nursery happened!

This was the first time in Sam's little life that he went to nursery and there were no tears, and he stayed! I really could not believe it. I was about ready to tell the bishop that he may as well call me to nursery because I was going to be there anyway. I really wanted him to go becuase he is so attatched to his "people" (Mom, Dad, Grandma) I really fell like I need the break and he needs the social experience of it. So my sister-in-law suggested I stay with him for 5 minutes then leave for 5 minutes. then stay for 5 and leave for 10, and so on. I was skeptical but it WORKED! by the 3rd time I came back in there, he was sitting happily, eating crackers. I went to give him a hug and see how he was doing. I was probably a little over exuberant in my "good boy" praises. He just looked at me and said "Go to you class mom." Can 2 year olds be embarassed by their mothers? I suppose he looked a little uncool in front of his diaper wearing amigos.

Mikelle never once went to nursery without Mike or me. They finally ended up calling us to the nursery. Are you still in the student ward, or do you go to your parents?

YEAH!!! Did you just love it? We have been lucky. Erika has always loved nursery. She just loves to go to church and play with the kids and sing songs. Those pics of Steve and Sam are adorable!!

Your lucky, we don't even have a nursury. We did when Malynda was 3 and my friends daughter was 2 (guess who was in charge?). THey started joining the nursury and primary when Blake was 2 1/2. Now there isn't one again yeah!! (not)
