Artisan Post #18 - Secret Santas

The 2023 Artisan Design Team did some "Secret Santa stamping." To kick off the spirit of the season we each drew names and then cased a project made by the name of the person we drew. I drew the coolest name ever! I love her stampin' style, however it was hard to pick one project of hers because they are all so filled with fabulous details. Can you guess who I cased?

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Berdien Weideveld! I tried to channel Berdien's impeccable style. I layered circles and squares to set the stage for layers of playful flowers and a cheerful bee.

Making Birthday Cards for Stampin' Fancy Friday

For this birthday card I used the Fancy Flora DSP as a motivator for my color palette and style. I included a bit of shabby and distressed details to complete this rather feminine and flowery card with the Petal Park Bundle and Sentimental Park Stamp Set.

Petal Park for Monday Montage

Have you created anything using the Petal Park Bundle? The stamp and punch combo is such a treat. You get three flowers in one stamp and you can punch them all out with one squeeze. For today's Monday Montage Blog Hop I am sharing a spring colored "thank you" card showcasing the Petal Park Bundle and several other Jan-Apr Mini Catalog products.

I have included the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder (a must have), the Sentimental Park Dies, and the Something Fancy Bundle. Also I used scraps from my desk which were cut from Stitched Rectangles and Basic Borders Dies. This is one of those cards where you create to your hearts content.

I do believe the inside of the card needs to be just as pretty. Everything I used for the interior of the card I used on the front. I didn't add any new product. The background stamps are from Petal Park and the label and greeting are from the Something Fancy Bundle.

Okay folks that's it for me today. Next up is Emily or you can work backwards and head over to Cheryl's blog. Enjoy and happy stampin'.

#TGIF409 Layered Shapes

For #TGIF409 we are layering shapes. I grabbed my most used set of shape dies, Stylish Shapes, to create a geometric shaped layered background for some punched flowers.

#TGIF407 Like An Animal

It's sketch time at #TGIF407. I grabbed the pack of Like An Animal Specialty DSP to match the sketch. Then I added scraps from my stamp desk to zhuzh it up a bit.

Along with the Basic Grey and Silver Foil colors I have used Rose Gold, Petal Pink, and Blushing Bride. The flowers were punched with the Petal Park Punch and the centers are the pinkish purple Milky Dots. The other dies include Organic Beauty, Cottage Flowers, and Stylish Shapes. The greeting comes from the Sentimental Park Stamp Set. So, you see this is really a "card salad." I used up scraps from my desk!

Creation Station is Simple and Sweet

Happy February and welcome to our Creation Station Blog Hop. This month's theme is "Simple and Sweet." With that theme we could craft anything we could dream up. We just needed to be inspired by the idea of "simple and sweet."

My idea was to create a fuss-free layer-free breezy style card and then a second card to match that would be just a bit more embellished with sweet punched and/or die cut details. To bring my ideas to fruition I pulled out the Petal Park and Sentimental Park Bundles. I decided I would go classic and stamp on Basic White. My ink colors include Soft Seafoam and Calypso Coral.

For this first simple card I used the Petal Park Stamp Set and the matching Petal Park Builder Punch. I had just a bit of Calypso Coral Baker's Twine leftover from a Paper Pumpkin Kit.  Just enough for a shoestring bow for each card.

For this second card I added a die cut to layer behind three hand-punched and scrunched flowers. The ornate label die cut is from the Sentimental Park Dies.

Here's a close up of the Petal Park Builder Punch flowers. Each is finished with a large Iridescent Rhinestone.

I'm so happy you have visited with me today. Continue along with our Creation Station Blog Hop to get your fill of "stampinpiration." Next up is the lovely Barb Pfeffer Be sure to see what "Simple and Sweet" surprise she has for you.
