I've Met My Match~

Hey there. It's time to get sketchy. That's right, today I have MFTWSC34 to share with you. I just love My Favorite Things products and the sketches are so much fun to play along with!

I must admit that the whole tilted panel freaks me out just a tad. I just want to straighten it out. I guess they don't call it a challenge for nothing. LOL!

I inked up my brand new À La Mode I've Met My Match and colored her in with Copics and paper pieced her dress. I got this lovely little lady a few weeks ago when I won blog candy from Joanne B! The DP is Basic Grey with machine stitching. Yeah, I LOVE my stitching! :) I have more to share for today. Be back soon!

Black and Blue~

I am on a posting roll today! What can I say, I just want to share these lovely little creations. I managed to get a little stamping time in today. Always a plus, I think! I had two challenges in mind when I started this card and then it just kinda took off from there. First, this weeks Mojo Monday #204 sketch challenge. They always have such inspirational challenges over there! Next, I created a boy themed card with a button or brad for the Pixie Dust Studio Challenge #87.

I got to use my new Zeeba the Zebra digi that I won from last weeks Pixie Dust Studio Challenge! How fun is that?

This little guy really is just the sweetest! The best part is my 5 year old has a stuffed zebra. They are like best mates! So this image is pretty much perfect! ;) Now in true Steph style I managed to squeeze a few more challenges out of this card. Yahoo! The PIL (Pile It On) challenge is to use three different shades of BLUE. The Pink Elephant Challenge #112 is to use "Stitching". Which is definitely one of my very favorite techniques. Lastly, we have the lovely challenge from the Ribbon Carousel #15 is "Get Edgy".

Doesn't that sound like fun?!!! So, I distressed the edges of my DP with ink and roughed them up a bit. Don't worry no cardstock was harmed in the making of this card, only enhanced! ;)

The DP for this card is a random mixture of scraps. Yes, it's scraptacular if you will! Anyway, back to the paper which is from SU!, Scenic Route, and American Crafts. Thanks so much for stopping by. I can almost guarantee that this is indeed my final post for the day. LOL.

Challenge a Go Go~

Hidee Ho stampers. Another quick post to share with you. I made this seriously delicious little card by combining not two but THREE challenges!!!

Amazing, I know! I started with this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge. I always want to play and rarely find time!

It's such a cute sketch, don't ya think! Next I added the oh, so lovely ColourQ Challenge to the mix.

Talk about color inspiration. I didn't have Pool Party so I substituted Soft Sky. I hope this is a close match. I haven't seen Pool Party yet. Lastly, I added The Pink Elephant Challenge #111. The theme was to use a butterfly. Perfection!

I did take a few liberties with the sketch. Originally I intended for my card to be vertical but, the oh so fabulous Chloe and The Mushroom (by CS Designs) just wouldn't fit. So, I switched gears, flipped my cards around and there you have it. She is popping off of the card. I created my own pattern paper with two SU! stamp sets and the Colour Q palette. Not too shabby if I do say so myself! Thanks so much for stopping by. As always your comments are appreciated! TTFN~

Little Lollipop~

I had a few minutes to stamp before work today so I decided to take a crack at this weeks The Pink Elephant Challenge #110. This week they have a fabulous little sketch to play with! Super fun!

I decided to go with a fun scallop circle card. I started out with a base of Crushed Curry cardstock, which is much brighter then I would normally choose. I mean my favorite cardstock is Kraft. LOL. I paired it with some delicious MME Sophia Rose DP. Can we say "Yummy"?

I colored sweet Lollipop Hannah with Copic Markers. She is such a doll! :) This card is pretty Prima heavy especially, for being so small. I think it works though! A bit of faux stitching with my white gel pen, double eyelet punch border and white grosgrain finish it off. Thanks so much for stopping by!

A Perfect Storm of Challenges~

Hiya Stampers. I have so much to share with you today. I had to work this weekend so not much stamping for me. No worries, I am back with a scrumptious little card to share! :) This card is based on four fun little challenges or what I like to think of as THE PERFECT STORM of CHALLENGES. With their inspiration combined I managed to create what I consider to be a pretty sweet card.
Challenge #1 is Mojo Monday. They are celebrating this week with their 200th challenge. Can you believe it? That's 200 weeks worth of amazing and inspiring challenges. A huge thank you and round of applause to the fabulous girls at Mojo Monday for all that they do to keep us playing every week!

Isn't that a fabulous little sketch!!!
Challenge #2 is courtesy of The Pink Elephant. It's photo inspiration and Challenge #108.

Now, I don't know about you but this lovely photo made me both hungry for cupcakes and for crafting. So yummy!
Challenge #3- Is from Pollycraft Monday. They challenged us to create with a Summer Theme.
Challenge #4 hails from Pixie Dust Studio challenge #83 and the theme is Girly Girly. There you have it, 4 challenges all teaming up to create this masterpiece. Drum roll please......

Quite lovely, if I do say so myself! :) Let me introduce you to Pixie from the afore mentioned Pixie Dust Studio. She is a doll! I stumbled upon her the other day when I was perusing some lovely stamping blogs. It was LOVE! Such an adorable design! How could I not indulge and treat myself to one or *ahem* a few Pixies? It really was hard to narrow it down. I can't wait to share the other ones that I purchased later in the week. That about does it for now. I have crafting to do!

I Played Here too~
