Be My Valentine - Heart Happiness

Happy Friday!  Do you have any fun plans for this weekend?  My husband and I have plans to go out with a friend tonight, and then it will be all about baking to get ready for a Youth Group bake sale on Sunday.

Today over at Stylin' Stampin' Inskpiration the design team is sharing some do it yourself valentine ideas.  I am sharing a card I made that I plan to give to my daughter.

Here is my card:

I used the Heart Happiness stamp set for the focus of my card.  I stamped the striped heart twice in Melon Mambo, and for the middle one, I stamped it with second generation Melon Mambo ink.  I added in the outline hearts with Calypso Coral ink, and then embossed some heart clusters with Gold Embossing Powder.  This piece is on top of a piece of Painted with Love designer series paper, on a Rich Razzleberry card base.  For my greeting, I used the valentine's day stamp from Teeny Tiny Wishes in Melon Mambo ink, on Whisper White.  I punched it out with the Classic Label Punch.

SSInk 3-d Valentines

Hello everyone!  Happy Hump-Day.  We have made it halfway through the week - and the weekend is starting to come into view!

Today, over at Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration we are sharing 3-D Valentine items.  I love making three-dimensional items, especially treat holders!  Who doesn't love a cute little pick me up?

Here is what I made:

This tiny little bag is made from a 3"x6" piece of Designer Series Paper.  I saw this on a YouTube video by Dawn on her channel - Dawn's Stamping Thoughts.

The bag holds 3-4 Hershey nuggets that I wrapped in coordinating designer series paper.  I decorated my bag with a red glimmer heart, and a greeting from the Ready to Pop stamp set.

Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration Challenge

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to Monday!  I hope you had a good weekend.  I had a great weekend.  On Saturday I hosted a meeting for the members of my team.  Yesterday, I held two of my monthly classes.  The first was a Birthday Card Stamp-a-Stack, and the second was a Quick and Easy cards class.

Monday means challenge day over at Stylin' Stampin' Inkspiration.  Today we have an Inkspiration Challenge going on.  I wasn't able to get my card posted in time to be with the Design Team posts.  But, I made a card, and wanted to play along anyway!

I tried to copy the ombre effect on the Inspiration heart.  I used the Sweet and Sassy Framelits to cut a heart out of the Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper.  I then sponged Pink Pirouette, Flirty Flamingo, and Melon Mambo onto the heart to create the ombre effect.
