Deep Ocean Challenge DT Card

Hello everyone I'm running a wee bit late with this one oops, my bad, sorry peeps :-(

Its time for a brand new challenge over at Deep Ocean Challenge & this fortnight its soooooo easy so no excuse not to join in.......

This is your prize from Marianne Design

Ok I've had quite a bit going on this last week or 2 & totally forgot about my DT make.......however I do have a couple of cards that I have never blogged. This one was a commission I made back in May for a Ruby Anniversary in June.

Ok I will try my best remember what I used. I know the papers are all Maja Design, the red ones are from the Gift For You christmas collection, this is one of my favourite collections & my utter favourite christmas collection.......lots of it can be used all year round....love that kinda paper ;-)

The Scrapiniec is from Noor Design UK as are some of the flowers, all the flowers are WOC.

The centre is made up of 2 hearts together.......its love at its best, the big heart (aka the man) embracing the smaller heart (aka the woman). For the hearts I used my spellbinder dies.

I added a sentiment across the centre from LOTV, I used a Banner Die & then cut out & layered up some small hearts.

Inisde of course is decorated. The lace was from Live & Love Crafts, the leaf dies are from Noor Design UK & the flowery round die is a Memory Box die.

Noor Design UK Challenge 22

Hello how are you all?

Well its the 1st of the Month so that means its time for a brand new challenge over at Noor Design UK & this month its a super easy one that lots of you will love....

FLOWERS & LACE

.....see told you lots of you will love it ;-)

So I decided to make a christmas card as Tracy sent me some fabulous Pion papers in my DT pack.........

I love these images they are fabulous. I placed this on a Scrapiniec Chipboard frame which got a coat of white spray then sprinkled with glitter........christmas means bling, right ;-)

I added Lace Grace but cut in half....the fabulous thing about this lace is you can either keep it wide which looks gorgeous or cut it in half....which then gives you double the amount for the same price........now that sounds good doesnt it ;-)

I used some seam binding from Noor Design UK but put it through the GSD straightners to straighten it.......I like it both ways wrinkly or straight lol. Have you seen the gorgeous droolworthy button in the centre......OMGoodness its so so pretty.

You can also see the sparkle off the glitter on the Scrapiniec frame on this pic a bit.

Of course I decorated inside to compliment the front as always & machine stitched all layers.

The holly leaves I added spots of Glossy Accents to make them look like water droplets. The spots on the Reindeers I made using Gesso.

LOVE THAT DRESS

Hello everyone how are you all? Hope those in the UK had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend, the weather up here in the North East was beautiful all day.....made a nice change for a Bank Holiday lol.

Ok you havn't come here to hear about the weather here by the sea have you.....so how about seeing one of the fabulous new stamps Tracy has in her store over at Noor Design UK......

She is called 'Love The Dress' & is a new rubber stamp from Little Darlings....all links below.

She comes with a sentiment & a few other bits which I didnt add........good thing about these stamps is you can mix & match ;-)

I coloured her on Fabriano.........seriously if you have not tried this watercolour paper its the bomb as they say lol....my old favourite was Langton but this is loads better!!

I added beautiful pink lace Estelle & pink rose trim. The papers are the beautiful 'Just Love Me' by Lemoncraft & I inked all the edges with pumice stone & machine stitched.

The image is cut with Little Dalrings Gilded Oval & I added the scrolly bit at the bottom, I cut this twice, one in white card & then layered it up in the same paper I've used on the card. I then added one of the fabulous new centres Tracy has in.........this really is so pretty.

Of course flowers from Noor Design UK & I added Moss in as well which adds a perfect touch.....love this stuff, so beware you will be seeing it lots!!

Around the image I also used the Dutch Doobadoo Mask Art A6 Stars, I used pumice stone ink but dabbed the excess off on a scrap bit of paper so it was lighter & didnt overpower the image...love the effect it gives & thought she deserved the extra ;-)

NOOR DESIGN UK DT CARD

Hello everyone how are you all, hope you have had a weekend of lovely weather like we have up here by the sea......its been glorious, long may it last ;-) We had a lovely weekend away.

I'm here today with my DT for Noor Design UK & I have some pink, some shabby chic & some Scrapiniec........what a perfect combination :-)

I have used the beautiful LemonCraft 'Just Love Me' papers which have had their edges inked with pumice stone, distressed & then machine stitched.........this really is such a beautiful pad. Available in 12x12 & 6x6.........I have used the 6x6.

I have added some more Scrapiniec chipboard at the side amongst the gorgeous flowers.

I've also sneaked a doily under there ;-)

I've added lots of Tracy's beautiful flowers, berries & Pomegranate Apples.......I also added a LemonCraft Button from the Just Love Me collection....it was perfect as it had a bird on it ;-)

Isn't this Lace Gwendoline just divine.......omgoodness it really is to die for, sooooo pretty.

I just had to take a close up for you.......

I used the Little Darlings Gilded Oval die to place my Scrapiniec Bird & Cage on, the chipboard was sprayed with white paint......any spray paint will do it. I also use white florist spray sometimes but its more subtle & softer, I usually use that for flowers to soften the colour sometimes.
