#TGIF452 Gift Card Holder and Card All In One

For our latest challenge at #TGIF452 we are using up our scraps. I incorporated leftover Joy of Noel stamped and die cut pieces to decorate an In Color Treat Bag into a gift card holder.

#TGIF451 Joyous White Christmas

With a theme like "White Christmas" you can create just about anything Christmassy. I automatically think of Bing Crosby and the holiday classic movie "White Christmas." My mind goes to the music, the costumes, the set design, and how festive the movie is and how it conjures such happy holiday thoughts. So, for this #TGIF451 challenge I went with classic Christmas colors and patterns. I used the Joy of Noel Bundle to put together these fancy watercolored gift tags.

Joy of Noel

Welcome stampin' friends to another Monday Montage Blog Hop. For this go 'round I thought I would share a card I made using the Joy of Noel Bundle. I love the mix of Pebbled Path with Lost Lagoon, Crumb Cake, Soft Seafoam, and Gold Glimmer.

I love how the Joy of Noel Dies includes a piece that is designed to accentuate the NOEL letters. The die has five leaf branches. Three are straight and two are curved to fit the letter O. It's so smart on Stampin' Up!'s part to make this cool addition to the design of these dies.

There is also a small circle die that is perfect for making berries. I die cut five to accent the letters. After I had them adhered to my card I applied Fine Tip Liquid Glue to them. Once the glue was dry the finished look is like an enamel dot.

Next up in our hop is Wendy or if you're moving in the opposite direction you can go back to Dani.

Artisan Post #14 - Joy of Noel

The Joy of Noel Bundle was my Artisan Design Team assignment for September. It's a classic Christmas stamp set and coordinating dies that warms my heart. The noel image and matching die is reminiscent and retro while the hand drawn greenery and holly sprays are fresh and fashion forward.

For this first card I used one of the Basics Embossing Folders to bring out the small red berries and the red faceted gems. Each of the berries is covered with a small dot of Fine Tip Glue. The glue dries clear and adds a gorgeous glossy dimension.

I fussy cut images from the Joy of Christmas DSP to decorate this small gift box.  All of the pieces are adhered to a belly band which makes it easy to slip off and fill the package with something special.

Accenting the box is some of the gold ribbon from the Gold & Silver 1/8" Ribbon Combo Pack. That pack is part of the online exclusives, so you won't find it in any of SU!'s catalogs. I think it's one of the best combo packs for Christmas and holiday paper crafting.

The Joy of Noel Bundle is perfect for making wreaths! I mounted this wreath on a Pebbled Path 2023-2025 In Color Treat Bag.

Diamond Fold Bag/Box

I made this cool diamond fold bag/box with two pieces of 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" Cherry Cobbler Cardstock and my two hands! It looks super fancy, but it really is rather simple to put together. I taught how to make this in my last Technique Time! Stamp Class.

I decorated the box with the Joy of Noel Bundle and the Joy of Christmas DSP. My ink colors include Tuxedo Black Memento and Poppy Parade Ink Pads. I colored the stamped image with Bubble Bath, Flirty Flamingo, and Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends. I think my favorite added detail on this project is the ultra thin mat of Basic Black behind the DSP. It's actually not cardstock. I used a Basic Black Stampin' Blend to edge the paper. It's super easy and totally effective--try it someday.

The Joy of Noel

It's sketch time over at Hand Stamped Sentiments. I used the Joy of Noel Bundle to bring this layout to life. While the colors are navy and gold, which I don't think of as being bride, this card packs a punch of in your face glow.
