Art Impressions Challenge #386 My Favorite Peeps

I'm joining the current challenge at Art Impressions with a fun faux center step card design.  My card features Art Impressions Loads of Fun set.  The set has great coordinating sentiments for the images.

I decided to use the faux center step card fold to focus on the main image.  I think the design gives the impression that she is surfing the waves!  Love it!

I created the faux step card using this pattern from The Stamp Camp website.

The finished card folds down for mailing in an A2 envelope.  The image was colored with alcohol markers, die cut then layered onto the faux step panel.  Designer papers are from my stash.

I would like to share my card with the following:

Art Impressions Challenge #307 Birthday Cards

I'm sharing a clean and simple birthday card design for the current Art Impressions Challenge.  My card features the adorable AI Loads of Fun set.

The image was stamped with Hero Arts INTENS-ified black ink and colored with Prismacolor pencils.  A layer of Stampin' Up! Real Red card stock borders the panel.

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #328

I'm getting a head start on my Mother's Day
cards and this sweet little PI image from
MFT fit perfectly.

This is now retired, but Lisa Lynn used
this sweetie recently and inspired me
to pull it out, dust it off and ink!

I started by stamping the image onto
Stampin' Up! Whisper White card stock.
The image was masked and the
washer/dryer image from There She Goes
(Sadly out of business) was stamped.
I fussy cut the scene and layered it
onto the floral paper hoping it would
appear as wallpaper.

A machine stitched border and
Mother's Day sentiment from
Sugar Pea Designs finish the card.

Thanks for stopping by for a closer look!

My project uses "Loads of Fun" by There She Goes.  This was the first set I purchased from TSG.  The images and sentiments in the set are so much fun to use!  I've colored the images with Copic Markers and combined them with papers from the new Basic Grey Shine On paper pad.  The clouds and grass were cut using Die-namics from My Favorite Things.

I am new to the TSG stamping company and I'm loving it more and more!  Each release brings something new and exciting.  The product quality is fabulous as well.
Please click on the InLinkz below and follow it to the next blog!  Thanks for stopping by and joining the hop with us this week.  I enjoy reading all of your comments!

There She Goes Sketch Challenge: TSG150 Metal Embellishment

I had so much fun participating in my first There She Goes Challenge that I am playing again this week! Candace has challenged us to make a project or card using metal embellishments.

I used metal brads as an embellishment. The image and sentiment are from the "Loads of Fun" set. The Spotlighting technique was used with the laundry basket image. It's a really fun technique with an effective result. This card also uses the color challenge combo from Splitcoast Stampers: Peach Parfait, Pool Party and Lucky Limeade.

Supplies:
Stampin' Up! In-Colors and designer papers. Base is Gina K Pure Luxury 120 weight.
There She Goes "Loads of Fun" stamp set
Cuttlebug embossing folder, Copic Markers and Memento ink

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look! Have a great week.

There She Goes Sketch Challenge: TSG149

While checking out the recent release for There She Goes Clear Stamps, I came across their weekly sketch challenge. Sketch challenges are definitely my favorite so I thought I would give it a try!

Below is my take on this week's sketch:

I used "Loads of Fun" by There She Goes. This is such a fun set and perfect for any domestic diva! I always like having a few Anniversary cards handy and this was the perfect combo of image and sentiment. The designer paper is from Lime Twist Life of the party paper pad and SU Chocolate Chip card base. I added a baker's twine and machine stitching for the finishing touches.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!
