Good Monday (yet again) Morning Ya' all!! I had to share my new shelf, aka the Cricut station with you. I was in Target the other day and I was looking for a new shelf unit for the scrap cave. I found this one and it was $35 and I put it together myself, no tools necessary!! Can you believe it, I didn't have to wait around for my hubby to put it together. I found the green baskets and the pretty green lamp at Target too. Took my a whole day to get my scrap room in shape for the the new shelf, but well worth it. I love how it fits my cricut, the mats and paper!! In the little draws I have my cricut tools, markers and some cartridges. Have a great Monday and thanks for stopping by!!

Outside the Layout Day 2
Here is a project that my son did on Sir Isaac Newton. We started with a shoe box and then our imaginations just ran. We cut out the trees from the Cricut and the "Sir Isaac Newton" doll was cut out from the Cricut. See the Cricut is not just for scrapbooking and cards. I was so happy to show this to my hubby and prove that the Cricut is a wonderful tool, lol.
We found a chipboard like ornament and my son painted it red. He came up with the clever idea to write the formula around the apple (the teacher thought that was a great idea).

My hubby and son came up with the idea to have the apple fall. The stuck a toothpick in the top of the box and when you pulled the toothpick out the apple fell.
We also used some patterned paper for the grass as well as for the clouds in the back ground. It really was a fun and easy project.
Notice to the right of the project it the card Dawn made us for Halloween, didn't plan that, lol!!
Have a great day.

Vinyl Wall Art
Happy Hump Day, crafters! It was soooo good to see Kelly, Laurie and Susan on Friday night. We had lots of fun! I played with vinyl all night, making some cuts for my DD's bedroom walls. Laurie let me use her E2, so that I could make nice big images. I used the Rock Princess cartridge for all the cuts - such a cute cart! I picked fun, tween colors, instead of going with tradional colors. I got them a while ago from our friend Nick at Craft Vinyl. They have great colors and all sorts of sizes from which to choose. All the images layered easily. I think that I forgot some layers on the motorcycle chick; I am going to have to take a look at it again. But DD loves them, and that's what counts!

SHE HAS ARRIVED, SHE HAS ARRIVED
I am so excited. My E2 has arrived and a week early! I love me some HSN. I was able to play with it a little big Monday night, but haven't been down to the scrapcave to visit her since then.I hope she is ok!! I am hoping this weekend!! It comes with 4 really fun cartridges.![](http://library.vu.edu.pk/cgi-bin/nph-proxy.cgi/000100A/https/blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUIWYXLi3nCgxX7csEv1-RZ2gBC_hUh6pPmiVhSZwsVj0V2AlgxS4IGO9sYRsMNVDgiLoEpsZnr1ojKLLwRZtrXgNEB0y_PDXixhovAczG43Dcc-hpcMoEv9AmKsVSdQLbW8PTBuO2szZ2/s200/E2+Pics+=25252815=252529.JPG)
This is a picture of the screen with images ready to be cut on it. I love this because it shows exactly where they will cut on the mat. Really no more guessing the size it will print.

And then she tells you when she is cutting, so sweet and smart!!! LOL

Here she is in all her cutting glory.

I was just playing around with all the screens! I hit fill the page and look at what happened! It's like an E2 miracle.
I am loving the touch screen, it is super easy to use. I know that Kel has the Gypsy and the touch screen is not so easy. They must have taken that into consideration. I have to say right of the box, I was able to cut without to much fanfare. I am really digging it so far.

I do have a question for those that have one. Can you move the image around on the mat? I can't see to do that.

EXPLORING CRICUT CARTRIDGES, Day 4
Here is a fun layout I did and think I overdid it.. LOL I was like a mad scientist "evil laugh included" when I was doing this page. LOL. I just couldn't stop adding things! Muahhahhahhahaaa!. I used just about everything.. Lemme see if I can break it down. The lettering is from the new CM cartridge, If ya can swing it,, GET THIS.. it's a goodie!! I think the butterflies are from grafically speaking??. The clock is from Heidi Swapp, the papers are from my stash. the lil blue stamped flowers in the corner are SU! I used two punches on this , a corner punch from SU! and the border scallop"ish" punch is Fiskars. I keep my flowers all in a box together so I don't even want to guess where they all came from. Everything I inked was SU! inks spots, brights I believe. I need to start making notes when I scrap.. So, I just made a note, to get a note pad to use specifically to take notes when I scrap.. LOL ![](http://library.vu.edu.pk/cgi-bin/nph-proxy.cgi/000100A/https/blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimMIrlbaVeyGnvdKRWdqxkkS7DAXfoQ9HOrKWKo0yiXZD7re-YqQUAwJoLuDH9m4BoObH2Q5D5MCS0Ka1yyu__eUeBJv-0PEWBwknj2-vG9pj9PN0wyfSnOaNBo8_3MdR42urceUVTjWua/s400/IMG_2680.JPG)
