SUNDAY CHALLENGE 2/28/10

Good work on challenges scrappers. For those of you who are still working on them email them in anytime if you want. Now, for this week. I walked by a game of Jacks this weekend and it brought me back to those simple games, the non electronic ones.. LOL. so, this challenge, lets use an item (sticker, brad, picture, etc.) that is from a childhood song or game and incorporate it on a page. ie" "button, button, who's got the button", or "duck, duck goose" you get the idea?? I think I may already have one! We may even have fun guessing each others theme when done!

YOUR LIFE 2010

Don't forget about YOUR LIFE 2010, It's the end of February. Make a lasting memory of February 2010. Amanda and I are working on this huge posterboard and we printed out our title and put down, and are gluing down movie ticket stubs we've seen. We are planning on picking different things and/or pictures of stuff that all of us do and putting it on the board. When this one is full, we'll take pics of it, then we'll fill another and so on....It'll be interesting January 2011 to see what's there!

CHALLENGE by KEL DONE

OK, OK,, I am so cheating on this.. LOL. I did this in Oct. of 08, but it truly does show my family doing something fun together. we LOVE doing big breakfasts! Everybody pitches in, we have some of our favorite foods and covnersations smile for the rest of the day, we are so full! It's something I would like my kids to look back and smile about.

Best Hobby Eva - Challenge is complete

Ok, for this challenge I chose a something that happens EVERY single day in my house. When our dog was a puppy the kids would fight who he would sleep with. To make it fair we came up with a schedule for the dog. So we where hear the same question everyday, whose night is it? So I took picture of the dog sleeping with both boys and did a page. I really think this is a memory they will have forever and to have it on a page is awesome!! Thanks, Kelly!! Great challenge

SUNDAY CHALLENGE

This week,let's think about family. Sometimes I think we get caught up on the BIG stuff. Getting that just right pic of the kids under the Christmas tree or posing perfectly by the "Welcome to Maine" sign. How about those little great moments at the dinner table, or walking the kids to the bus stop, watching a family movie together, Getting dad pulling up after a long day at work, mom fast asleep after 3 hrs. of laundry, reading stories together, scrapping together :)Even taking out the trash in your house could make for some great stories! I wish I had a picture of my dad watching Lawrence Welk, now THAT would be a gas!! LOL. I bet we have a lot to say about these "little" things. They happen and are part of of lives. Parts that I know I want to remember :) How about you?

Here is my attempt at a paper bag mini album. They seem to be one of the rages running around the internet so I thought I'd try it. It was fun to do and cheap. It's a great way to use up scrap papers. I was thinking of
