Dancing In The Rain

Hello everyone how are you all?
I'm here with a card I made probably just over a week ago, the image I coloured as soon as I got & I think she was released a couple of weeks ago as a digi......its took me this long because I'm really not happy with the colouring on the image.... However we show our highs & lows on our blogs......so here it is...
The fabulous image is called 'Dancing In The Rain Marci' & she is a digi image from La La Land Crafts, she was released last year in a club kit & now has been released as a digi. As soon as I saw her I had to have her.
I have colour her on Canson with distress ink markers & refills. I'm going to colour her again but this time on the fabulous Fabriano paper that Tracy stocks over at Noor Design UK.....it really is a much better paper....so will do a comparison after I have done it.

I have used a few La La Land dies, the Heart Fence, Scalloped Border & the Butterly. The butterfly I've used both dies & layered them on top of each other. Pearl string down the middle & an edging of glitter around her wings. Flowers are a mixture of WOCNoor Design UK.

The paper is by First Edition & is called 'The Promise' had this a while & cant remember where I got it from, I've used the 8x8 pad on this & inked all edges with pumice stone.
Lace is from my stash, although the pink one I think was from LLC.

I have to say I lurve this image & will cant wait to colour her again, so I will be back with a comparison lol.

Well I'm off now I have the lawn to cut, washing to peg out & I have my grandchildren later which we have promised to take them shopping for new toys & shoes...yayyyy ;-)

Thanks for stopping by & your lovely comments, enjoy your weekend.
Tatty bye & nig hugs

Precious Little Miracle

Hello all you lovely peeps out there, how are you all?
We have beautiful weather up in the northeast today.......sun is shinging so bright & after a week of miserbale weather it makes a nice change.

Well me & hubster are away for a few days tomorrow on our lonesome......well & the dog lol. Natalie is away to respite for 3 nights so we having 3 nights away......normally we go with all the family but as they are week days my sons are at work. So its just hubster, me & Holly for some quality time together, really looking forward to it.

Ok now this is the first card back that I made when I started crafting again...........I do love La La Land images & have told myself to use them more this year.
I have used one of my favourite pads by one of my favourite companies, yep Maja Design & these papers are from the 6x6 pad 'Vintage Baby' from Live & Love Crafts.
I inked all the edges with Walnut distress ink.......I think lol. I should have wrote it all down lol.

Here we have a mixture of flowers, seam binding bow & the dies I've used are my favourite 'Swirl Leaf' die & 'Feathers' die, both from Noor Design UK.
This gorgeous cute baby image is a digi from La La Land Crafts & although the card is new the image I coloured last year before I took my break. I have a box of images that are coloured & this one cried out at me to be used first........my colouring I hope to get better this year, so may do this baby again in a month or 2 ;-)
So the image is called 'Baby Marci' & she also comes with sentiments but I didnt use any with this card.......sentiments used are from the Maja Design pad.
She is coloured with distress markers & pads, sorry not sure of the colours with me colouring it soooooo long ago :-(

PLease excuse these photo's as I took them last week late at night, maybe I should have taken fresh ones today doh!!!
Inside is decorated to compliment the front. There is lace & cheesecloth added in there as well from Live & Love Crafts, also the clay heart is from there as well.

I've also used Little Darlings 'Lovely View' die from Noor Design UK..........I lurve this die....whats not to love. Though tbh I love LOTS of dies lol.

Well thats it from me lovelies. I'm off to peg bedding out as its so nice then I have crafting to do for DT work while I'm away. Thankfully I dont really need pack as we will bring the caravan down tomorrow & stuff will go straight in there........saves it getting creased in suitcases.

Ok I'm going now lol..........boy I do babble on ;-)
Tatty bye peeps, hope you all have a great Sunday, we are at my eldest sons later for tea mmmmm.
Thanks for stopping by
Hugs Vicky xxx

P.S. If you would like me to start including the colours I use let me know & I will start including them ;-)

Noor Design UK DT Card

Hello again lovelies, how are you all?

Ok so after a long break from things I'm back with my first DT card for Noor Design UK.

Ok so hubster was so excited when I started crafting again that he sent me on a shopping trip to get me some new crafty goodies & of course the first things I got was some of the new Magnolia stamps.........my first crafty buys for MONTHS!!!
I'm rusty & extremely nervous & its been a long time since I coloured with distress inks but I will slowly get back into the swing of things lol.
Ok now all the links to products used will be at the bottom of the post. The frilly lace is from my stash & this stuff I've had forvever & never used it..... Also the mini doily is from my stash & the cardstock.

Love this sentiment stamp set & of course you know I love butterflies. The corners are from another die set, the 12 point corners set but I just used the corners. The butterflies I used both dies in the pack & I cut them twice & layered them up. First layer I cut from card & second layer I cut form the paper I used on the card. Both layers got inked with walnut distress ink & bent into shape a wee bit & a pearl added to the body.

I lurve the leaf dies from Noor Design & always wanting more........a girl can never have too many ;-) I have used 2 different ones on here, a new one that hubster brought me last week & an older one I already had. Flowers are from my stash except the 2 either side the white centre one, they are from Noor Design UK.

The pad is Romance Paper Pad by Joy Craft & is full of purples & lilacs, as you can see you dont just need use it on romance cards. I inked the edges again with walnut distress ink.
If you click on the link to take you there as I forgot to add it in inlinkz...sorry :-( I inked the edges again with walnut distress ink.

Ok so the Tilda stamp is from the latest Spring Fever collection & this one is 'Resting Tilda' & I stamped her onto Langton paper. Now I've had Langton pads for about 2 years but could never master the distress inks on them....I was totally poop. However yesterday at 2am I was in bed not being able to sleep due to bad pain. So I got up & then decided to try colour this stamp in on the Langton. Yayyyy I mastered it........yes there is lots of room for improvemnt but its sooooo much better than I ever managed before lol.
Then yesterday afternoon I suddenly decided she needed a fence to sit in front of........so thats also been stamped onto Langton & coloured with distress inks, markers & ink pads. The fence is also a Magnolia stamp but cant remember from what collection......
The fence I have coloured to try make it look like an old fence, old wood with teeny bits of green in it off the grass, each panel slightly different..........I was actually quite pleased with it.....

Well there you have my first DT card, I'm still rusty & feel like it takes me a lot longer at the min as I'm still getting back into it. Also I dont have a craft room as such at the mo & my stuff is here, there & everywhere but I will be sorted soon........hopefully lol.

Well that's it from me I have a full day of cleaning & washing to do today...... I'm loving cleaning now since I took my break lol.......I even look for excuses to clean, which does not please hubster lol.

Why not get yourself a cuppa & a few bickies & pop on over to Noor Design UK where Tracy has such yummy products.......trust me peeps you wont regret it.

Enjoy your day & take care. Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs Vicky xxx

Live & Love Crafts DT Creation - Happy Birthday Princess

Hello everyone its Saturday which means its my  turn to post something over at LLC using Sandy's theme of Pink + one. I have gone for PInk & Purple inspired totally by my daughters bedroom & the gorgeous Pion 'My Precious Daughter' collection.
Its my daughter's birthday today she's 23, I cant believe it. As some of you know she has severe Cerebral Palsy & whenshe was born she was extremely ill, she wasn't supposed to live much longer than 2 weeks..... All the odds were against her, however she has proved everyone wrong & she will carry on proving everyone wrong, I know she will <3
So here is a gift bag I've made her for one of her pressies. I have put some flasy bath lights in that we have brought her for her new bath ;-)
I lurve this paper collection & it was my favourite Pion collection until Paris Flea Market came out, so I'm gonna say this is one of my favourite's as they always seem to get better & better lol.
So this is the main sentiment which I cut form the 'My Princess 12x12 sheet' as she is our princess.
I also cut out butterflies form the collection, here I layered 2 butterflies up together, added pearl string to the centre & a bit of gesso.
Just tucked under the sentiment is a crown die-cut which is from the Marianne Circle & Crown die. I've inked it up with Milled Lavender distress ink. The circle part is under the spellbinder frame which was cut out using the other side to this same sheet.

Here I've added the crown again but this time I cut it out of the Pion paper, reverse side. I have rolled this top layer of paper which is the top part of 'My Princess 12x12' & added a doily underneath.
I made a small bow, added a metal rose & hung a 'Princess' charm from it.
The 'I Love You' sentiment at the top there is from a Maja Design sheet.
Again I've added another cut out butterfly from the collection.

At the bottom I ripped the paper & added lace to both sides, so it kinda looks like ripped lace as well ;-) Another butterfly, The leaf die is a Noor Design die.
The bottom paper is the reverse side of 'Angels 12x12' sheet. I've inked & slightly distressed all edges & then machine sewn around them.

In the top left corner I've made 2 bows with 2 colours of seam binding that Sandy shabbies up herself & is sooooooo gorgeous, I love this stuff. I also added a charm from it. NOw Natalie cannot do anything, basically a 3 month old mind in a 23 year old body but I know she would probably be like me & lurve & I mean LURVE shoes........or boots & we can never have too many. So that's why I added a Shoe Charm.....think she would probably steal mine from time to time too.
HUbster wonders why I need over 50 pairs when I only have 2 feet.........ah I may only have 2 feet but there are 365 days in a year.......you do the maths. In fact I need more darling ;-) lol

Ok so at the bottom I used my Spellbinder frame again & used the smaller frame to cut out a piece again from the 'Angels' sheet but this is from the front bottom right corner. I've then cut an image from the 'My Princess 6x6' sheet & placed it behind this gorgeous Prima Resin Oval Frame. I added a tiny rose to the top & a scrap of seam binding ot the bottom..........I cant throw any seam binding & keep every bit of scrap lol.
You can also see peeking out from behind the flowers a wooden heart covered in gesso.
Of course I added gorgeous laces, 4 in total including the one behind the ripped paper. I also added an array of gorgeous flowers & pomegranate apples from LLC of course & added a dashing of gesso here & there.

The dies under the flowers are all from Noor Design UK, 0331, 0332 & 0163 which I cut in half to make it wider spreader because its a larger array of flowers.

That is it form me, I'm out with my whole family this afternoon taking the birthday girl out. We've had a hell of a week, with things going from bad to damn right kick you in the teeth, so we are really looking forward to it.

If you pop on over to Live & Love Crafts you can see the uber gorgeous new Pion Collection called 'Linnaeus Botanical Journal', so so pretty.

'To my darling Natalie, 'Happy birthday princess, we are so proud of you & love you from the bottom of our hearts. Hope you have a fabulous day sweetheart mmwah '

Hope you all have a lovely weekend, take care.
Tatty bye & big hugs Vicky xxx
