Journaling reads: may your life be filled with beautiful sunsets, great waves and sand between your toes (I found this beautiful quote on Scrapbook.com and I felt in love with it!).
The second one is for the category FABULOUS: Bellissima.
Il secondo è per la categoria FABULOUS (favoloso): il mio LO si chiama Bellissima.
Bling cardstock: Bazzill. Patterned papers: Basic Grey Sultry. Chipboard letters: Toga.
I hand stitched some circles with purple woolen floss ;-).
Ho cucito a mano i cerchi con del filo di lana viola ;-).
I also submitted those LOs for the Design Team call on Scrapbooking Club Café: on the SCC blog there is the presentation of the new DT and our works (only in Italian).
Questi sono anche i LO che ho presentato a Scrapbooking Club Café per l'Help Wanted, la ricerca del nuovo team creativo. Date un'occhiata al blog di SCC per leggere qualche curiosità sulle nuove creative e vedere la carrellata di tutti i nostri lavori.

Che sorpresa!!!
^_^ ... non c'è niente di più bello che ricevere una sorpresa inaspettata, giusto? E' proprio quello che mi è successo questa mattina, quando aprendo la cassetta della posta mi sono ritrovata questo pacchettino ^_^ ! L'ho aperto tutta emozionata in 2 nanosecondi e davanti ai miei occhi si è materializzata questa meraviglia:
Insieme a questa fantastica matrioska porta set-da-cucito fatta con le sante manine di Franca, c'erano anche un utilissimo attrezzino che-non-so-come-si-chiama-ma-so-come-si-usa (ehehehhhh!!), una carinissima tag con fiorellino e delle fibre favolose tutte colorate che userò presto ;-).

'cause the weather is cooler,
'cause people come back to work (ehehhhh -diabolic grin-),
'cause my fave tv series are back on screen (...waiting so bad for Dexter 2° season!!!),
'cause the 17th is my birthday (gifts are soooo welcome!!! Ahahahhh!)
... and I also love so much these happy and lucky days,
'cause I won The Story Matters challenge #4 (o___0 ...still can't believe it!!!)
'cause I have many packages full of yummy goodies flying over the ocean to reach my scrappin' hands ;-P
'cause a cute girl from an amazing challenges blog asks me to be this month International Guest DTer :-D ... ssshhhh, still must be a secret ;-)
'cause I received very good news from the ladies of Scrapbooking Club Café (yep, I'm a new DT member ^_^ !)

Io adoro settembre,
...perchè fa un pò meno caldo,
...perchè tutti tornano al lavoro (ehehehhh, non sono più l'unica sfigata in ufficio!),
...perchè tornano le mie serie tv preferite (... non vedo l'ora di vedere la 2°stagione di Dexter!!!),
...perchè il 17 è il mio compleanno (e mi piace ricevere i regali, ahahahhh!),
e adoro queste giornate piene di belle novità che mi rendono allegra,
...per aver vinto la sfida #4 di The Story Matters (o___O, ancora non ci posso credere!!!),
...per avere tanti pacchettini pieni di sfiziose cosine che stanno attraversando l'oceano e che attendono solo di essere scrappate ;-P

Scrapmojo challenge #21
Hey all!
I had so much fun this time with the new Scrapmojo Challenge, ahahahhh ... We had to use a bumper sticker saying on the LO: I did a Google search and I found so many funny saying, LOL ... I decided to use Dog Is My Copilot 'cause I had the perfect pic for it, ;-).
We also had to use some plastic on the LO: I used the red plastic letters stolen from Gughi's magnetic blackboard, ehehhhh. Here it is:

Mi sono veramente divertita da matti con l'ultima sfida Scrapmojo, ahahhhh... Bisognava usare una delle frasi che si trovano stampate sui bumper sticker (che, per chi non lo sapesse, sono quegli adesivi rettangolari che tanti americani attaccano ai paraurti delle proprie auto, con frasi buffe, slogan e battute varie). Dopo una lunga ricerca su Google dove ho trovato centinaia di frasi esilaranti, ho scelto Dog is my Copilot, ehehhh...
Inoltre bisognava usare sul LO della plastica: io ho usato le lettere di plastica della lavagna magnetica della Gughi, attaccate con la colla a caldo ;-). Ecco qua il mio LO:

I <3 fabrics
Today I surfed the net looking for some cute fabrics to purchase, and I found this amazing on-line store: Nuno+.
^___^ ... I'm waiting to receive these adorable fabrics...
In questa giornata di afa e caldo torrido (settembre?!?), dopo aver sistemato la piccola Gughi dai miei, dopo essermi presa un bel pasticcone per l'emicrania ed aver aspettato che facesse il suo effetto, mi sono chiusa in camera con l'aria condizionata sparata a mille alla ricerca di qualche bella stoffina da comprare su internet ... ed ho trovato questo fantastico negozio: Nuno+. Ahahahh ...adesso sto aspettando di ricevere questi adorabili scampolini ...

The Story Matters challenge #4

let me share my entry for The Story Matters challenge #4: Who's in that family tree?
This is my dd Guendalina and me when I was almost 3 years old.
Journaling reads:
Gughi: August 2008. Mommy: summer 1977. After more than 30 years I look at you and I see me as a child: the same expressions, the same curly hair, the same likes ... that's way they say that you cannot pick an apple from an orange tree ;-). (ehehehhh, love this quote, thanks Elysia for letting me know it!).

Siamo io a quasi 3 anni e la Gughi. Nel journaling c'è scritto:
Gughi: agosto 2008. Mamma: estate 1977. A distanza di oltre 30 anni, guardando te rivedo me da bambina: le stesse espressioni, gli stessi riccioli, gli stessi gusti... come dire, da un melo non nasce un pero ;-).
Questo è uno dei miei proverbi preferiti, lo ripeto di continuo, ahahhhh. Un giorno la mia amica Elysia su Scrapbook.com mi ha detto che da loro, negli Stati Uniti, si dice: non puoi raccogliere mele da un arancio, ehehehhhh ... mi è piaciuto talmente tanto che ci è uscito il titolo!

Pencil Lines Sketch #99

Today I show you my latest LO:
Crocs Love.
It is based on Pencil Lines sketch #99. These are my dd Gughi tiny Crocs (size 20) and mine (size 38), ahahhhh ... we both love green ^_^! TFL

Oggi vi faccio vedere il mio ultimo LO: Crocs Love.
E' basato sullo sketch #99 di Pencil Lines e mostra le piccole Crocs della Gughi (nr. 20) vicino alle mie (nr. 38) ... ben 18 numeri di differenza, ehehehhh ... manco a dirlo, entrambe amiamo il verde ^_^.

Sopranos Style Commercials
Most of you already know that me and my family are HUGE fans of The Sopranos ... that's why we called our blog Satriale's Pork Store, ;-) !
Today, surfing the net, I found some funny commercials featuring Paulie Gualtieri (Tony Sirico) and Pussy Bompensiero (Vincent Pastore), ahahahhhh, take a look:
... this one totally cracks me up!
... and here is Vinny:
I also found the video of the demolition of Satriale's, The Sopranos' famous meeting place. It has been demolished to make way for new condos ;-( ...(for true fans of The Sopranos, this might be really hard to watch).... here you can find the authentic stones of the facade of the Pork Store... hurry up, quantities are very limited, ahahahhh!!!

Scrapmojo challenge #20
Hiiiii ^_^ !
Here I am with my latest LO.......... The Two-legged Zoo: lil' Gughi and the geese attack!
I did it for the Scrapmojo challenge #20: have to use any of the titles from School House Rocks collection and some glitter on the LO. I've chosen the title The Four-legged Zoo, and adapted it to my pic. I also glued some green glitter to the chipboard letters.
I distressed the edges of the pic using a technique explained by Scrapperlicious on her blog (thanks for sharing Irene!).

L'ho fatto per la sfida #20 di Scrapmojo: bisognava usare uno dei titoli degli episodi di School House Rocks e del glitter sul LO. Io ho scelto il titolo The Four-legged Zoo adattandolo alla mia foto. Ho inoltre applicato del glitter verde sulle lettere chipboard.
In questa pagina ho voluto provare ad usare una tecnica molto originale spiegata da Irene - Scrapperlicious sul suo blog: si tratta di invecchiare ed alterare i bordi delle foto usando fustelle e timbri per distressing. Ciao, alla prossima!

random things to share
Hey folks!
We had a great day in Senigallia last Sunday! I guess this one was the most amazing Summer Jamboree ever!
Lil' Gughi danced for hours with her friend Runa... on the main stage there was a great hillybilly concert... I ate tons of onion rings and tex-mex yummy food... Gughi ate her first cheesecake w/blueberries... there was a lot of cool stuff in the vintage market, and gorgeous cars and bikes ... and I forgot home my camera .... °___° !
Anyway ... I want to share some of the pretty things we bought there:

La piccola Gughi ha ballato per ore con la sua amica Runa nel prato della rocca ... sul palco principale abbiamo visto un divertentissimo concerto di musica hillybilly ... ho mangiato tonnellate di anelli di cipolla fritti e cibo tex-mex ... la Gu ha mangiato per la prima volta la cheesecake con i mirtilli ... il mercatino era pieno zeppo di roba fighissima, e belle macchine, belle moto ... ed io ho dimenticato a casa la macchina fotografica ... °___°!

We had a great day in Senigallia last Sunday! I guess this one was the most amazing Summer Jamboree ever!
Lil' Gughi danced for hours with her friend Runa... on the main stage there was a great hillybilly concert... I ate tons of onion rings and tex-mex yummy food... Gughi ate her first cheesecake w/blueberries... there was a lot of cool stuff in the vintage market, and gorgeous cars and bikes ... and I forgot home my camera .... °___° !
Anyway ... I want to share some of the pretty things we bought there:

Domenica siamo stati a Senigallia a quella che a mio avviso è stata finora la migliore edizione del Summer Jamboree, e ci siamo divertiti da matti!

Pencil Lines Sketch #97
Hi scrappers!
We came back a few days ago from our mini camping vacation in Carpegna with many funny pics ^_^ .... so I did this simple and fast LO, based on Pencil Lines Sketch #97.
This is me and my dd Guendalina having fun in the pool.
Journaling reads: "having so much fun in a small 4x3 meters swimming pool, in a camping site in the Carpegna woods, in the warm afternoon of the day before Ferragosto (August the 15th). Always stay this way, my little Gughi: simple, true, playful and able to enjoy the little things." TFL ^_^ !

Siamo tornati pochi giorni fa dalla nostra mini vacanza in campeggio a Carpegna con tante foto carine (... e una valanga di sonno arretrato!) ... così ho deciso di fare questa paginetta semplice e veloce, basata sullo sketch #97 di Pencil Lines.

Girls, I'm so excited!!!!
Yesterday, when we came back from our camping vacation in Carpegna (the pics are coming soon ;-)), I checked the blog and I found a message from Lucy (OMG: I said LUCY!). She told me to check the Category Stories blog, 'cause they had a little something for me ... I can't believe they choose my Sailor Jessica LO as the July Winner!!! Thanks sooo much girls <3!!! color="#cc33cc" size="2">Ragazze sono così emozionata!!! Ieri sera quando siamo tornati a casa dopo aver passato la notte di Ferragosto in campeggio in Carpegna (a breve saranno pronte le foto ;-)), ho controllato il blog ed ho trovato un messaggio di Lucy (omioddio: ho detto LUCY!!!). Diceva di controllare il blog di Category Stories perchè c'era un piccola sorpresa per me .... non ci posso credere!!! Il mio LO Sailor Jessica ha vinto la sfida di Luglio!!! Grazie di cuore ragazze!!!

Scampagnata al Furlo
