the West, how can I condemn a man who is expressing the same idea through a strong symbolic act? An act that is not illegal and is not harming anyone. An act that will force people to think—is Islam the enemy of ourselves and of everything we cherish, or not? Does Islam belong among us, or not?
People are saying that the Koran burning will cause Muslims to kill innocent people. Perhaps it will. But the Danish cartoons caused Muslims to kill innocent people. Islam demands aggressive war against non-Muslims, including the killing of innocents, because from the Muslim point of view there is no such thing as an innocent non-Muslim. The clearest and most frequently repeated message of the Koran, appearing on almost every page, is that all non-Muslims are guilty of the monstrous crime of rejecting Allah, and deserve death and eternal torture. Why should we respect such a book? Why should we respect such a religion? Sooner or later, people in the West (and people in the non-Muslim world generally) must come to recognize the nature and teachings of Islam. They can have that recognition sooner, and prevent much violence, or they can have that recognition much later, only after Muslims have gained substantial power over our societies and get in a position to harm anyone who opposes them. My view is: the sooner the truth comes out, the better; the sooner things come to a head, the safer we will be.

OUTRAGE! Christian Church Will Burn Qurans on September 11, 2010! (I approve)
The Dove World Outreach Center in Gainsville, Florida plans to burn copies of the Quran. They will do this on September 11, 2010, to commemorate the ninth anniversary of the Islamic attack on New York. The talking heads have already begun their spin.
The left and their Islamic allies are "outraged." RINOs are expressing concern. Is burning the Quran the Christian thing to do? Won't we just alienate the Muslims even further? Will this come back to bite us in the butt? Oh look at me, I am so TOLERANT and RESPONSIBLE! I'm not like the unschooled rednecks who want to burn Qurans. Shall I pose for pictures now?
So they're outraged. Too bad. I am in a continual state of outrage every day that Nancy Pelosi is in office. I am outraged that I don't have gainful employment. I am outraged that I may lose my house. I am outraged that our Islamic enemies are building a triumphal mosque at the site of their greatest atrocity, where they no doubt will symbolically dance on our graves. I spend so much time being outraged that my outrage gland is cramping up and may shut down from sheer exhaustion. So I don't give a rat's rear end if leftists, Rinos and Muslims are outraged over the burning of this nasty, hateful little book. Welcome to the club, the Outrage Club. I am the frigging President.
Did the Quran cause the atrocity of 9/11? You bet your ass it did. Hatred, violence and intolerance are the key hallmarks of the Islamic religion. Whatever the bloody pirate "prophet" hated has been marked as a target for all time. The chief among these targets is the Infidel, i.e. those of us who reject this vile ideology.
So should you be OUTRAGED over Dove's planned burning of the Quran? I am not, any more than I would be if someone wanted to burn Mein Kampf, the Communist Manifesto or Mao's Little Red Book. In fact, I will visit some used bookstores and look for cheap copies of the Quran to burn on September 11. This will not accomplish much in the grand scheme of things, but it will very satisfying and will allow me to express my utter contempt for the Islamic "religion."
