Gina K Designs October release - Missing You Turtles card

Hi crafty friends! I'm sharing a water colored turtle card using the new Serene Sea Life stamp set by Gina K Designs. There are quite a products released this month including and you can check them all out HERE.
SERENE SEA LIFE STAMP SET

There are quite a few sea critters in this set, but my son's favorite animal is turtles, so I chose this lovely image. I wanted to do some simple water coloring, so after I made the sea background, I stamped the image with Versafine black ink and heat embossed it in clear. I googled sea turtles and found them to have the most gorgeous rich brown tones for their shell, so I went with those colors.

I kept things pretty clean and simple, so I added a few dew drop adhesive gems from my stash and a small black and white striped paper along the bottom. I adhered the turtles on the card base with 1mm foam adhesive for a little dimension. I really love how this turned out!

Gina K Designs - Miss You a Latte shaker tag

Hi Crafty friends! I had so much fun making my small Christmas shaker tags that I wanted to make another! I recently placed a large order from Gina K Designs and it included the adorable Coffee Critters bundle and the Shaker Tag die set.
COFFEE CRITTERS AND SHAKER TAG DIE SET

I just love this cutie bear holding a coffee mug! He looks so dapper with his bright blue sweater and scarf paper pieced to match the tag front.

To make the shaker element, I used the 3mm foam strips. They are 1/8" and perfect for those thin places like the side of the rectangle. I filled my shaker element with sequins, crystal gems and some clay polymer pink hearts. I just love how this turned out!

Gink K Designs | February 2024 Release, Wishing You Well

Hi everyone! Tonight is Gina K Design's February release and I'm excited to share a cute mini slimline card using the Wishing You Well stamp set. The stamp set has a rain boot outline, floral pattern for the boot, some pretty florals, greenery, a flourish and sentiments!
It's a super cute spring stamp set.
Be sure to check out the What's New Section for ALL the new stamps, dies, stencils and other goodies released tonight.

To start this card, I pulled out some of my favorite Gina Products. I love her Master Layouts 7 die set for the perfect mini slimline, the Bodacious Blooms stencil set and my fav ink colors. First I die cut and stenciled my main panel. You have seen me use this stencil and Light Spruce ink for a background many times. I never get tired of it!
Then I stamped out and die cut a variety of florals and stems and arranged them in the boot planter. I went over the Light Orchid flower petals with a Lavender glitter brush and added some tiny gems for some extra sparkle!!
 Supplies used on this card:
Small gems and markers for boot accents from stash

Christmas cards with patterned paper and buttons

Hi everyone! So I was digging around for empty boxes and stumbled on my containers of buttons! I have a container for each color family of buttons. Remember back in the day we put buttons on all our cards? PaperTrey Ink sold bags of buttons to match their cardstock colors. Ahhhh! And I have fond memories of digging through my grandma's old button tins and picking out beauties to use on my cards.

Well, I was inspired to make these 3 Christmas cards and using buttons on them! Can we all agree to bring buttons back? Check out what I made.
Each card features some Christmas patterned paper, an embossed background, simple sentiment, die cut shape and 3 coordinating buttons. Once I got going, these went pretty fast. The longest (and funnest) part was picking the perfect buttons for each card.
And here is a third one in blues.
Do you have a favorite?
Supplies used on these cards
May Arts Silver cord (at Stamp Simply Store)
buttons from stash

Comfort and Joy | clean and simple Christmas card

Hi everyone! I'm here with another quick and easy Christmas card. This came together pretty quickly with a few die cuts I had lying around. I always keep a few die cut frames and I just love the scalloped ones from Pinkfresh Studio.
I have sorely neglected the beautiful Winter Wonderland die set from Gina K Designs and I really wanted to use the pretty church and tree. I wanted a few pops of red, so I die cut some small flowers and used a foiled Christmas sentiment from my stash. I kept everything else crisp and white.
