Hello!!! For this card I got my card base and layering circles from the Smiley Cards cricut cartridge. I stamped the Pretty Perfect Grid from MarketStreetStamps onto the yellow circle with charcoal colorbox fluid chalk ink. I stamped the sentiment and the sun from the Sure Miss You set also from MarketStreetStamps using that same ink. Just a quick and simple card today. :)

I gave her a face from the Just Baby Faces set from PeachyKeenStamps.com. The super cute sentiment is from the All Star Baby set from MyCreativeTime. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BESTIE....I WUB YOU EMMA!!!! ANYHOO....I'm sorry I'm a little late, but my Mom's internet is rude sometimes....For my card I got the scalloped card base from the Smiley Cards cartridge. I cut out two circles and white embossed polka dots {someones fav!} using the medium Polka stamp from PeachyKeenStamps.com. Then I cut one in half and lined it up. The sentiment is from Emma's set called Mom You Rock. The cupcake is from the Rock Princess cartridge and the cute face is from the Wide Eyed Kids Assortment from PeachyKeenStamp.com.

Nobody Nose me like you

Hehehe I hope you're giggling...cuz I can't look at this card without giggling! HA This card was born as soon as I saw this sentiment from the Animated Greetings set from PinkByDesign. This funny birdy immediately popped into my head. ☺ The bird is from 3 Birds on Parade and the card base is from Smiley Cards.

Conserve Water, Drink Beer

Hello! I got new stamps from PinkByDesign in the mail yesterday...So I decided to play with em today! I used the NEW background stamp called Bubbly. I inked up the stamp with embossing ink and then put Tim Holtz distress ink over it and stamped on white cardstock. I heat embossed that with clear embossing powder. Then I used 3 colors of distress inks until I got the look I wanted. I cut the beer from the Smiley Cards cartridge and dry embossed it. Then I added 3 coats of UTEE to make the glass look real. After the last coat melted, I popped it in the freezer for a sec to make it crack a little. I swear it looks cool in real life.

The AWESOME sentiment is from the Just 4 Men set from PinkByDesign. I added Distress Rock Candy stickles to the foam...it's a really cool grungy look in real life! I hope you're having a GREAT Saturday!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!!

Today is my Mommy's birthday!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!! I know what you're thinking...Um, Nikki??? You know you put a skull on your Mom's birthday card, right??? Yes I do! My Mom is now an honorary Mexican {hehehehe they are ALWAYS in Mexico} and she LOVES these Mexican skull thingy's. I used the Smiley Cards cartridge for the card base and the "cute" skull came from Rock Princess.

I attached the skull with a wobble so it wiggles. ☺ I used Emma's Mom You Rock set for the sentiment on the from of the card and on the inside.....

The Happy Birthday stamp is from PaperTreyInk.com. Anyhoo, I hope you like your card Mommy!!! It will be waiting for you when you decide to come home from Mexico! hehehe

Hey everyone! Today is my design team day for Sarah {Pink Cricut}. She just released 6 new stamp sets, and they all totally ROCK! For my card I used Smiley Cards for the card base. The umbrella image is from Designers Calendar. I cut it twice in teal and once in white so I could cut it up and layer it.

I used my favorite Martha Stewart glitter and the addition of the PERFECT sentiment completes my card. This sentiment is from the Spring has Sprung set from PinkByDesign.

Happy BEE lated birthday

Hiya! I managed to get a quick birthday card made for a family friend right before my Father in Law got here on Saturday. I used my new Birthday Bash cartridge. The paper is from the Urban Prairie collection from Basic Grey which I seen to use EVERY time I make a bee project...It's just too cute!

OH, the card base is from Smiley Cards and I love it!!! Totally looks like a honey comb! ☺The adorable face is from the Critter Faces Large set from PeachyKeenStamps.com. On the inside I used the Happy BEE lated birthday stamp from PinkByDesign. I hope you are having a great day!

CHEERS! Using my NEW Smiley Cards!!!

Hiya friends! I got the update in my gypsy yesterday and this is my first creation using Smiley Cards. I LOVE this cartridge..SO CUTE! But for my beer, I didn't want it to be cutesy...So I hid the face that would cut otherwise. I ran the beer "foam" through the cuttlebug in the divine swirls folder. I used tea dye and vintage photo Tim Holtz Distress inks to mess it up a bit.

I ran the "mug" part through the cuttlebug in the distressed stripes folder. After that I saturated the paper with dazzle versamark ink...I then did a few coats of UTEE {ultra thick embossing enamel} to make the "glass". The dazzle ink makes it look like a frosted mug! It really looks cool in person! The sentiment is from the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun set from PinkByDesign. Ok, that's my card! I'm off to cut our stencils for our pumpkins!
