"Blue Happened"

"I pretty much used the sketch the way it was by putting it behind the photo. Of course, being me I added lots of layers! The color palette of the Flutter collection by Fancy Pants fit the color challenge perfectly. I ended up using three washi tapes, instead of two, because once I dug them out, I kept finding more!"

"Crazy Happy"

"Hi everyone, Carole here with you today with our OCTOBERFEST challenge. We have teamed up with three other challenge blogs and have combined four challenges into one, which has been great fun. So first of all , the Scrap Our Stash - challege is to include two different washi tapes seen in the bottom right hand corner. Challenge YOUrself - Create a layout that includes YOU in the photo.These are photos of me, which I rarely scrap as its usually me behind the camera. 

I used the My Scraps & More - Color Challenge using five different colors, and The Memory Nest - Sketch Challenge. 

I hope you like what I have come up with. Full instructions and stash used are on my blog.

"Always Croppin"

"What a fun challenge!! Here's my layout. I rotated the sketch (The Memory Nest), use Pebbles collection that match perfectly to the color combo challenge(My Scraps & More), scrapped a photo of my scrapping (Challenge YOUrself) and use 3 different washi tape (Scrap Our Stash)."

"I Am..."

"I loved this joint challenge because the ChallengeYOUrself challenge forced me to scrap a photo of myself, which I hardly ever do.   For the SOS Washi Tape Challenge, I adhered two different washi tapes to white cardstock and used my punches to create 2 tabs and 3 butterflies.  Because The Memory Nest's sketch did not require a lot of paper, I was able to use scraps and left over embellishments from the June 2015 DS  Kit from the ScrapRoom, which satisfied My Scraps & More's color combo challenge."

"I had so much fun combining these four challenges for the Scraptober Fest Challenge! I don't scrapbook pictures of me to often or even get into to many pictures but I'm trying. My daughter wanted to run a 5k with me last summer so I told her she would need to train (haha) she ran with me maybe three times I enjoyed each time it was fun motivating her. She did the 5k and loved it and even ran another on after that. 

I didn't change much from Leslie's sketch which was a lot of fun to work with. I had tons of fun with the colors they worked really well with my photos and of course I loved having to us washi tape I love it not sure if I use it enough but I sure like to collect it:)"

"The purchase of a new car is a special event to document, especially if the car is so amazing!

After 10 years of loyal service and more than 200000 kilometers, I traded in my old Honda Jazz to make way for a wonderful new Suzuki Vitara,  
that I love driving!!!"

This is a layout of a really great friend of mine and myself. We craft together, work out together and so many other activities. We both belong to a exercise group that has helped us in a major way to become more active on the pavement!

Hi everyone! I had such a great time working on this layout for FOUR different challenges combined for the Scraptober Fest Challenge Event!! I loved the beautiful color scheme, which was perfect for my photos from our recent vacation! It was also fun scrapping a photo with ME in it! In addition, I added 4 different types of washi tape (pink, yellow, blue, and aqua) to my page. Finally, I loved using the sketch, which I turned it on it's side and had some creative fun with it!

"I had so much fun combining these four challenges! The color combination was a struggle at first simply because I have very little pink in my stash. As I was going through my one and only Project Life collection, I found this oversized journal card that had most of the colors I needed and gave me some solid inspiration. I added some stitching in kraft under the title and also some kraft washi tape to the top and bottom of the page. This completed the color requirement. I used 4 different washi tapes for the stash challenge. The photo is me, of course, for the include YOU challenge. For the sketch, I was originally looking for a 3x4 journal card but found this larger one that grabbed my attention. I decided to make it work anyway. As a result, things shifted around a bit from the original sketch but the basic idea is still there. I hope you like it as much as I do!"

"Hi scrappers! I enjoyed creating this Combined layout because I love Simple Stories collection "I AM." I layered the back of the center photo then applied my fave chipboard clock. Then applied small pearls. I added ink stamping, enamel dots, and sequins on the background. The washi tapes are the polka dots at the top and gold script along the bottom. . Now it's your turn to created your layout. Can't wait to see your design. Happy Scrapping!"

 "This is such a fun challenge. I enjoyed so much making my layout by combining those four challenges. First I pulled out some patterned papers that match the colour challenge from „My Scrap And More“. Then I chose one of my selfie pictures to complete the challenge from „Challenge Yourself“. It might hard to see for you but you can see my reflektion right in the middle of the picture. The next step, I just followed the main design of the sketch by „The Memory Nest“. Last but not least, I added two Washi Tapes to my page to complete the challenge by „Scrap Our Stash. You can see the detail of my layout on my blog: www.tantikcreation.blogspot.de"

Sketch Challenge #29 ~ Guest Sketch Artist Audrey Yeager

Happy Saturday everyone!

Today we are revealing our August Sketch Challenge!

Bur first, we would like to introduce our 

August Sketch Artist

Audrey Yeager

"I am a thirty something stay-at-home mom to my kindergartener and pre-schooler. I started scrapbooking around 2005, although I have been "crafty" my entire life, dabbling in different crafts here and there. In 2007 I discovered the online world of scrapbooking, which totally changed the way I scrapbook. Since then, I've been on several teams for kit clubs, manufacturers, and challenge blogs. In January of 2014, I took over ownership of an online retail scrapbook store called 

My Scraps & More.

 I have an entire store in my basement, and it allows me the best of both worlds to work part time from home in the store and spend time with my kids, too! 

(Not to mention I get to scrap with ALL THE THINGS!)

I love to scrap about our everyday moments and try to record all those little things that are said and done. I'm also so glad that we live in a place like upstate NY where we experience every season because I love being able to change up my products and inspiration from one season to the next!

I love how scrapbooking can remove me from anything else I may have on my mind, and just take me to a place where all I think about are colors, patterns, and the memories behind this photo. I also love the social part of it, too, in going to crops and retreats, and the online support and camaraderie!

In addition to scrapbooking, I love to quilt and sew, garden, play volleyball, and watch movies and sci-fi TV series!
